  • Good day Everyone!
It's been awhile since I last uploaded a video. But, It's good to back :)
I and Joshua recently came back from a week holiday in Uluru (Mid - August 2022). In that week, we spent 4 days and 3 nights in the Outback with Mulgas Adventure Tours.
On the first day, we were picked up in the hotel around 12:30pm. We were immediately greeted by lovely Laura and gave us sandwiches for lunch. So thoughtful! The bus is air-conditioned and the chairs are comfortable.
On the same day, we had the opportunity to walk around the Uluru. It was so good! I have the feeling of fulfilment and happiness within me. It feels different. (Don't forget to use sunscreen and to bring your hat, sunglasses and at least 1.5l of water during the walk as it gets really hot!). Laura then gathered us all in a hut to give us a brief history of the people, Uluru and its surroundings. She is so good! We then watched the sunset over Uluru while enjoying a glass of wine. It was beautiful! We set for the night in one of the campsites in the Ayer's rock resort, had our dinner, went to the lookout and slept under the stars in our traditional swag beside the camp fire. I had a good night! By the way, if you don't have sleeping bag with you, you can rent it out for 20 dollars. Believe me, you need it in cold nights.
Day 2. Watching sunrise over Uluru. If you are not an early riser, you have no choice. Time is valuable and if you don't follow the set time, the whole team will missed out. After having our continental breakfast, we head straight to the lookout and admired the view as the skies lit up and changes colours. It's amazing! After that, we went to hike at the Valley of the Winds (Kata Tjuta). I tell you, it's worth it and very windy! There was an area that looks like in the movie (Jurassic Park). So beautiful! We had BBQ lunch (Camel burger patty, bacon and eggs) in the camp then we're off the the next camp site. Along the way, we stopped in one of the lookouts overlooking Mt. Conner (Fake Uluru) and the largest sea lake. There, we played with the sand and took lovely photos. Expect sand to be in your face (lol). After that, we collected fire woods. We spent the night at the Kings Creek station. There, we managed to buy our own drinks and snacks. They have pool. So, we all went it. One thing, it's cold! Also, they have (warm, nice) showers and toilets. For dinner, we had salads, bread, kangaroo steak, etc. Ending the day with Laura, playing her guitar and singing for us near the camp fire while we talk and eat marshmallows. The stars our beautiful!
Day 3. Hiking at the Kings Canyon to catch the Sunrise. After having Pancakes for breakfast, we head straight off to Kings Canyon. This is the most challenging so far. I felt sick, going up the steep stairs but we all made it! There are so many things to see: The famous golden walls, the garden of Eden, the hills that looks like the Chocolate hills of the Philippines, etc. It's worth it! We head back to camp for lunch then off to Bush camp where we had Pasta, Garlic bread and Cinnamon apples. We also played games, get to know everyone more, etc. We had such a fantastic time! P.S that was my first time using the portable toilet that literally don't have a door. But the view is amazing!
Day. 4 Last day. It came fast! Overall, we had so much fun! I thank God for the good weather throughout the trip and for our safety. Thank you Laura for being a fantastic tour guide! I also thank Joshua for always there for me. I love you always! Thank you everyone for being the best! You are all awesome :) Be safe and have fun!
