    Yes, I find your video’s “Exceptionally Useful”!
    I’ve been learning a lot since signing up to your WSET3 & WSET4 courses.
    In this video however you are disappointing me a bit…
    The myth you ‘dispel’ is not a myth! In particular with wines that focus on elegance and complexity. E.g. a well aged Brunello. In this case I would never decant it. The process will open it up, but way too fast. It loses its complexity very soon, and never show its real potential.
    I prefer to open the bottle 6-8 hours in advance, pour it in to the shoulder, and let it slowly breathe.
    This lets the full complexity of the aroma’s come out.
    In most other cases: I prefer to ‘decant in the glass’ ie: just pour the wine into a nice glass and enjoy it while it evolves and open up over an hour or so… if I can manage to not drink it any faster😂
