Enjoyed the video, especially like the 90hp trolling motor, LOL. As others have said i appreciate your respcct for the resource, letting the largest go to help the gene pool and keep the population strong. TIGHT LINES ALL
I was impressed by how you put the large ones back in the water. You care about future spawns. That is why I subscribed to your channel. Thanks!
Jay I had a downer of a comment on your last vid but I have a good one this time. Went out yesterday and caught a 21" smallie and a 14.5" crappie. Those were just 2 out of 21 fish I caught total. I caught 17 smalllies, none of which were under 17". It was a legendary day for me.
Legendary day indeed!! Congrats!
Great video man. This is my first video of yours that I've watched, I hit that subscribe button as soon as it was over.
Love it! Such amazing quality!
Thanks Mat!
That driving music had me in stitches. And dancing. 💃 But when you find 'em, you fine 'em.
Haha glad you liked it
Nice crappies. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the tips jay! 🔥👊🙏
Thanks for watching Eric!
Sweet video Jay, thanks for the tips!
Thanks for watching JV ❤️
Glad to see you're catching fish! I'm getting skunked hard in Thunder Bay on the Kam River. I've been catching up on lots of your videos and really enjoy the fishing info and the cinematography. Also, nice baits!
Thanks Aiden!!
love your passion young man! I hope you and Sam are doing well also. Thank you for your videos.
Thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Went crappie fishing a couple days ago and got 22. Got to 14inches. Still not spawning yet. Can't wait for the spawn👍
The SJR781 is a fantastic rod too. Great rods.
Absolutely!
Great video man! Love crappie fishing. Btw looks like you need some sunglasses 😂
Awesome Vid Jay
😘😘
Great scenery. I enjoyed the good fishing video. My friend.👍
Thanks for watching my friend
Love Alumacraft, mine a 1967, F7, just the perfect craft for those smaller lakes. She's 23 years younger than me and has nary a leak to her hull. Say, those crappies were pretty nice too.
That boat has done you well!
@@JaySiemens Yes it has. I love gills, crappies and northern pike fishing. For those specie, she's a dream. And pushing 77 years of age I can still handle her like a hew born baby for which I thank God every day. Happy Fishing.
I'm a huge crappie fisherman. Most my fishing has been out of a canoe but this year bought a boat I'm excited for what the year has to come.
Congrats on the boat!
Thank you.
Excellent, excellent video Jay! Who in the hell would give this a thumbs down?!
Probably for the music
Killer video again dude. Slaying those crappies, I hope to find them here in Quebec in the next few days as well.
Thanks so much!!
Great video Jay! Have to ask, are you on the lle or river? We went into Middle this weekend and with the water having dropped so much had a hard time finding them. That being said, never caught one outside of the lake, so still trying to figure at out. 66 deg in Middle Lake, 53 just North of Norman dam. Big difference!
Just curious why do you have seasons for fish? Do they not let you fish during certain times?
Tiller Life!!
Yeeeeeeees!
This video shows how easy it is to stay on fish, or in position, with a tiller boat. It's why I have one.
once u find them you should just spot lock ur trolling motor vs like trying to find them in reverse again after finding them and drifting off them
The pods are constantly moving
You deserve so many more subscribers.... keep grinding and you will be at a million before you know it! Keep the content coming please!
Hey Jay! Absolutely live your content. Being from Manitoba it's always a treat to have content produced that is so relevant to me... Especially at such high production value.
Can you let me know what type of reel you are using in this video?
you prolly dont care but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can watch pretty much all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother lately =)
@Kendall Creed yup, I have been using InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
...that music though. 😂👌
🤣🤣
I still don't see how you're not the "Smarter Every Day" dude.
The only time I can find them is when they are spawning. But, I don't have electronics either, so there's that...
My dad say your dont need electronics to catch fish. It just makes it easier to find. Crappie are a pattern fish once you find them.
Get yourself a graph! Thanks for watching!
Graph helps a lot! It helped this winter finding where fish could be.
When you get on a big pod of fish like that, why don’t you use spot lock on your trolling motor?
The pods are constantly moving
Gotcha. Like you said, ya gotta always be watching the electronics
Is that your boat? If so, can you do a video on it? Like what boat, motor, electronics, trolling motor, etc.
He has a video on it! Posted back in August I believe!
I did one last summer!
I forgot I had already watched it... So I watched it again haha. Thx
Your videos are awesome man! If i can request something, it would be more videos regarding how to make great fishing films. If you ever want to experience north norway and our exceptional cod and halibut fishing, contact us and we will work something out! Keep up your great work!
Thanks so much! I’m actually working on a video on that exact topic. Also, Norway sounds amazing!!’
Lmfao pick up my phone and bam there’s Jay !!

🤪
Are bass not edible?
They are, they for some reason they have a bad reputation when it comes to the table. People also think you shouldn’t ever keep bass for some reason.
Yes they are, but not a common practice.
Why aren't you using a 5'6" fishing rod for jigging???? Would be way better.......
I only own one crappie rod. So I wanted something more versatile.
2nd view!! Love the vids man
Thanks Chris!
Wut happen to just fishing without electronics.
Wut happened to starting a fire by rubbing two sticks together
@@JaySiemens Haha nice analogy
I’m with you man too much bullshit like a video game... ain’t no shame in just wetting a line without a 25k boat and 1500 in electronics
