Jay! Cute as hell, smart, nerdy, and writes my favorite Sloan songs.
I always imagine Jay having a super and colossal record collection, and this seems proof. Easily my favorite member of Sloan.
He was once on this kids show in Halifax on Sunday's called Switchback with 100'z of records or something like this! He was super young, maybe the age of his record store days.
oh he does.. ive seen it
Yay! I love Sloan and I always love Jay segments because of his music collection
I love Jay, him and his records astound me
This is my favorite WIMB. Nice guy. Unpretentious. Part of a great and under appreciated band.
new york state of mind is one of the greatest songs ever written. the quick were a great band as well...
Jay's a master at writing those chugging songs.
Why are people always embarrassed to like Billy Joel?? He's great. One of the best songwriters of the 70's and 80's. I guess people are just sheep, afterall....
Allen's town is one my fave songs
Safest music ever. Never pushed anything. Mom tunes.
I ave jay on my fb love Sloan greatband
Odd. Billy Joel was my fave singer songwriter until I discovered Elvis Costello.
love sloan, interesting dude
Turnstyles is a great collection.
New York State of Mind is great. Drop dead, haters. Saw Sloan at Desert Fest at Pioneertown. Nice guys, fellow Canucks too.
I'm surprised Jay doesn't already own every Ringo Starr album
I'm guessing that record store might be Taz Records.
It was Ol' Dan's
oh hell wrong Jay Ferguson I thought that was the Jay Ferguson from Spirit JoJo gunne
love that 1979 song Thunder Island with Joe Walsh..
Jay shares a name with another fantastic rocker
Why does everyone apologize for liking Billy Joel, yet simultaneously always give Elton John a pass? Billy didn't need a Bernie Taupin. Plus Billy's melodies were often stronger than Elton's. I dig Sloan, but hate indie-elitism and pop-snobbery. Like what you like!
That's Fergie Baby!!!
