When NTG Clint had the 5 Hour Energy scheme, the videogames adapted it too and honestly, the Clint Bowyer scheme worked really well IMO, I....think it was on the die casts too?
And don't get me started on the Viagra car. It was a bitter pill to swallow, seriously, I mean a crew member had to come up with that, and they ran it at the Rock, which was a hard track. No doubt Mark drug the car through the corners, and then some. And all I got in the games was a Pfizer or blank car depending on what you played too. Talk about a let down and wilting expectations.
On the note of alcohol sponsors, I do remember what a big deal it was for I think it was N15 when you could click the little box that says I am over 21 and get the actual sponsors, though I am never sure if it is someone at the race team that designs the in game liveries or consults, or someone at, say, EA or MSG or so forth who comes up with it and gets it signed off by the sponsor or team or how all that works though. Anyone know for sure? I just want to buy whoever did Rusty's Blu Deuce in the games a drink, because that scheme slaps, it's better than the actual one. That and Rusty here is slang for a non alcoholic drink also in some parts of where I'm from too
I think that Silver Bullet scheme worked really well, though for baseball, it's the same. Coors Field and Busch Stadium get through unscathed. Aaaaand yet, they can't get the John Hancock license at Fenway for every game. C'mon, I know what it is. But I also know how people can take it

I remember the censored beer and cigarette cars when I had the Racing Champions toys, yet Hooters and Remington guns were not.
I actually have Nascar a part of Disney right now in my own way after I imagined it being SpongeBob looking before last year
3:15 Here we go again with that British pub footage that people used to constantly spam back when I was in middle school.
On the one hand, I do remember seeing those pseudosponsors in video games back in the day. At least Dale Earnhardt Jr not having his Budweiser logo in the 'Cars' movie makes sense (although alcohol sponsoring a car makes more sense if breweries in the Cars universe were just fuel makers ... eh, I'm sure someone's already written that fanfic).
On the other I also remember a Nascar broadcast shortly after Viagra sponsored Mark Martin featuring a little girl proudly saying that his was the only car that didn't have to worry about keeping the tyres inflated.
