thanks thanks thanks !!! fantastic content ! Verly useful for the community. Love the XJ40, X300,X308 Jag saloons ! At 7:16 I see there are two XJ40s on the street behind a mark III saloon. You are Jag specialists right?
Yeah, i broke my thermostat housing, the o ring got cought between the block and the housing on the bottom, didnt see that adn at one point it broke when i tightened it, damn me! Have to start all over
Great video, Jesse! Memory maker for you and your mother. I just rebuilt the clock on my 95 and 97 with the ribbon kit (and LED bulbs)! The 95 seat memory works perfectly, BUT not on my 97 VDP with only 32,000 mls! Love the color on your mother's car. It looks like sapphire blue (like my 95)! Jaguar screwed up with the XJ8 in 1998! Serious relability issues!
I own a 1991 jag and they are great with the I6. Jesse thank you so much for all of your repair videos. You have helped me a lot working on the car. Your mom is also adorable and you are a great son.
I'm going to check out a '97 Vander Plas with 97K miles today. He said the only issue he's aware of is a small power steering fluid leak. It looks nice from the pics, but you've given me some extra things to look at. Thank you for the video. Well done. Glad your Mom is happy with it.
I going to check out a 97 Vander plas with 136k miles, everything looks mint besides the AC inline which he said he'd repair with no additional cost 😅 how is it going for you and do you think it's a good daily for a teenager with a job?
@@cevvya1795 I enjoy it. It is a gas guzzler tho. About 15-17 mpg. I ended up needing a new power steering rack because the leak got worse. I also replaced the alternator. O2 sensors need replacing too, but it runs well without them.
Love it and as an English Guy living in France I have a 97 4.0 sovereign which is a wonderful car that you don't see many of but the French people I meet enjoy seeing it.
Love my xj6 … drove the V12 .. too heavy, probably the XJR …is the perfect combo. On my second jaguar xj6 found one without any corrosion! None !! Thanks Jesse I use your videos a lot !
Enjoyed your video… Nice gift for your mom, they deserve nothing but the best! So Jesse, you only recommend years 95-97 Xj6? I’m currently eyeing a xk8 2003 Covertible. But I also like the body style of the xj s. Thanks
that is awesome Jesse!!! I did the same thing for my dad with a 1997 XJ6 L. unfortunately, I have had to do a ton of work to get it working again but have run into problem I can't seem to figure out. The car will start and drive beautifully the first time but then I can't get it to start again. I have replaced the starter, alternator, spark plugs, coil packs, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, cleaned the throttle body and mass flow sensor... any ideas?
Watched this video after seeing a 1995 xj6 come up on marketplace. Decided to go for it and I’ve been loving it ever since. Love your videos.
well this turned into a "after buying video" fast for me.....since this afternoon....after only german cars, this will be a thrill!
I think the inline six is better lasting than the v8 four point o liter. You are a very good son and a true man Jesse.
My XJ6 X300 4.0 has done 286,000 miles and it drives very well and very smooth and fast.
Fantastic car!
As an English X300 owner I love seeing that delightful lady enjoying her Jaguar!

you made your mom real happy with this cool car. Love my XJ too!

It is good to see you honor your mother. Many blessings from God for you.

Great video and very honest. Your mum is a hoot and she clearly loves you and her Jaaaaaag!
Thanks so much for this video Jesse xx
May you please show us the rear shock replacement as well?
Could please reupload the video that showed the grease points on the x300?

nice video Jesse , I own both a 90 xj6 and a 99 xj8 Vanden plas however the X300 is on my want list , keep these great videos coming .
As ever, great work my good man.
Love having your mother’s reaction in there too.
You’ll have to get her the Vanden Plas next.
Good man! Buen hombre jesse! Gran reseña
I found an 96 XJ6
Hi I'm look in get a jaguar x300 but the one I'm looking at has a v12 instead of the inline 6

Does a car crank over or does it do nothing?
Cranks but no start
I can start it no problem one time but not again
@@AlejandroFernandez-Tatum I had a crank no start issue with my mom s Jag and it turn out to be a faulty fuel pump relay Maybe try that..
Does anyone know how much it costs to rewire one of these cars
Did you ever find out?
Your a good son. I lost mine in a head on Collison. It severed me well. Walked away with out a scratch
Great video! Perfecto! :)
Good to see so many Jags @7.02
GREAT, I need to do this on my 98 XJR
Anything is better then the lucas brand
great review
22 mpg on the highway, 50 mpg in the city. Surley thats the other way round😅
@@allanarmstrong4333 I meant to say 15mpg in the city, my fault !
The woman driving is right, the car makes you feel good.
yeah that was tops Jesse
Nonsense and abuse! Kid stuff!
