I often just call my self the "Suicide Burner" because I just ran in a group and burn them, sometimes i kill, other times i hope my teammates kill the burning enemies, and most of the times i just tell myself "That was dumb"

There is this pyro kind of guys that are really wholesome we can say, they are not noobs but neither pro-players, they try their best and sometimes get yelled at, the thumbs up cat meme fits them so well
They are pyros that simply try their best and get yelled at by tryhards
Tryhards are our predators and we're just preys that can airblast them away from time to time ;_;

As a pyro main sometimes i just like to see the world burn by holding W+M1
i'm just being a team player while being passive-aggresive depending on my job at the team.
Although it’s satisfying to do combos, it is nice to burn everything

Pybro #2: At some level Engies become good enough to deal with Spies themselves, so this Pybro is in the frontlines protecting your Medic pocket from reflects, enemy Spies, and juggling enemy Ubers. Because is Spy really worse dealing with than an Ubered Demoman on your sentry?

Nothing is more satisfying in tf2 then destroying that one pyro who abuses the phlog 24/7.

@@combinemetrocop4213 unfortunately phlog destroys vaccinator because valve had the bright idea to make afterburn reduce the fire shield to 20% and crit immunity to 20% crit resistance

@@TheDunsparceGames does it? Vacc blocks crits and most of the damage. Pholg pyros can't aim, so they use scorch shot, they are no match for heavy medic vac combo

As a combo pyro, I'm kind of happy that some people like us
First two are 99% to be new players, and you can't really blame them
But you sure as hell can (hopefully) teach them

As a pyro shark myself I've found that pyro shark is surprisingly effective against bots no idea why but I kill a lot of kills from bots

The Chef pyro: Always wears the Fosters Facade with the chef hat. Will almost always equip cooking related items, like the Degreaser. Also, one of the strongest kinds of wm1 to ever exist. In the good way.
As a Pyro Main W+M1 is BS sometimes. Because from experience being a W+M1 means you have any primary equiped. Ill be spy checking, defending my engineer's nest, or simply using my primary weapon and suddenly im the scum of the TF2 community.
Heads up guys sure sometimes its just someone new but the problem isnt that the class named Pyro has a primary that can spit fire. Your only getting mad because you died.
Also for anyone that is new, July 17th is Pyroshark Day. Even if you don't usually play as pyroshark, that is the day each year to play as a pyroshark.

crit gimmik: uses backburner, flaregun, neon annihalator, acts like a pybro unsapping buildings, combos (somehow, idk how i do it), and hates random crits, and is somehow behind you

You missed out on
- Pyroknight, They use the thermal thruster to jump onto their enemies and frag them using the Volcano Fragment, not alot of people know about them. (Thermal Thruster + Sharpened Volcano Fragment + Degreaser)
-Dragons Fury Pyros, These guys are always dominating you with the Dragons Fury, But most that i see dont reflect projectiles.
PYRO BEST CLASS
People say that pyro is the best class because is the easiest class you just need to w+m1+m2 '-'

i'm a pyro main.
i'm not the fragger type, i like to be team support (extinguish teammates, reflecting projectiles out of them, being spies' worst nightmare, protecting my fellow engies)

You forgot me the Dragon's fury Pyro. The person who doesn't like playing Pyro at all but learned to love the DF so he took way too much time learning how to use it only to die to a medic running at him with the blutsauger because the DF's mechanics are made from duct tape amd broken dreams so he goes nack to his real main class and sometimes pulls it out depressed (also usually uses detonator as a crutch to get around, do most of the long range for you, and basically im just calling myself out)

@@wayash2116 For liking a weapon that better fits the intended role of the pyro while diminishing the airblast crutch in his game design in a healthy way and being pissed off that it doesn't work properly? Yes how dare I like good game design, I should go degreasser and panic attack playing as a discount scout who can turtle and maybe catch people barely paying attention off guard. Because that is definitely a fun well designed class that isn't band-aided and covered in improvised balance decisions at all!
Maybe I would prefer if my gun worked properly? I mean I can just swap to demo which is what I do and one shot whole servers, but then I just think about how disappointing it is the gun I want to fucking use is literally non functioning. "Oh but you died to a blutsauger medic." Yeah because the gun doesn't work, the literal fireball get's deleted, and guess what? I swap to anything else and I can fucking kill the guy, so maybe that is a bug that needs to be fucking fixed.
How to get the respect of strangers: don't touch your flamethrower unless a soldier is shooting at you and only use the flare gun and the Axtinguisher
i try being a combo Pyro because i like it but usually i just embarrass myself
As a pyro main, I think you forgot the people who play to support their team, such as capturing points and killing any threats. I am one of them lol

My stereotype: The supporter
Focuses on flanking the enemy team and helping his team. Think of him as the baby of a pybro and a combo pyro
What they do:
- Like combo pyro they are a force to be reckoned with
- Makes sure that their team is safe
- Extinguishes everyone
- Mostly uses stock, panic attack or scorch shot, and homewrecker, neon annihilator or back scratcher to not waste a medic's time
- Calmer then a sloth
- Cheerful
- Always leaves what whatever he was doing to go spycheck his base
- No matter if his team loses he still has hope for his team
- Has nice or wacky cosmetics
See I’m an pyrogineer and I solve problems with fire I mastered wm1 when people don’t hate me bc my teammates get mad points and kills especially my medic sooooo yea
I am most likely the m2 pyro cuz I really want those juicy reflects, i usually end up getting one and killing myself because i air blasted it the wrong direction

2 more stereotypes:
-jungle inferno contracto: are fairly new and are trying to use the jungle inferno weapons to finish contracs/try them out and are pretty bad at it
-dragon fury pyro: has a dragon's slayer dragons fury and either demolishes the enemy team or can't aim for shiet
pybro, with a bot of combo and wm1 sometimes
im very well-rounded
flanking pyro, the guy who looks for the road less traveled and ambushes people.
as a pyro main, i play as the pyro because i first of all cant aim and engineers are cool people so i like to help them. when i see a sentry being zapped i w+m1 to know where the spy is then i blast him with my shotgun when u know where he is then if he tries to escape its w+m1 time. oh and i also like fire but i unfortunately dont have the homewrecker
As a scout main you have to learn how to fight every class and it takes time Pyro is a was one of the hard classes to fight. I recommend getting the jump on them to quick shotguns shot kill faster then a fire uncle Dane sayed that
The Flying Pyro: a pyro that spends 80% of the game launching themselves across the map to enemies using the thermal thruster
Other pyro stereotypes:
Flying dragon pyro: always uses jetpack because he wants to just suddenly appear and kill you when you least expect.
Jungle Inferno Pyro: This guy uses J.I unlockables, usually thinking that they are good and they will look cool because they unlocked all of them.
Long range pyros: these guys always use the flaregun or scrotchshot to burn enemies from far away, usually they enjoy burning a lot of targets with scotchshot.
Rakers: These are usually guys who always want to get a melee kill. They are named after guys who use the backscratcher because.. how could you not want to bonk a person with a rake!?
i am a w + m1 but when i see a demo i forget about mouse 1 and i start panicking
I'm the pyro who sets everything in flames. Is there a good hiding spot to stay as a baguette (spy)? Well there isn't now while I'm here. What's that? You're chilling while defending the objective? Boom, you're on fire. What? You're going to the frontline right after you respawned? Well somehow I'll set you on fire there. There is no escape! XD

I don't get why people still complain about W+m1 not taking skill, if someone calls a Pyro a ''W+m1 noob'' that says more about the enemy's poor positioning than the Pyro just using his Flamethrower for it's intended purpose, and for the argument Pyro does more than W+m1 I don't get why I should arbitrarily use an ability such as airblast in the middle of a battle I was about to win just to risk giving the enemy a free escape.
Technically speaking Scout, Soldier, Demo, Heavy and Medic also W+m1 a lot of the time but because people don't know how to space themself from the enemy they'll be surprised the guy with the Flamethrower uses it to burn them.
W+m1 shouldn't be considered a bad thing, if something works why avoid it for the sake of not being trashtalked by the random anime Spy main on a casual 2fort server you've never even met before?
@CheesusCrustTheCheesyBoi A skilled player yes, but I'm talking about the people who don't even know how to counter it who will just trashtalk the Pyro in chat for using something effective.
@CheesusCrustTheCheesyBoi W+M1 is especially weak against soldiers or demos since these stereotypes usually don't know how to time their airblasts right.

Honestly i’m a PyBro but sometimes i just say ”Fuck it” and run behind the enemy with the back burner
I'm like that pyro who goes on community servers, gets immediately killed by A "pro" sniper main, then just types "you shouldn't underestimate my power" and then starts trying to Market garden with the axetinguisher (without setting on fire first. I know, what a savage).
I once got chased down by a scary-ass combo pyro in 2Fort canals. I was an engie at A LITERAL 1HP, on fire, and just barely made it to the water. I also had no ammo into the rescue ranger and had a wrangler so I was defenseless (all metal wasted on a dispenser to slow him down). I did have a little distance so he couldn't catch up but eventually, I tried jumping over the fence to get the medkit but failed, so I just cowered in the corner. To my astonishment the Pyro actually let me live and we had a high-five. What a nice pyro that was :D

Imagine sucking so hard you can't counter someone walking in a straight line spewing flames. Protip: Pay attention to the game, it's not hard. Beware of chokepoints and medics building uber. In the case of a phlog pyro literally just play demo. Always stay in the backline, and open your eyes. Follow this and W+M1 will no longer be a problem. source: i play a lot of phlogchamp pyro.

Currently I’m still a bit forced into that stage, but at least I’m trying to use the panic attack with flame thrower and attempt to reflect stuff and extinguish burning teammates.
I used to go with combo pyro, but I got sick of being called names that I didn't deserve in any way, so now I just crouch near tall buildings to airblast people to a higher level, I still get called names, but I guess it's better this way...
As a Pyro main, my playstyle isn't the usual three: Flanking, Combo, and Support/Pybro. However, I can do a bit of everything: I can combo and go Pybro, but can set up ambushes. As a result, i am a Jack of all Trades.
U can count flyro as A subclass cuz when u jetpack as pyro... its just... words can not describe fealing.

I sometimes forgot to m1+w cuz I'm trying to Combo with Axetinguisher/Postal Pummeler, it mostly gets me killed
I'd add Highlander Pyro: works with the attacking part of the team protecting them (mostly the Medic) from Spies, Scouts and projectiles- a trio with a power class, Medic and Pyro will be much more successful than power class-med combo or Pyro-Med combo alone.
Of course, the most psychotic class has the most chill & friendly community.

I like teaching those new players who thought pyro is just wm1 and the friends i made just teaching them how to pyro jump (pyro rocket jump using reflect) and other amazing combos is just satisfying and it just fills my heart seeing them improve at the game.
First time in tf2 was me being a pyro main but im a demo main now and switching to pyro in some casual games just makes me remember those good days of my pyro progression and the random players i taught.

you forgot the flare junkie, it doesn't matter that the flare is harder to use, it doesn't matter that they could get easy kills with a flametrhower, it doesn't matter that half of them use the scorch shot because they can't aim actual flares, they are going to spam that shit, right at you, even if you're a scout up in their face, I do this (tho I use regular or det because I like being complimented for my flares not bitched at for them) and it's honestly a lot of fun, yeah I'll use my flamethrower from time to time, but it's just a vehicle to get those tasty flare crits when doing a combo, I love the stock flare gun!
I miss being a force to be reckoned with using deg, flare and axtinguisher

Ight lemme get you a really nice tip for pyro mains mainly focused on new ones, the flamethrower doesn't shoot flames by itself, it doesn't reflect by itself, and it mostly won't move by itself, sure go for risky reflects or combo like sketchek, but you will always learn and learn from your mistakes, do your best.
Im an engineer main but when im a pyro im a combo pyro mixed with a pybro

When I play 2fort and go pyro it's always pyroshark and I ask someone from the enemy team to go pyroshark, have a shark truce and we just kill enemies that get in the water

I play heavy most of the time, so I don't really have many "annoying pyros" moments, they just die.
There is one stereotype you did not mention the flank Pyro. These pyro have the backburner and use the jetpack to move behind the enemy line and burns them to death. This type is usually always going flanking and backburning the enemy team.
W + M1 pyro with pyro vision goggles is just the mind of W + M1 pyro
I love the degreaser panic attack combo
My favorite loadout is:
Dragons fury.
Thermal Thruster.
Homewrecker.
I normally fly to the enemy base for kills then fly back to the base for spy checking.
Another Missing One is:
The Solo Pyro: This Pyro is very annoying when trying to do a coordinated push, and gets often raged at for not being with there team, yet doesnt care, as there doing there own thing.
they mostly use the stock shotgun and power jack and uses a variety of flamethrowers, but mostly the stock.
Where's the flyro? Backburner and thermal thruster pyros are known to be dickish and more dangerous if skilled since they will come out of nowhere and instaburn you. People often yell them for wm1 but they can airblast unlike the phlog pyro.

i made a new pyro stereotype its called the pyrolander/ pretty much a friendly pyro that messes around with pyrovision and air blast.
U missed a type what I call a "anti scout" a decent pyro player but LOVES to chase scouts into corners then burn them
The scorch shot pyro who slams the damn thing constantly.
How to sum up the pyro stereotypes: the good the bad and the ugly
So why do people only like pyros who use the homewrecker? The short circuit removes sappers too!
then in the dodgeball stereotypes you have the guy who goes in hte enemy team's area
What about the "Snipyro": using dragon fury. "Friendly": pretty self explanatory. "Scoutyro": using fast weapons, like powerjack and the thermal thruster. "Pyrolanders" uses pyroland cosmetics. "Soldieryro": shotguns. "MVM": uses gas passer. "SLAPPER": HOT HAND ONLY.
I’m currently a learning combo Pyro. I can’t do anything crazy but I can pull of some basic moves.
I double as a pybro/engi, the way pybros of our kind are made is simple, we play engi, get sick of spies.. and well...now you got a pybro!

Depends on the items i have, i am usually a pybro, but i was a pyro shark and a mixer once
You forgot the no escape pyro, if you get burnt by their flame thrower, expect to be hunted down, they normally start to kill you by burning you, air blasting, then using their shotgun or secondary to finish you off, but here’s the thing, you probably won’t be finished off, so you know what they do, they do what they tried to do before, but this time..

Pybro will always be my favorite, works with my more defensive playstyle, and being an Engineer main I can understand the power and value of a team mate that will always have my back.
I’m a half w m1 and half pybro. I chill around the engi base stopping people from pushing, but if the opurtunity comes I might w m1 the enemy’s if they attack the base.
I also play like a pybro near the medic reflecting rockets away and making sure no scouts or sky’s kill them.

I myself love to w m3 pyro. I rarely do some m4 and m5 but its only when I'm in a good mood.
I feel like there should have been an "All-rounder" pyro, a pyro who is decent or even good at most if not all things pyro, but doesn't excel at any single aspect of pyro. So, just a pretty good pyro in almost all situations
