He has been there in the good times, naughty times and the moments when
"certain young Royals should be ashamed of themselves!"
The contents of this book are undoubtedly explosive, revealing the complete transcripts of those taped telephone calls.
In this episode, we explore the secrets of Chapter Four!

I’m always reminded of how Diana pretended to love Scotland, hiking, the outdoors etc during the “courtship” to get Charles to believe they liked the same thing and afterwards how she makes it clear she hated it all.
She believed when being married, she could change him into the Prince she wanted.. She wasn't the first and won't be the last one... But it just doesn't work this way😉.
Scotland is a beautiful place.
@patdixon-lj7qs Diana had a different opinion
Yet Charles took the flack for 14 years sadly.
I read that Diana set up the rumour of the train and blond story and it was that that made Phillip tell Charles drop or marry her . Not damage her reputation because some people were thinking it was Diana.
And yes I think that she was in love with being Princess of Wales and whatever else that entailed
Wendy Berry's Housekeeper's Diary was the first time I ever understood Charles's situation. First time he got my sympathy - in 2024.
Oh God! This books gets getter and better! So so juicy 🧃… 😂
Sorry to say, but I have never been fond on Camilla and Charles and now I think I despise them…. 🤢
Great book @TheVintageRead 🎖️
Same. She was made into a saint and she used that. People still think that of her.
I’m quite disgusted by her behavior towards the children, good king Harry sure set up Harry. And he never did get any consequences for his horrid actions.
William and Catherine took time to know eachother.
They were friends first then they fall in love and took time to bond.
William took his time because he knew his mother behind closed doors! Totally differentbto meeting the public Ive read for 40 years.
Makes me admire William even more, for his wisdom, in taking his time, in getting to know, the real Catherine.
@winnykooyman4851 There was true love between them, much different than how it was with his parents. Diana had nothing in common with Charles, whereas Catherine and William were friends before they fell in love and enjoy many activities together. But making sure that she knew what she was getting into, and taking their time was also very important.
It just confirms what I have been saying for years. Diana was aware of what she was taking on but didn’t realise the emotional toll that it would have on her. She had the same type of marriage that she had witnessed her parents had. In my opinion.
I think she got a lot of flack as a baby. Her brother was dead in a few hours then the mother got pregnant virtually immediately as daddy obviously wanted a son and heir. So he must have hated that she was a girl. Can imagine the trauma both mother and three daughters suffered at the hands of a not nice man. Charles was obviously the indulged son. Which comes out all too clearly now
@ If Diana was alive now and could see the changes that the Queen made, I.e. Charlotte in line to the throne by her position in the family and not pushed down because she’s a girl, I believe she would be thrilled.
She thought that it would be like one of those Romance Novels she always read and that Charles would fall madly in love with her and give her his undivided attention , doting on her constantly
@magicmaster-167
Diana was her father’s favorite.
@bridiesmith5110
Diana’s father beat her mother so, no, she did not have the same type of marriage her parents had. Instead she chose a man that avoided conflict and who would give in rather than deal with her emotional abuse.
Sounding like something from The Guilded Age.. it’s said the Spencer family where ambitious..the grandmother was the one steering all this.
Diana told Lady Colin Campbell that she had lovers before she married Charles so she couldn’t have been a virgin. Details of this are in the book Lady Colin Campbell wrote about Diana.
Yes! And she said, "but I've kept myself tidy". Meaning she had been discrete and could count on her lovers keeping silent!
SHE WAS NOT A VIRGIN. Lady C confirmed the knowledge with Diana’s help. The marriage was arranged by Lady Fermoy (Diana’s grandmother and lady in waiting to the Queen Mother) and the Queen Mother.
@@DavinaWilson58…Diana collaborated on that book until Lady C refused to write what she knew were lies about Charles and THAT was when Diana went to Andrew Morton to write “ Her true story “ .
Now a comparison of THOSE TWO BOOKS Shauna would blow the lid off of ALL misconceptions regarding this whole “ kit and caboodle “…..PLEASE ASK SHAUNA ….my comments get deleted a lot .🙏🙏🙏❤🏴🇬🇧
Yes I read that in Lady Campbell book too
Lady Colin says a lot of bs. Why would diana tell her that? They werent friends
What annoys me the most in this story is that till today so many people see Diana as the innocent girl, who knew nothing of what she was getting into. She wanted to be Princess of Wales and therefore pursued Charles. But at the end I think she couldn't neither imagine beforehand and afterwards handle the stress, and pressure and emotional toll that this role would bring and the fact that there was and still is another woman in Charles life. In that regard she probably really was much too young and unstable in her character unfortunately. And Charles needed a suitable wife and didn't think much ahead either I guess. So tragic this whole affair.
Just like markle
They covered up for her the way they did for harry
With no pressure
At 19 she was emotionally, and intellectually immature to understand, although she knew she wanted a prince and set out to get this one. Most unfortunate turn of events. However, we wouldn't have Prince William without the pairing of his parents, so there's that 😊
I have never thought it was love between Diana and Charles, I have always thought it was infatuation on Diana's part. I recall one of Diana's school friends used to talk about Diana having a photo of Charles next to her bed at school and was frequently heard to say "I'm going to marry this man." Likely Diana was in love with an idea, rather than in love with the man.
Shauna , there is no doubt Meghan was a full blown stalker of the RF …. I’m sure she read every book that was written I can just hear Harry “that’s exactly how my mum felt” ugh ! I do believe real feelings got in the way for Diana & Charles, thank you Shauna !
I understood that the two grandmothers were the main players in organising this marriage. Lady Fermoy (Diana’s grandmother) and the Queen Mother were friends and between them organised and encouraged their relationship. Sad situation all round.
I really think you are right about the feelings getting in the way of the arrangement! What a fascinating perspective in this book! It also makes me support the idea of Meghan’s calculated plan to ensnare Harry with references to his mother’s history!
If she really loved Charles then why did she have so many affairs
Always knew it was an arranged marriage, and Diana was the breeder for the future royals. Have to say if any bloke had made the comment Charles made on his engagement about whatever that means, refering to being in love, I would not have stayed around. In saying that, Diana's reply, of cause, is hardly convincing! Enjoying the read Shauna, cheers❤
If Diana had known Charles better she would have know exactly what he meant by that.
i thought he was being philosophical but it backfired, uncomfortable with such a pithy question. he should have just said ' of course' as she did.
Good morning from North Carolina. It sounds like Charles entered into the marriage because he needed a wife and was being pressured into it by his family and if it’s true Diana was the 4th proposal he was tired of the whole thing. Diana was 19 years old and had stars in her eyes, so I don’t believe they entered into it with the same idea of a contractual marriage.
Diana knew that it was an arranged marriage.
In a 1980 letter Charles wrote to a former girlfriend, he intimates he is being pressured to marry and sounds none to enthused about it.
arranged marriages can work.
Shauna, I personally think in the beginning, there was a willingness to make it work on both sides because a royal marriage is as public as it is private and shapes how the public view the monarchy which fact Charles was keenly aware of and Spencer family had close ties with the Monarchy. The King's reaction after her death and indeed how he relates to people of all walks of life paints a different picture the one that is generally believed as told in this book.
Wow this really sheds some light on them both! Could Diana have also had a bit of competition w her sister Sara? You couldn’t catch him but I can!” Kind of thing going on?
What an eye opening book, full of insights that make sense of their relationship & a great analysis by you, Shauna!
Loving this book…. Everything makes so much more sense after listening to this. Can’t wait for Friday 🎉
Lady Colin Campbell said that Diana always wanted to be the princess of Wales.
I don't know, she loved him more than he loved her.
True. She told her classmates that that was what she wanted to do with her life when she was 15 in a discussion for a school project.
I believe this. I watched a documentary about Diana. She said to the journalists something like she knew she was very special ( being the princess of Wales) when she was teenager?
@@Jojopangpang She knew that she was meant to do something important, so she needed to "keep herself tidy." We all thought that she meant that she stayed a virgin, but she wasn't
IMO Diana needed male attention to validate herself. Despite the pragmatic ‘arrangement’ of their marriage I think she then wanted Charles’ constant admiration. Her childhood family dysfunction made a lasting impact on her psyche. Their initial married passion could not survive the pressures of real life. As history moves on it reveals a deeper insight into their relationship. Diana as ‘victim’ is far too simplistic and ignores the determination she had to become Princess of Wales.
💯💯💯
Probably because her father didn't want her, a third daughter, especially after the son had died. When Charles was born he probably just doted on him and ignored the girls. Her sisters were quite a bit older. Google her childhood, it's quite revealing.
BPD most likely. She was chasing an inordinate amount of attention and affection her whole life and had problems in all her relationships.
I think this is the best book so far! But I think I say that of every book. 🧐 Thank you Shauna. ❤
Relationships are always a complicated business. Two totally unsuited people, trying to put together a marriage under huge public scrutiny, with nothing in common - not even their purpose and approach to supporting the Queen. Diana had a childish, needy personality and I suspect she had a bit of a Harlequin romance sort of vision of what life as the Princess of Wales would be.
Diana had No clue?? Aren't there Reports that she was bored by the briefings and didn't want to get them???
The look on Diana's face when Charles said "whatever in love means" doesn't suggest that she wanted or expected an arrangement.
That was a red flag but she wanted to marry him. The start of a loveless marriage.
They had hardly spent any time together. On what basis did she think he was in love with? He always seemed completely aloof with her.
I think she was embarrassed.
@@antheamaybin3298 I think so too.
I think she thought she was so pretty he would fall in love and that’s why she got so angry when he kept his mistresses going. It wasn’t just Camilla but also Kanga.
I can still recall my mother popping her head around the door to say they had announced the engagement. And as she walked off her next words were "I hope she knows what she's getting into."
And as is with my mother-she was right. Charles was told to find a virgin and it was a fatal part of the decision making.
@TraceyBurton-gs6jm hi Tracey, he wasn't actually required to marry a virgin..thats a bit of urban myth. Rather a girl without an obvious past. Diana wasn't a virgin when they married, she'd had three boyfriends, one of whom was the James Gilby of Squidgygate fame. They were all aristocratic and not likely to 'kiss and.tell'
I can't wait. I found this
chapter enlightening. No matter how you look at it, the one thing that stood out is that Diana and the royal family were aware that PC was madly in love with Camilla at the time of the marriage.
The queen was very much aware of the hold Mrs Parker Bowles had on Charles, and they were desperate for him to get married for more than one reason.
Anyone who has read, Palace Confidential by Tina Brown, will understand how desperate the situation became at that time.
And to top it off, the Prince was very much contented with the way his life was but he had his duty to fulfill to provide an heir.
According to Lady C Diana told her a different story about their courtship. Supposedly Charles did love Diana and his friends and family said they didn't think she was a good match but Charles ignored them. Diana wasn't a virgin and they were quite hot and heavy during their courtship.
Unsustainable romantic love!! Both were at fault in my view, through no intentioned faults of their own personas.
Tks Shauna- i look forward to listening to you all week.
The spencer‘s parading their daughters in front of Charles is almost likeAnn bolin
*Boleyn* 😊
Diana was influenced by Barbara Cartland and her "sweep me off my feet, happily ever after little princess" tosh. Then reality kicked in.
@moonbeep641 Yup. I've said that many times. I read Barbara Cartland when I was 14 , but I grew out of her novels when I was 15 and discovered a book called "Shawna" by Kathleen Woodwiss. That was an eye-opener. Eventually, I grew out of her, too, by the time I finished high school. I used to think that I was naive and emotionally immature, but Diana had me beat hands down
Always live you sharing the books. Wonderful! Thank you
She was not a virgin, she had a number of lovers. One stood her up once and she poured a mixture of flour an water on his car. The men were visited and warned not to talk to the press or anyone about their relationship with Diana.
But were they her age or similar,? She was a kid, an uneducated one
Yes. I just finished the Whitaker book which is interesting but I think that he had a pretty good crush on Diana and believed whatever she told him. According to Lady C's "The Real Diana", which I'm reading right now, Diana was very aware of this and called him a "fat red tomato". According to Lady C Diana definitely had several lovers before Charles and when she moved into Buckingham palace she and Charles were basically living together. Her book pretty much lines up with Sally Bedell Smith's "Diana in Search of Herself". And, like Tom Bower, Lady C has never been sued and she's very careful about verifying the information she receives.
How would you know that. Also she,was 18 when they started dating and was in an all girls boarding school until 17 so even if she had sex it could not have been many guys
@@magicmaster-167 it was quite normal to get married
quite early, not as many women went to uni then. aristocrats were expected to marry well. there used to be debutants balls where they held parties to meet suitable husbands. they thought diana would be suitable for andrew. all on the lookout for rich men with prospects.
They would have come forward by now if that was true .
Good (early) morning Shauna, from Southern California. The single solitary benefit of waking at 3:00 am is having you and your book to keep me company.
Great book and review. I was obsessed with Diana and the Royal family. But eyes are being opened on how things really were. I agree they didn’t expect to fall in love. And then it was too late. Thank God for William being born first. Thank you for your channel . 🇺🇸
Kia Ora from across the ditch. Good read.
Very interesting but I think James Whittaker has conjured some of this in his head. Do people believe that Prince Charles and she were to go into an ‘arrangement’ that he would be able to sleep with Camilla?! The author also believed that Diana was a shy virgin,(!) who would willingly accept the ‘arrangement’. I don’t believe that Charles would enter into such a marriage blessed by the Archbishop in Westminster Cathedral. He takes these things seriously and most now believe that he didn’t return to Camilla’s bed until the marriage had completely broken down.
Aristocrats and Royals all the centuries married for business or political reasons and had their partners on the side once the heirs were produced.
@lynsmith277 I always heard that Charles broke it off with Camilla once he a n d Diana were formally engaged. He was a decent man and very religious, even if he wasn't the most social guy or the warmest. He was more of an introvert who preferred solitude, not realizing that others were different and needed the company of other human beings. Particularly, his wife needed her husband. He grew up spoiled and indulged and had a lot to learn.
@@Rumkitty2000 You could say the same of Diana, she wanted someone to give her attention seemingly 24/7.
@ruthie7 Oh yeah, totally! All her lovers said that she e was very needy and demanding. Both James Hewitt and Haznat Khan said that no matter what you did, it was never enough for her. It was like she had this huge hole inside her, in her heart that no one on earth could fill. 😪 she was extremely emotionally disturbed and seemed to have a whole host of psychological problems. I have a copy of this Vanity Fair article written by Tina Brown, that covered the last year or so before she died, and i she spoke about her relationship with Hasnat Khan. Diana was not dealing with reality. Do you want the link yo the article?
Diana's sister's nicknamed her "Duch" because they were convinced she would marry Andrew from a very early age.
What's the commenting between her nickname and Andrew?
@@Rumkitty2000 thought she would become a duchess if married andrew.
@@Rumkitty2000maybe Duchess ?
They call her Duch after 1970's Disney's Aristocrat movie character blue eyed cat name duchess
@@krishnavyas313 where did you hear that? never seen it mentioned, her sisters teased her about being suitable for andrew, a duchess.
Wow! This a fresh perspective for me. I don’t think I realized Diana knew the depth of feelings Charles had for Camilla…before they were married!
I think of my 19 year old self…I was horrifically immature. I’m sure I thought I was in real love, with boyfriend at that time.
Thank the Lord I had no interest in marrying young!!
When Charles said " Whatever 'in love' means" he added "Put your own interpretation on it". I agree - awkward, not used to talking about his personal life or feelings and Diana giggled when he said it - but what a stupid question! Clever cutting of the video in later years shows Diana looking wistfully off to the side as though devastated. After all these years, with so many opinions, the truth has been distorted. Reporters who followed the couple in their early married years said Charles was smitten and proud and couldn't keep his hands off Diana. If they weren't in love, they were in lust and neither lasts long in the grand scheme of things if you don't grow together. The marriage didn't work and there are 2 sides of the story - in this case Diana's narrative and the Press's narrative - I don't think Charles's side has ever been expressed in any great detail. We'll never really know the whole truth but I remember one of the books you read said Diana was quite offended when someone suggested the marriage was arranged...I'm just pleased that William broke the mould and he chose his life partner wisely and in the end, so did Charles.
I 100% agree Shauna. I'm of the opinion that this book gets to the nitty gritty and truth of the situation. x
Mr Whittaker, your choice of phrase and the silence between your words is very deft🫡 It always surprises me that ppl forget the significance of Lady Kanga. Loving this Shauna. Maybe Kitty Kelly's Palace Papers? ❤
The late Mr Whittaker.
According to Lady C Diana vamped Charles. The Spencer’s always desired a direct connection to the House of Windsor.
Marrying their children into royalty has been an obsession with the nobility for as long as kings and queens have existed. What is surprising is that there are still such families who pursue it as vigoursly in present times. Wonder who they are plotting to line up for George, Charlotte and Louis?
Agree. Its also the reason I think that it took a while for Catherine to be accepted, because she is not nobility. I can imagine male friends of William thinking he should marry one of their sisters. Thankfully, William took his time and its clear to see the love between him and Catherine. As you say, it will be interesting to see how it works out for the children - not sure if I will live long enough to see that, or at least all of them.
Wow just looking at pictures of Anna Wallace and there is quite a resemblance to Diana in a lot of them.
Good afternoon, everyone. Almost 2 o clock here in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Yeah, you cannot control your heart. ❤️🌹🐝
Glad you still call it port Elizabeth.

Crickey! What a corker of a Chapter Shauna.... Game of Thrones indeed...
Awesome read for a Friday night, thanks Shauna. 😘💐
Fact is that Charles &Camilla belong to eachother and Diana was much too young to marry. She couldn't handle the situation.
She was 20. Her mother 18 when she married 30 year old Spencer her granny at her age married her 45 year old grandfather..its what ambitious women do.
Maybe too immature to marry. I loved Diana, but she needed to see a bit of the world before marrying Charles. Things might have worked out better. IMO.
@@Judith-wb3jlif she had BPD, and I believe she did, nothing would've worked much until after she was 40 or so, and maybe not even then. When she passed, the men Diana was seeing were a bit sick of her antics, and people were starting to catch on to her. BPD people mature much much later. They have little self awareness and even less awareness of the effect of their actions on others.
i don't think it was love, rather a challenge and wanting to be loved
I thought Diana did have “boyfriends “ before him who being well bred never spoke of it.
It was also Raine who put Althorpe back on a sound financial footing. I wonder if keeping Diana and Sarah to limited visits was because, they might complain about their step mother which could slow down their father's rec9very.
Reckon the Spencers needed cash for the upkeep of their mansion, and Diana was a sacred cow . Family was thrilled and encouraged her that she was the luckiest girl in the world. That is the reason there was no courting period. A few meetings and phone calls about the wedding Possibility thought when they were alone, she would make him fall in love with her. It was always happy endings in the books. Everything would have worked but Camela kept chasing him. Parker Bowles approved the engagement
Of course he did. Everyone were to gain from this arrangement. Camella's sisters. Her son and daughter. This wedding had to go ahead. The tea towels and mugs had all been printed!
Thank you so much for sharing these books and good reads with us Shauna. I always look forward to seeing what gem you will gift us with on your next read. well done. thank you.
You are so welcome!
It's definitely fascinating. What a web!
Hey, Shauna...At least one story shows that Diana was not an innocent virgin when she married. Before the marriage, she had a relationship with a chap who dumped her. She stalked him mercilessly, and eventually poured some substance over his beloved sports car that ruined the paint job. A lot of what Whittaker says rings true, but like anyone who made money by writing books about the Charles/Diana relationship, he had an agenda. At the time he was writing, nobody wanted to hear a word against Diana. Lady C has said that Charles and Camilla did not begin their second affair (the first was before his relationship with Diana) until Charles became aware of Diana's affairs. Camilla was resigned to the fact that Andrew Parker Bowles was a womanizer, so while comforting each other about their faithless spouses, one thing led to another. Will anyone ever know the truth?
Di revealed timelines in the Settelen videotapes that concurs with that of Charles, Lady C and others on the ground.
Love the book, can't wait for the next chapter!❤❤❤❤❤
Fascinating insight into the almost industrious approach of the Spencers to lodge one of their own into the Royal family proper. Aristocrats just think differently- I can’t imagine doing that but then the prospect of a suburban Australian kid like me marrying anyone aristocratic in England was so remote I can’t relate to how they think.
At 16, Diana was put on the viewing block for the prince. Grooming is nothing new.
Hey Shauna.
Why can't I hit the "like" button?
I don't think "love" was actually a great feature for either of them.
HE was doing his duty and SHE, as only an 19yo can, convinced herself that she was going to be the romatic heroine of her very own Barbara Cartland novel
My phone won't hit like if it gets too hot
Interesting, since Diana's father's second marriage connected the Spencers with Barbara Cartland. Cartland also really painted the picture of the pair as much like her romantic stories. (Personal advice: only read Barbara Cartland is you want a laugh. The woman would write scenes where the heroine would breathily say one or two words before having "..." in the quote. It's like love makes her have to gasp for breath every few seconds.
@nancyjay790 Di herself said she lived on those novels growing up.

Got my cup of tea at the ready.
Meghan has also said things that were attributed to Catherine's friends about her and William. Even spaghetti bolanaise and roast chicken. She studied knowingly or unknowingly multiple women marrying in.
Charles Spencer did say in his latest book A Very Private School that he received a little radio from his god mother the late Queen 👍❤️

Loving the book.
Hi Shauna, I think you might have misinterpreted James' line...."they both knew what they wanted and went after it without considering the consequences " as being a business arrangement. I think, based on all previous evidence, that they had separate expectations, and pursued those without discussion or knowledge of the other party. Yes, Diana wanted to be Princess of Wales, and in her own words "I chased him until he caught me". Charles saw her as jolly, (his words), at home with his family and with his world and a possible wife, with no obvious past ( she wasn't a virgin went they married...she had dated James Gilby and two others previously, and according to Charles valet , as you read out I think, Diana and Charles had spent a number of nights together at Highgrove._ as pressure on him grew" .......A transactional arrangement? Yes, most certainly but I don't think the terms were bluntly discussed and agreed to....hence the hate when it went bad.
I agree. Not a business arrangement. Diana wanted her husband's love and not just the title. Consider her expression when he said, "whatever in love means". Heartbreaking.
@@catwhiskers1919 she was pulling faces also as she said "of course" and rolled her eyes. Charles was responding to the fatuous 'in love' comnent

ABSOLUTELY riviting .
You know how Meghan likes to plagiarize other people‘s works. I’ve been reading the book along with you and I about fell off my seat when I read the section about no one teaching Dianna anything. It was almost like Meghan took that section verbatim.
It is so obvious!
The difference is that Diana’s training was overlooked as she’d been in Royal circles since she was born. They didn’t realise the struggle to transition to her huge popularity because no one predicted it. Meghan had plenty of guidance, paid for her own etiquette lessons like queen Mary of Denmark but unlike Mary, Meghan is often loose with the truth.
Meghan wanted to monopolize Harry and make him feel solely responsible for her happiness. She wouldn’t accept help, because she had Harry. She also, wanted all her life, to be a princess.
In spite of the fact HMQE2 sent her own valued Lady in Waiting to help her( refused -- ‘Harry can teach me what I need to know!’) Sophie ( Wessex) also offered help and also Camilla, same response or none. Just waiting for the excuse to leave and use it to show what a victim she was!🙄🥱🤨😖👎🇦🇺😊
Hello Shauna and everyone from the Uk 😊

I really enjoy your Diana voice. 👍
Of COURSE it was an agreement or "arrangement" - that's the history of ALL dynasties! I agree that they both did fall in love with each other - perhaps not deeply, just enough to create heartache...
These "arrangements" are, in part, how the wealthy and elite families kept, increased or even saved their fortunes...
Hi Shauna, looking forward to this next chapter. I love your Diana and Charles voices 😄. You really do a great take on them 😅

Great to have you here! 👋
Clearly the Spencers had been desperate for the union & it is so disappointing that Charles was pushed into a corner by the Country/expectation on choosing a wife. I'm so glad that William was sensible enough to marry the woman he loved & had support from his family to do this. M must have spent months/years reading every book, every interview & compiling notes etc. It is beyond mind boggling the depths with which she appears to have researched them, all to then pretend she didn't even know anything.

So Fun! Thank you!
Shauna, I could honestly listen to you read all day! There is something so soothing and a wonderful tone and contrast to your voice that really calms me (snarky snippets has the same effect). I have health conditions that really affect my sleep, so I often listen to you before falling asleep ( please don't take this the wrong way). I could honestly listen to you read a phone book!. As for the negative comments that you have received regarding this book choice, I just don't get it. Firstly, it is once a week and solely about that, so if you don't like a book choice, simply don't watch/ listen. Secondly, it is YOUR channel, so you have every right to select a book that you and in turn the vast majority of us will enjoy. Probably my favourite so far has been The Housekeeper's Diary. However for similar reasons, of behind the scenes first hand experiences, this book is for me on the same level. It is books like this that give us other aspects, experiences and opinions of our Royal family, that we would never get. Even though the words written in each book never change, we can ourselves interpret them differently and form our own opinions, and that's why writing is a beautiful (or sometimes disastrous) artform. I look forward to next week. X
I always thot that Diana, although she knew there was a thing between Charles and Camilla, was confident that Ch would soon fall totally for her because she was so much better looking ....that's wot I thot anyway
That's an interesting thought. I've often wondered if Diana would have been perceived as so saintly if she wasn't so beautifully photogenic. People are often willing to overlook the bad in favour of the beautiful features.
@@N_for_NellieThat is my opinion as well. It’s like the Sussex sugars, so bowled over by Henry’s missus’ looks they think she is almost angelic🙄🥱🤨👌🇦🇺👋
