I have done duckunders in Brazilian jiu-jitsu when I did wrestling before Brazilian jiu-jitsu and it seems like the takedown I have most success with against lower belts and higher belt colors in Brazilian jiu-jitsu seems to be the double leg takedown.
I'm a brown belt from Brazil and wrestling is not very popular around here (that's slowly changing). I've learned the duck under from Joe Breza in his YT channel and it changed so much my game. Wrestling is growing so much in me that once a week i drive 1 hour just to do one class of wrestling, i've loving it
@@-gz9lu yeah I don’t see why u can’t learn the duck under it’s not leg locks or to complicated, he showed how to do it so well. I’m definetly gonna be trying to learn that
Yo Nicky Rod, if you actually read the comments, like this comment, and then give your brother a damn haircut! He keeps coifing his hair in mid tutorial😅
hey, i had 2 questions... 1st question: i want to do carry workouts (for example farmer carries) and i do a push pull legs workout split... but i dont know which muscle group carries are clasified as so i need help on which days i can put carries in a push pull legs split... can you help me with that please? and 2nd question... I train strength exercises but i want to do isometric strength, cardio, grip strength, and explosivness... but i dont know where to put them in my program... do you have recomendations on which days i should do them in a push pull legs program or a upper lower split program?
Jay Rod: when I was a blue belt? You mean, last week?
he got his purple in 2022 bro or those trials might’ve even been in 2021

me, a black belt: *shamefully taking notes on stuff i should already know*
best part about being a blackbelt, you are better at learning than ever
Great stuff. I'd like to see more of this content. It's extremely helpful.
Just got my blue today
Congrats brother, your hard work is paying off 🎉
I wrestled for about 3-4 years in school. The duck under has been so valuable in my jiujitsu journey. Great technique great instruction.

Thanks again for these free mini instructionals, they are awesome
Great J! You guys should do “Road to JT match with N Ryan” a vlog of his day maybe 2,3 episodes
I'm a white belt so I ain't gonna bother learning it
😂great attitude
It won't stick anyway. I don't think I remembered anything from white belt except for tap when being choked....And even that I spazzed out at
yea dude that’s definitely purple belt shit
You’ll be gone before getting your blue belt I was already looking at what purple belts are doing a half year into being a white belt.

love the first take down, did it all the time when i wrestled
He should show these at least once full speed
fantastic details on the takedown. does this still work if I'm ugly? asking for a friend
Beautiful & simple. It doesn’t matter , indeed. Aum & Oss
Really good instructional, did some mental reps and hit it in comp 👌😂
Duck under is a good setup to catch a te guruma if you dont relinquish the claw grip. Good shit, J Rod
Excellent Instructional by Jungle Prince Mowgli.
@3:08 CRACK!
4:13 too
God it was so loud. Thought it was the only disturbed by this
good to mix the personality in with the technique like this vid, technique obviously dry so this is a nice way to lighten it up and keep it engaging
Very clear useful instructional 💯 Thankyou
we need more takedown vids by jay!
Jay Rod with best technique tutorials at B Team -- not a mumbly marblemouthed spazz like the rest (not counting Kreeg, of course)
Feel better now?
@@user-sk4nt5bm5r i mean, i know i do
@@user-sk4nt5bm5r sick, bro
@@user-sk4nt5bm5r nah he’s actually right
How long has Jrod been training, he has one of the quickest ascensions I have seen to an elite competitor.

Blue belt? Never heard of her.
"As i lower my level *bones cracking and echos*"
was that Jay's knee at 3:11??
I believe it was. This sport is hard on the knees
Jay Rod said he was showing a take down and submission. Where's the blue belt submission?
I’m just here for the mariachi music

CARDOSO GOZO PODEROSO
3rd. Bronze
Belts are funny, he could have smoked most normal black belts as a blue belt.
It really does highlight how useless belts are as a general indicator of skill
Most black belts don't train for competition twice a day 5 to 6 days a week.
@@cinattraso them both being blue belts doesn’t make sense lmao
first :)
