Black Jack strategy tells you when to hit or stay. Which I learned in about 3 days. It’s basically a table you can memorize pretty easily. Actually left ahead $150 the other night simply playing that, but it was a lot of luck. But perfect black jack strategy still gives the casino a 0.5% edge. @@ryanwsu4you might know this by now but counting does actually tell you when you should deviate from basic strategy. The biggest thing with the count is definitely that it determines when you should raise/lower your bets but there are cases of when to deviate from basic strategy. That’s just 1 of the deviations you can play but you can still be a winning player without deviations. I finally understood it. You need to be in plus amount to see higher returns on your end. So if the cards are coming out plus 12 to 14 that's that best to play. If your getting more negative then a positive then your losing a potential good deck. And that's when you play at a normal rate
Wouldn't it be easier to count cards with the HI cards +1 and the Lo cards -1, it makes it easier to see a high card and add.... it freaks the brain to see high card and then subtract. If you did it this way all you need to remember is a negative variance is good AKA the casino is at a negative advantage to you.
You have to be wary of single deck blackjack because they know that you can destroy the house and they typically only run 6:5 payouts which is horrible. If you can find a 3:2 table, though, you can absolutely make bank off single deck.
2-6 is +1 7-9 is 0 10-A is -1 Keep that count of numbers and it when it's more positive, it helps you know that there's more Aces and 10s in the deck. When that happens, you bet more because you're more likely to hit a blackjack.
