YES, it is. The s pen feels a little fragile, specially the tip. I've had mine for a year and I had to buy a new s pen already. Still, it's like 25 bucks so it's still worth it. It's really comfortable to use and is not slow at all

EMR pens should work but sticking to samsung s-pens are probably the safer call
