- The Vatican has issued new norms for discerning "alleged supernatural phenomena", but without leaving bishops with the authority to declare mystical phenomena as heaven-sent. How will this impact not only the ongoing discernment of apparitions but all supernatural workings in the Church?
All of us Catholics who wants to remain Solid Catholics must all go on our knees, beg the Lord and pray that we all remain faithful to Our Lady, to Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church until the end! Viva Cristo Rey! Ave Maria! St. Joseph, Terror of Demons, pray for us!

I’m a pretty faithful Catholic. That being said, I’ve been to Medjugorje twice. The fruits I’ve experienced (many miraculous) are far too profound and numerous for me to ever deny Medjugorje is authentic.

Very interesting this should happen right before "The Warning" may happen. Now Bishops can't confirm that it's supernatural when it happens.
Interesting and troubling. The believers may have to 'ignore' the Vatican if this occurs. In other words, if the Vatican comes out and says that the Warning was not a supernatural event, and indeed was explainable as a matter of nature, then those of us who believe will have to spread the truth and risk being punished for our faith. Essentially, this document takes the "Yes, this is//was supernatural" away and places a nihil obstat that we cannot 'believe' can be interpreted as approval.
I suspect many of them will be among the people that will pass away out of fright anyway, so that's that 😂
Because after all these years the Vatican comes out now with this approval/non approval document on the Super Natural, I personally believe that we are getting closer to "The Warning ". Stay the course!

Exorcist, Fr. Jim Blount, said that it would be sinful to ignore supernatural messages. We must discern that they are true, but must not ignore messages from Heaven.
When you take away the supernatural away from our Catholic Church you are doing such evil , These messages are sacred to our faith , but believe me God will send a supernatural miracle that all men will know it’s from God .
Both Pope Francis and Cardinal Fernandez have no background in being scholars in languages nor familiar w/English. Declaring that blessing cannot be denied for "couples"can be interpreted as approval of their UNION whether moral or immoral. That direct identification of persons as a "couple" does include their UNION and here seems not just being used as a counting or a number. As now clarified by Pope Francis that blessing is for everyONE is clear - and has always been the belief of the Church! The question is - so what was the need for that confusing "declaration" by Pope Francis as written up by Cardinal Fernandez?
Now comes this declaration of seeming advice for hesitancy about, even dissuasion, belief in supernatural manifestations. Yes, it is good to not be gullible or superstitious - but are we being encouraged to be nonbelieving rather than discerning? The first is to be pure relativists or skeptics, rather than sincere seekers of Truth that is God. Nuances are part of the use of language - and not being careful of one's choice of words can lead to misunderstanding, even physical war and spiritual schism. The gleeful architect of the TowerS of Babel has always been the Devil.

The wording should have never said "couple". He should ask people individually to come in for any blessing and the priest should be encouraging repentance.

Blessing a couple suggests approval and permission. When a guy asks a woman's father for his "blessing," he is asking for approval/permission. And the Pope knows that.
Well never ask for a blessing yourself especially if you are in sin because clearly you will be asking the priest for approval. You theology is whack and goes against what the church has always taught regarding blessings!

Francis sowed so much confusion and counter-intuitive "papal fiats" that his words (for me) are in permanent suspension. I disagree. We have personal discernment. Never blindly follow a pastor, bishop or Pope. Love and respect them but also learn what heaven expects of us. Discern always. You are responsible for your soul and relationship with the Holy Trinity, not any other person in the church.

May I just say that in Revelations , the letters to the Churches, speaks of one saying this: 'they have a form of Godliness but lack the Power therof'. Is this the Catholic Church? My local parish even gives a handout to children after 1st Communion that lists the Fruits of the Spirit as The Gifts of the Spirit! The Church has glossed over every gift of the Spirit

If someone is seeking conversion they shouldn't be appearing with their source of mortal sin and asking for a blessing over it. If I'm trying to stop drinking I'm not showing up with a bottle of vodka and asking the priest to bless it.
Going to CONFESSION is the answer, not blessing my sin.
We should focus more on changing, meaningfully, developing a true relationship with God. Fear based worship, is not a relationship developed on true faith, love and trust. We must, however pray for the church, our priests and the pope, as we should for the whole world.

So, how is it that Blessed Carlo Acutis was declared a candidate for canonization yesterday if the second miracle was not supernatural? What about saints going forward? Are these new norms only for our Blessed Mother? What about apparitions of Our Lord?
These norms apply to apparitions or locutions, the procedure for sainthood is more complex and was not touched apparently.
Just stick to Sacred Tradition and don't worry about Francis constantly contradicting himself. The pope is not a divine being, and his whims and contradictory remarks are not "magisterial".
Honestly, I don't get why anyone should be elevated to Saint and people praying to them. The next step after Sainthood is buying plastic cards and statues. It could be seen as a way of making money..I was shocked some while back to read that the Pope was concerned about the amount of money behind some people promoting their cause of Sainthood. I didn't even realise that these media machines existed.There is only one mediator between God and us according to the Bible and its Jesus Christ.Take humble Mother Teresa, I doubt she would ever want to be elevated to Sainthood. All these saints are a distraction to keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and Him.alone. Jesus is our healer!
2 years ago I was taken up in spirit. Where Jesus cast his Stone toward the Earth and he said this is the most evilest generation in existence... And hurl the stone toward the Earth. Then another visitation he came and he said the tribulation has begun. Our church only one mass sat and sun , Tuesday and Wednesday, Friday God help. I miss mass everyday. I try to say one to five rosaries a day.
