The misinformation is a big contributing factor-another reason I was so happy to find this channel. Not just for the Q & A, but all the experiments debunking various myths.

I remember I thought agaves were aloes until my mother-in-law gave me a big leaf and a pup from her huge one in her backyard. Imagine my surprise when I couldn’t make any hair gel 😂
😂😂😂 you made me laugh at Agave... they can be very useful though.
I myself didn't know until now that Haworthia isn't an Aloe. I knew it isn't Aloe Vera, but always assumed it's Aloe Something and therefore most likely isn't edible.
I have a few of them and I am treating them the same way I treat my Aloe plants and they are thriving.
Lastly I think that when somebody confuses a plant with an Aloe, it isn't the same as confusing a tiger with a cat or fox with a dog. It was quite an overexaggerated analogy.

Yes I'm one of those confused and skeptical if I can consume the aloe I'm growing. I like buying (del Monte) juice with aloe vera, gusto ko i-try yng aloe ko kaso there are kinds nga daw na non edible and may cause allergies. Baka bumula bibig ko imbes na maging healthy eh 😅.
