Could have wired it to the switch side of the starter solenoid and added a fuse between there and fuel pump. Just a suggestion rather than run it all the way to the front of the cart.
Yes, great idea. Never thought of that. Thanks...
@@camaromodschannel What did you do with the vacuum line from the old pump? Plug it off or reroute it?
@@gmg2king plugged it with a screw. Thanks
This pump is $113 not $13......???????
Go brandon, not when I got it. You got the wrong one. Thanks
Thats how I wired mine. On the starter side of the solenoid. Works fine and you don't have to listen to it when you come to a stop and saves battery.
Yes, works great. Thanks
Why wouldn't you wire it so when the engine is turning over the pump is on. The way you wired it you would always have to turn the key off.
Connect it to the starter? When its turning over, will only get fuel when the starter is running. Don't bother me to turn it off. Find a way to connect it to the charging system, when its charging the pump is running. May look into this. Great idea.
Is this style low pressure enough to work safely with carb ??
Yes this is a carb setup.
Does it work well? Does it not over do it on the gas supply? How's it working out? I need to put one on my old G1 I use around home.
Yes, working well. It don't over do it your float cuts the fuel when not needed. Thanks
@@camaromodschannel that’s what I was thinking
With this work in the subzero winter in Minnesota?
As long as your fuel doesn't freeze, run some heat fuel additive. Should be fine. Thanks.
👍👍
Thanks
