Honestly Tyla broke me all those years back… loving them and shipping them didn’t seem right but the CHEMISTRY dear lord. Then they simply became tim & lyla and nothing else mattered 💞 although their ending still bugs me to the day, I can totally see they wanted different things and life not always goes the way we want. But that last episode of Lyla coming back will forever live rent free in my head 🥺 thank you for bringing these two back again!!

This is so beautifully done! I've always loved them but even having rewatched this show just 3 years ago many of these little moments of their eyes look new and unfamiliar to me like no other vidder has ever highlighted these moments with editing in quite this way before.
And the parallel at the end of Matt and Becky both asking him about her... I love it so much. Poor Tim trying to come to terms with how it's really over... I'll never forgive the series finale for not bringing them back even for a brief friendly affection as exes something. Just give us a moment, a glimmer of hope, anything...
Also this song is such a perfect song I've always loved too. Worked so so well for them.
OMG OMG OMG!!! This was breathtaking!!! And your timing could not have been better, as I just finished a rewatch (through early s4, because I just can't after that point). It had been years since I first watched FNL, and now my Tim/Lyla feels are back and running haywire! lol I cannot believe they weren't endgame. I mean, the amount of growth they go through together and the way they believe in each other...they (and we lol) deserved a payoff for that in the end! /cries/
But anyway, I loved the voice overs and parallels you made in this! It's so beautiful and really depicts how great they were together, and it just shows how there's no way they were getting over each other! Amazing job on this! I hope you make another one about them sometime soon! 💙

It seemed that Lyla knew it was the end when she asked Tim what he wanted and he said "you". Then she asked what else he wanted and he said "you". That seemed to tell her it was the end, the real end. She knew she couldn't be every thing for him and she wanted more for her life than only him.
Also I forgot to mention this in my other comment, but I love that you used a Taylor song for them!!! Combining two things I love!! 💕
If you ever decide to make another one, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince fits them really well too. I remember thinking of them the first time I heard the song. Lol
First this song always kills me. Second I tried watching this show in like 2015 but I couldn’t get past the whole Jason and Lyla thing so I stopped watching. Always shipped Matt and Julie from afar. But my husband loves this show and got me to watch it. I actually ship the trio Jason, Lyla and Tim lol but I wanted to see if there was fan vids of just Tim and Lyla since we are on season 3 now and I love them (s3 is always the best for ships)! Anyway I love your editing and glad to see its recent!
