Not a hunter main, but I will definitely be taming the Fey Darter on one of my hunters, same with the magma animals for my dark iron hunter. The flower crystalspines are really cute as well.
Didn't mention it but the magma mammoth has 2 colors. One is Yellow/Gold the other is Red/Gold...and they have hot ash blowing off them! Awesome tanks! Oh and there is a lava tarantula too. Found mine up around ScaleCracker Keep behind the life binder observatory.
Lesser Dragonkin are Ferocity spec and their special ability is called Shimmering Scales which reduces magic damage taken by 70% for 8 sec (90 sec cooldown). They can eat meat and fish. Veilwings (the Ardenweald drakes) belong to Lesser Dragonkin. Vorquin are currently in the Stag family, not Lesser Dragonkin.

They are tameable as part of the Iskaar reputation at level 12, if I remember correctly. By the way, the otters close to the zone at the end of the quest chain are not tameable. You have to go a bit further down the river to tame one.

A little upset. I am exalted with all the factions on my main shaman. I heard about tome to tame lesser dragonkin so went to check if it was available for purchase but shaman can't see it. I remember the cloud serpent tome. I could buy it and send it to my hunter bind on account. Mechabond was just an engineer craft you could buy and sell. Undead tame was just a random drop. 23 levels of renown is a lot especially if you already did it.
Yeah mate I get you, I did assume too that it would be bind on account so you can send the tome over to your hunter, should have been this way to be honest 😖

You know, they really wasted an opportunity with the hunter lodge in legion to have a ton of your hunter pets on display like how you have your battle pets visible in your pet menagerie in your garrison.
Yeah bit awkward that ain’t it, hopefully they’ll free up pet specs at some point and let us talent them into whatever spec we want regardless of species

I agree with taming a protodrake or the like, but a full dragon would be a bit weird given they are basically people and can talk. It's sort of like when I walked into my garrison to realize I had accidentally put my squire/gruntling, wretched servant, lost soul, and my dredger butler in my pet menagerie next to the battle pets... And, you can use the lost souls and wretched servants as battle pets... I think the little helpers might be battle pets too. Just kidnapping some gnomes this Christmas to murder baby dragon whelps for pet supplies.
I really appreciate the video but.... atleast show us on the map roughly locations of each tame point, atleast for some of the colorations not all, cause stating the area, thats quite a big chunk to fly around trying to find these.
Hey mate did you get sorted?! First of all make sure you’ve not got an active pet, and make sure you’ve got a pet slot free (you get 5 active ones at one time) if you’ve got 5 active pets go to a stable master and put a pet in stables to free up a slot.. once you’ve got a slot, look in your spellbook for ‘pet utilities’ and tame beast should be in there, you can drag it to your bars or just click it, or even target the pet you want to tame and type /cast tame beast Let me know if you need any more help!

Yeah :( the only thing warlocks get pet wise really is the pit Lord from the demo talent tree, but it’s tied to nether portal and it’s not a controllable pet so doesn’t really count!
I think the new pets are too boring :) I use Skarr from Molten Front, Black Cat with red eyes, it's so cool :) Have had 2 of them for many years, and you develop a relationship with them, so you don't just change them out like that

A small addidtion. The pandaren cloud-serpents changed family from snake to lesser dragonkin, thus switching to feriocity, gaining bloodlust.

I'm only into rare pets. I tamed them all. Spirit beasts are my favs by far. They match my N811 huntress with spectral tiger mount the best.

You can tame the Veiled Damsel fly in Veiled Ossuary, I got a lovely Blue one called Legs

Why can't I tame the lava mammoth? Lore says untamable. I'm BM, and the mammoths are not too high a level for me.
