I would recommend only one thing. Your parachute post is tipped forward a bit. The best way to ensure the post stays vertical is on the last two or three wraps of thread when creating/wrapping the base, pull the thread tightly to the rear and wrap the shank a couple of times. This will pull the post into the vertical position and secure it's position. You do fine work. I like the idea of using the CDL feather stem for the body. The stems are almost indestructible. Thanks for posting.
+Mark Patenaude You are tottally right Mark. When I posted it. It was veary irritating for me, because I could see the problem, thanks for you ideer and kind words. But I also has to edmid that it is dam hard to tye good flies exactly every time you try to film it :-(
+SMHAEN My pleasure. I could tell that for some reason you were very shaky compared to your other videos. Hey, we all have good and bad days don't we... Someday and when you get a chance please email me at fishes-with-fly@comcast.net. I'd like to know what inspired you for your upright wing style and I also would like to make a proposition regarding something that I think you will find of great interest to you. Thanks. Mark
Hi I just bought 5 of your blue midge bobbins and am really looking forward to using them. Is it your own midge bobbin that you're using in this video? Thanks.

Thanks so much for your quick response! I tie flies in sizes 12-20. Is the midge bobbin best suited for these size flies? Many thanks once again!

Why no legs?
The pattern is without :-) the fly is hanging deeper below the surface without (Fly tying for everybody)
What was the rib material?
there is no rib. but the body is coq de leon quill.
