The historical perspective comments are GREAT! Please continue to include them in the videos.
thanks, I'm glad that you enjoy them.
I'm a fan of the historic context. Short, concise, etc. I think focusing on your reference photos of the vehicles themselves, and the landscape/environment the vehicle was working in is useful.
Thanks, Jesse. Appreciate your feedback.
Great video and a fantastic idea to include some historical background in the beginning. This is missing from most modelling channels (with a very few exceptions) and makes the experience so much richer and more educational. Please continue with this approach if you can. Many thanks!
Manos, thank you very much. I'm glad that you enjoyed the historical perspective.
Underrated Channel ! your channel should be more known for modelers !
I do my best! Like and subscribe, tell your friends! Thanks for your very nice comment.
As a measure of solidarity and compassion as only a modeler can understand, I saw the PE tank fly off as you were painting and said, out loud, 'Ah f!ck'.
Appreciate your support!!!!
Historical context is always welcome. I recently discovered your channel and after the first video I watched, I subscribed. The pace of your videos is excellent.
John. Thanks for watching and thanks for your feedback and subscribing.
I really like the idea of having some historical facts about the model and its context. Keep it up you are doing an excellent job Rick!
I'm glad that you liked the history lesson, and really thank you for taking the time to watch the video and offer your comments.
I really enjoy the historical background.
Thanks
I really enjoy the historical background!
thanks, again!
Great series you have here Rick.
A little historical background showing the environment where the vehicle fought is always welcome.
I'm thinking about trying AK's real colours a try so watching this with interest.
Thank you for this series and sharing your knowledge.
Hi Steve. Thanks for taking your time to watch and comment, I appreciate it. As for the AK Real Colors, I find them wonderful to work with.
Fantastic video and model! Also, I do like the historical context.
Andrew...I very much appreciate your watching the video and taking time to let me know that you enjoyed it and the historical section. Thanks!
For me half of modelling is research, it adds provenance to the final piece. Your little history lesson is perfect and helps make sense of what your thoughts are.....loving these tutorials Rick, keep em coming!
Thank you! I'm glad that you are enjoying these episodes.
Another great vehicle and the information at the beginning is a great idea.
Hey Grant. Thanks so much. Take care.

Gracias, Amigo. I very much appreciate you tuning in.
Great looking 55
Thanks 👍
Awesome video! Enjoyed the historical context. Its always nice to learn something new!
Thank you, and thanks for your feedback.
Amazing skills... and kudos for explaining where the chipping would be, thank you 👏👏
I'm glad that you found it helpful. Thanks.
Have to say that the context part works well Rick, as said by others, a little history helps convey the appearance, you can imagine it be in that part of the world, not somewhere like Syria, which has a totally different kind of T55.
Thanks, Gary. I'm glad that you found the context valuable. Appreciate the feedback and your support.
Loved the historical intro! Technically not all history as you mentioned, it is still ongoing. But I think that's very cool to see not only the references but the entire inspiration and setting to really place things into context. I am the same way when it comes to paint colors- if it looks good enough, it probably is! Especially as exact color matches will instantly change during the weathering process and the scale effect tends to make things look darker than they really are (right?). Did I see that some areas of the chipping went down to the actual Mr Surfacer primer or even the raw PE? This has happened to me far too many times when the paint seems to come off all too well but I imagine if I was seeing that correctly, that it is nothing you can't address in the following steps? Good to know that while not ideal it's at least not uncommon to see.
Hey Chris. Yep, the chipping can be a little messy at times and, at least for me, sometimes a little unpredictable. It's not uncommon that the PE becomes exposed even with the best of efforts to protect and cover it. But, as you say, everything can be addressed in the following steps. Thanks for all of your support and great comments.
@@RickLawlerPropaganda happy to comment and support! Thanks for replying and for putting these weekly videos together. Nice to hear that little things like this happen to the pros too. The longer I'm at this, the more I find it is not so much avoiding any and all mistakes, but just learning how to solve problems and addressing issues as they may arise. Very few things are truly impossible to work with and correct- it was cool that you showed the footage of that fuel tank flying off under the airbrush pressure. I feel like plenty of tutorials would have cut that out but you made it into a funny clip and then of course shrugged it off glued it back on and kept on moving forward
These videos are great, Rick!
Thanks, Scott. I really appreciate your help and support.
Thumbs up on the history lesson.
thanks Greg, good to know that you liked it.
Yeah keep the history coming 😉👍
Thanks, Tim. It seems to be the consensus. Appreciate your taking time to let me know.
Another great video, keep going on
Thank you, Domingo.
I'm just glad we never went into Liberia. That would have sucked
Unfortunately, the entire region was/is struggling.
