"being behind in life" makes literally no sense, life has no intrinsic goals or objectives, life just is, youre just supposed to live it and do the stuff you believe will be better for you and for the others, and thats it, when you compare yourself youre just creating problems that only live in your head, if you didnt thought about them you would just be living the moment and be ok with it. i try to not stress it, to not think way ahead and to create those intangible goals "oh in 2 years i will be set up" what eve is being set up? the goals that really matter are the ones with clear objectives and steps to achieve them, yeah i want to be a great developer one day but i shoulnd think that in like 10 years i will be there, thinking about that wont help the goal, what helps the goal is thinking "what am i studying next? how can i get more knowledge from the people whom i work with?" i think that if youre thinking about that, easier and more palpable goals, life will be better, will be less stressful, i really enjoy my day to day, not because im rich or because i will be rich or have stuff or whatever its because im living it not stressing for possibilities made in my mind sometimes the mind works against it
