The older they get. The more they’ll realize it’s actually a timeless masterpiece. I suggest Megadeth-She wolf rude awakening live 2001 version. That’s one of Megadeth’s best live performances make sure it’s the Rude Awakening version 🤘🏼🤘🏼
I love what you are doing, introducing your girls to different styles of music. I did that with my kids. If you want to show them a totally different style show them "Thick as a Brick" live at Madison Square Garden by Jethro Tull. I would absolutely love to see their reactions. Both my kids loved Tull with the flute.
I think they would enjoy Symphony of Destruction by Megadeth more. It’s awesome what you are doing, I did the same with my daughter and she is a devout metalhead now. She turns 31 this yr and on Thursday she was backstage in Switzerland for Metallica and 5 Finger Death Punch. Other suggestions would be Metallica Sanitarium and 5FDP Wash it all away. Also have you heard of Liliac? It’s a family band that covers 80’s rock. All 5 are brothers and sisters.
Always liked the opening line" What do mean I don't believe in God, I talk to him everyday" Dave Mustaine just didn't sit on his butt and whine after Metallica kicked him out. So many other songs to check out by Megadeth. Holy Wars, Tornado of Souls (awesome solo), My Last Words, Symphony of Destruction, Sweating Bullets, Trust, Foreclosure of a Dream, Angry Again, Hanger 18, Train of Consequences, In My Darkest Hour, and A Tout Le Monde
Let's not be giving up on ol' megadeth just yet, I think tornado of souls next, hangar 18 if they like solos or something softer like tout le monde. Hope you do a Babymetal song soon, regardless it heartens me to see the next generation enjoying good music
i have a couple (for now) of suggestions; After forever - dreamflight (live 2007) epica - kingdom of heaven part 3, omega alive delain - no complience (album version) blind guardian - wheel of time (album version) unlucky morpheus - unending sorceress (music video)
Lets hear some of (The Warning)-( Choke!) Awesome New rock band of 3 sisters! There hotter then fire rite now! You& Your Daughters will love them! I promise 1 Listen and you'll want more!!!
Lol! I'll be fair.. Its a weaker video.. They are taking it as a whole.. And I guess they also just don't resonate with freedom and peace.. Not knowing what it means to not have it.. Live on food stamps and wait in an employment line the length of the street.. These are experiences they don't have and are probably still to young to fully grasp.. Your oldest will get it in a couple of years.. Your youngest is probably looking for something more like Trusts video.. Or the 2 videos for The Threat Is Real and Dystopia.. They can be a bit graphic though.. I've no idea what you think is appropriate but those 2 videos back to back have a linear story for them to follow.. The older videos from the 80s and 90s were pretty abstract and more about the band and like a theme like marching/riots moshing crowds ect.. To the 90s where things got sort of weirder and they would tell sort of abstract stories with the videos like Trust, Train of Consequences, A Secret Place.. Insomnia.. 00s much the same sort of thing but with more of a band focus.. Then in the 10s and now the 20s they've been putting out more linear story driven videos with a little of the band featured.. The video for Super Collider, The Threat Is Real, Dystopia, Lying in State.. Post American World, Conquer or Die are more of the 90s style videos with the band playing featured most.. Both versions of a 90s video.. Band flashing on screen playing with concept art video Post American World.. The band playing live with lots of angles and effects, crowd shots and a brief touch on the bands Mascot at the end.. Now we have the new song and video from the new album and it's a full on war movie story in the length of a song.. Story of a soldier whose family is murdered by mercs and then gets into a conflict with those mercs later on while out on patrol.. It's chapter 1 of a 3 part story.. Which again.. Modern times different type of videos.. They'll probably like the new videos more. I guess if you want a music related opinion from them you need to play just the music for them.. Most of Megadeths videos though are quite violent at times.. Which is awesome.. But it does create a bit of a barrier when playing them for kids though.

Oh I know the perfect video thats a blend of all those things from Megadeth.. Public Enemy Number 1.. That would be perfect. Its a fun video.
Thank you! It was a test trial. I got all kinds of bands coming up to show the girls🤘
@@metaldaddaughters I'd give more Megadeth a go and see how their opinions change across songs and albums.
