There is a live version where he sings it almost identically to this version but you aren't distracted by the beauty of the model in this video. This is a song where I recommend viewing both the official video and the live version.
R u kidding? Don't see how the video distracts from the lyrics. If anything, the video is a work of art that perfectly reflects the emotions of the song and the studio version is 100x better just in terms of audio quality. The sound is clean, deep, and perfect.
