just replayed Human Revolution because its one of the memorable games and i will never depart with it. The soundtrack is also perfect and really adds to to the games atmosphere!
For me a game's athmosphere is pretty much everything. The music is a big part in creating a good athmosphere so I very much appreciate a good soundtrack.
@@Marius-gx9qn Agree. ME trilogy is my favorite videogame of all. Each time I play it, takes me to a place I could swore I've already been in. That's how great the atmosphere is. ME Andromeda, altough a nice experience, couldn't make the same effect for me.
@@GeneraluStelaru It has fewer "proper" conversation battles, fewer boss battles, and the story is a bit worse, and it is a little bit shorter. But the new characters are just as good, gameplay is better, there is more to explore than human revolution, better developed sidequests. DLC also is good, especially criminal past - just as good as missing link IMO.
@@GeneraluStelaru Played DXMD twice now. Main plot is okay. I missed at least 2 side quests on first run. Then realized I still missed a few on my second run. The game doesn't explicitly puts the side missions on your face. So they're easy to miss. It is not as small as you might think if you don't count DXHR Directors cut. Though I think they should have integrated DLCs in main game.
I have been gaming since 1985, and Human Revolution Director's Cut is my favorite game of all time! Thank you for this video, it really speaks to my soul in a way words simply cannot describe... have an awesome day :)
@@nefariousnilbog not sure, I played it on PC and PS3. The Directors cut is much better. Sorry I took so long to reply, I work a lot lol. Hopefully you are able to play the directors cut.
I agree. I first picked up a controller in the late nineties. DXHR was mindblowing, from the art direction, atmosphere, the story, gameplay... I’ve bought it three times on three platforms. I was let down heavily by mankind divided. Not that it was bad, but it was nowhere near HR.
Micheal McCann --> what a genius. Each soundtrack of Deus Ex HR feels different but so powerfull. Those vibes are playing between and living into my walls now
how was the aesthetic design in this game so fucking good? the actual implementation of the graphics themselves tended to leave a little to be desired, but holy fuck. this game is just so fucking gorgeous on almost all levels if you're paying attention to the concepts.
Glad you enjoy them and that they help you focus at work! It's been a few months since my last Deus Ex upload, but there is still much, much more to do :)
This game is one of the greats but the music to me is just astonishingly good. I played it for a gf as we fell asleep and she asked what it was the next day. I told her about the game and she said "yeah, I can feel that. That music really creates a vibe"
It's pretty sad that in 2020 I can play a nearly 9 year old game and totally sink in a small atmospheric world, with good gameplay and story while every modern open world title is just an empty playground overfilled with boring NPCs and lazy fetch quests. I can't wait for CP2077 and I hope it can give me the same feeling DX:HR did.
If you don't remember both of these games didn't do so well. The people who played the originals where hurt it departed from aspects of the original and for the newcomers it's was a cover shooter in a sea of other cover shooter games. The unskippable beginning scene and slow first few hours of the game didn't reel people in enough. I agree this game is very good but at the time it didn't stick out as anything special because there where a million games that where similar.
I went through her stuff. She likes chess and fencing, has multiple degrees. I assume she is highly intelligent and competitive, loves to outsmart opponents. Sort of play with the opponent even though is already won. The empty frames in her penthouse, gives me a feeling she dont like her parents or had no parents at all. To family or ties. Its just her. World can be hard if you are all alone but she made it, all alone. I just assume everything I wrote but damn, thats how you can tell a story of a person. Design a level so you can "read it" just by looking without a singel word spoken.
after the cutscene with zhao, if i make a quicksave and then quickload, this song plays instead of the intended one, but with the siren being played as well. for some reason, this along with the siren, becomes one of my favourite sections of the game. is there ANY way for you to make a version of this with that siren playing too?
Hell yes it would. I got the augmented edition with the extra disc containing the soundtrack, never extracted it though because i have no bluray reader, but I heard barley any songs are on it anyway... Oh well gotta figure something out
If you're on a computer, try RUclips downloader. Pick the highest resolution video version you can, and download the video. Then use a converter program (I have used several in the past, but VLC is a good one for mp3). Then use windows media player or another burner program to burn the (now audio file) to a CD, or upload the mp3 to your preferred player. I've always used .WAV lossless to make my CDs, because even though the file size is quite large, the audio quality is worth it.
@@sunny_senpai Is there another Deus Ex game? Seemed like they stopped after The Fall. I'd like to see another game that ties the events of Deus Ex 1 with those of Deus Ex Human Revolution.

Deus Ex Human Revolution isn't just a game. It's an experience. Same goes for Mankind Divided.
