Two things. You can definitely brake and turn at the same time and you absolutely have to to go wheelie fast. And, road racing isn't quite the money pissing contest drag racing is, but you better believe that money absolutely matters lol.
You have probably already figured this out by now, but you need a load more camber up front if you don't want to destroy the outside of the tire. And hopefully you have upgraded the brake pads to a legit track pad and done a full brake flush with some good RBF600 or better fluid.
some of those tires only cost $70 to replace... but some have to say, tires come in to match needs of the getting around that's a pre-calculated thing... 4.6 V8 still makes 160psi after 400'000km? that's +150k in fuel
fasting for a week then going on a 700 mile endurance being 140lb is a bit tricky, some of the last few turns up their are a down sloped uphill that kicks ya over... once off the flat track it's shady.

Getting a little bit of camber in the front might help you with tire wear. For me it was night and day difference! It also help the handling 😏

bump a curb 10 inch at 155... one truck did and the whole front end wheel tore off.
