In short,
Duelists: Provides entries
Sentinels: Denies entries
Initiator: Provides info
Controllers: Denies info
i love this
Simple and breif
tl;dr
I dont understand controllers tho..
@@ashishchakraborty6694 An Example of Controllers: Controllers can protect the team and spike + they can also protect themselves... Currently, there are only 4 controllers which are Omen, Brimstone, Viper and Astra... But, but, but... If you watch every agent's guide from this channel, you can play every agent properly and win every match, and one day, you will be a Radiant!!
People with no game sense, no aim, and no intelligence: Ah yes I should play duelists
Exactly :D "Check me, im gonna Peak, headshot and dash back, Radiant play" Litteraly every Jett in low elo :D sad they die 9/10 tries and then they flame whole team
Look ma! That's me!
@@vlads.3192 you think they aim for head and they actually dash back ?
@@vlads.3192 dude dude think about this for a second eho in their right mind wouldn't dash away when they get a kill
That's like the main point of using jett
How dumb are you
@@fuk1tsu91 Good if they did it at least for once... but if they die 6 times in row i dont see a point going again and make your team 4v5 in 5 seconds.. so the question is... how dumb are you?
QOTD: when i started i played sentinel cause it thought i couldn’t click heads and now i main sentinel cause i can’t click heads
Lol same
agreed, that why we needs cypher trip wires to legally wall hack
Started a sova main. Still a sova main.
I do the exact same, started off with being a sova main, found out I wasn't able to play him well, switched to Cypher after thinking a little more defensive stuff could work, still a Cypher main.
i am now a killjoy main because of this
When I began a month ago, I just started off with random characters I got to lock. I am new to fps in general so I started to get a lot of toxic comments from team itself. Then I saw someone obliterate us using killjoy, so I chose to unlock kj right away when I got a free agent unlock. I've been perfecting as a flank watcher more and more since then as I still don't have a good aim game. I'm thinking of learning a second agent as many people are better at playing as kj more than I can and actually want to in comp matches
Same dude this is my first fps game ever and I get so much shit for it lmao
@@tiagokarimi2136 Team Fortress 2 was my first fps, when i find that my aim isn't doing so hot i'll go Sniper in and just mess around. I totally recommend it if u don't mind a more casual game and a some botters.
Same to me though not the new to fps part, also yes, aim still horrible so I rely on my turret and nanoswarms lol
@@tiagokarimi2136 my first fps was csgo but i dont play much lol and i was like so young that time
Bruh you exactly described my condition
QOTD: Started as a controller with Brimstone and still specializing the controller role with using Omen and Viper more
Exactly the same as mine haha
started controller with brim branched to omen now astra, viper feels weird with her wall im too used to round smokes
Legit exactly me
I started with a sentinel like sage then moved on to duelists like jett and raze to fit my more aggressive play style
@@whereisaim4022 Viper Has a round smoke too ;-;
QOTD: directly unlocked cypher and never stopped playing with him, he's my absolute favorite. I feel like there is extremely much potential in cypher, which a lot of people unfortunately do not seem to realize. I barely ever see another cypher on the enemies team, but if i do, i instantly know that this is going to be a hard round. I love cypher because he seems like a very defensive character, but if you know how to play him, you can use his cages and trapwires even mid-fight and still get just as many kills as a phoenix or a jett does. On top of that, you can feel cool as heck every single time you tell the people in voice chat where the enemies are. The pure ability to say "phoenix, killjoy and omen in garage, jett in mid and brim is flank" is just beautiful, it honestly feels like a ton of power that you hold by yourself.
True
I've mained Cpher for a little bit as well, and I can confirm that. I feel like Cypher is in terms of locating enemies Sova, but better. Like, on maps like Bind, there are places where the trapwires are so fricking useful. Many people don't seem to realize this is a character that has the ability to completely turn matches. Also, the cam is insanely useful cause u can essentially check for opponents on maps like Ascent, if you go b as an attacker, you can throw it against the flat wall right after the hallway to basically check the entirety of b for opponents. I switched to Phoenix tho, since I wanted a character that could be used to push opponents and to heal itself in the frontline and because I wasn't really a friend of Cypher's cage ability. I think the ability is only useful on maps like icebox and if you're really close to an opponent. In situations like that, Phoenix is really nice cause of the curveball you can use to stun enemies from afar and then to take them out using my main weapon-Vandal.
Same but with raze
my story is really weird i was playing with my brother and when i saw a cypher playing like a god i thought the agent was the reason and unlocked him i still do play him a bit but since 6 to 7 months i have been playing yoru and trying other agents
Well i use the cages to help with entry sometimes it helps create a screen
QOTD: Personally I can't seem to settle on a main. Initially I used to love support agents like Sova and Cypher because of the grasp they gave me over a situation, but recently I've been leaning towards more controller characters like brimstone, astra and viper who can actually defend themselves and hold out. They're both great in my opinion.
Agreed, I main cypher yet recently whenever I need to fill a role or someone locks in cypher, but lately I've been playing lots of brim or omen. Maybe it's because of the latest buffs but who knows
you can swap. although its good to have a main, some people can swap between different roles. I usually swap between Fade (A initiator) and Neon (A duelist).
Its good to have a main, and a role that you’re good at.
Im a Cypher and KJ main, so i setup my gear at the start of sites, or around (depending on DEF or ATK). Once i get info, i partially assist initiators. (Unless everyone else dies, i just try to win the round cuz I’m not a good aim yet.)
But also, i play as KAY/O sometimes to put the other team at a possible disadvantage, and gather intel
And its not about the kills. Its about taking over the site, and supporting your team.
I used to main duelists particularly Jett. I then decided that I should move over to Sentinels with Killjoy because I found myself struggling when it came to engagements. After that, I decided to play as Skye as an initiator. I’ve been maining her ever since but am considering Astra or Viper. I used to think Yoru was really good tho and I enjoy my time with him tho.
Same yoru is really fun but he sadly isn't that relevant in the league. You can easily hear his teleport and his ult. Same thing with the new girl neon even her normal steps are very loud.
QOTD: I started with sova ,( literally From the tutorial 😂 ) ,and iam still a sova main
I also started some days ago and started with sova by watching their video😂
Thats okay anyone have their favourite main like me im more to Omen
"i aM tHe hUnTeR" 🤣🤣🤣 I crack up everytime I hear it, even in the most serious situations lmao
Chok fart
Me too
started of as cypher cause he looks cool, then used jett for a while cause i wanna feel like tenz, now im back to cypher main and jett as a second main
LMFAOO same.... I played Cypher b4 bc it looks cool abd my brother keeps using it in Ep 1 act 2
Ayy i almost have the same part as you.. i used cypher for a while and when i saw vipers abilities and place in the meta, i got her and i became a viper main for a short time. Im back to using cypher since he got his buffs and i just like characters who have spying capabilities.
QOTD: I started with Sentinel because I liked how supportive Sage was, but recently realized I like Initiatior more, especially Sova. i love being able to clear out an entire site with one well-placed arrow.
QOTD: started with Sage, and trying to branch out into killjoy and Viper
Same, I started with sage then unlocked killjoy and viper and yeah they are who I play
+1
Same
3 of those are my mains lmao
same!
Just started playing. Very quickly realized that I love playing the initator role, particularly Sova. Launching a dart and seeing 5 players show up and watching your team decimate them is a great feeling. Still working up to level 20 to get into competitive, but it's become apparent very quickly that a good initator is the biggest difference maker. Plus I find you usually end up being the last player alive on your team and I love trying to clutch. Lerking around and trying to pick off enemies in a 1v3 is fun, even if it doesn't always work out.
QOTD: I've started with Reyna , the most easy agent in this game, since the beginning .
Now I'm a kay/o main , which should be a initiator but more like a duel that can provide info
kayo ist absolutely awesome in aggressive play
omg we're the exact same haha
@kermitdafroog oo sounds cool but i didnt unlock kay o yet, otherwise i would main him
Did a bit of research and picked Kay/O, he's always been my fave. Great balance of being able to defend yourself like a duelist, but also gathering info and being able to help teammates.
Yeah I just started getting back into the game after I stopped playing about a month after release, and Kay/O is really solid. Being able to pop flash like CSGO is a really nice skill transfer
I’ve been playing for about a month now casually, and so far I’ve been trying out every role. I like initiator because it’s been helping me get better
I started maining Omen in plat because I loved his mixed playstyle. Being able to have utility for your team but also retain some duelist components makes him my favorite by far. Plus, he got me to immortal and I do not have the best mechanics.
I started as sentinel too and still a sentinel up til now. I like lurking a lot and my team's win rate increases a bit when I do lurk since I get to lessen the pressure on my team pushing a site.
QOTD: Started out with Sova and Omen but I realized the "bamboozle" playstyle that Yoru has was my favorite way to play and I've been a Yoru main since.
I feel like skye is a mix between duellist and initiator. What do you guys think? Her flashes and ult help her team but her tiger can also help herself get entry picks.
Yeah I’m a Skye main and I’m often a top frag, I use her flashes to kill people more easily, like a duelist. And I also use flashes to inform people if there’s a person in that corner or not, like a initiator.
QOTD: Started initiator, went thru a duelist phase, initiator again, sentinel, and finally, back to an initiator as sova.
When I started, I played jet only for a tiny bit before I first unlocked Killjoy. After that, I've exclusively played KJ and Skye, and I just really love sentinels ability to know map information and have that awareness (my playstyle is pretty cautious, but I am trying to be more confident).
I started out as an initiator, and sova was the agent. Though I left the initiator role since yoru's kit felt better for my playstyle which I definitely love to outplay & teleport right into the fray.
helped a lot!! Thank you :DD
QOTD: Started as duelist (Phoenix), started to dab on every other agent. I push a lot and try to check as much corners as possible. Usually when I can't be a duelist (usually Phoenix), I would start using initiators and get info with that. If initiators are also not available, my next option would be a sentinel and I'd watch my team's flank. I have no specific strategy or line-ups though.
QOTD: I played more duelist as my aggressive nature fit the duelists perfectly. However i then learned how to play Omen and found out that Omen is a good solo queue agent who can help not only his team but himself as well
Just started this game, and I picked up Neon as my first freebie, absolutely love her.
I was so happy that when I started playing valorant was the week they released neon. I like to charge as fast as I can but the duelists don’t do it for me neon’s kit fits my playstyle
QOTD: i started as a sentinel with sage and am now an initiator/sentinel main, with sova/cypher
this honestly comes as no shock to me seeing as when i played r6s nonstop (quit cuz of the hackers, bugs and lack of people to play with) i was a valkerie main on defense and a flex main, leaning support on attack so ive always been the one helping the team and gathering intel
I am a sova main for a week now, (I played him before I actually mained him) and I usually get 20 kill with him and at the same time I spot a lot of enemies for my team, they usually thank my support at the end and that makes me feel good😁
I've been watching valorant for awhile now and have been fascinated by the killing capability of duelists. I just got my first pc for christmas and played valorant for the first time last night. It was so much fun but I quickly realized there is a lot more to the game than just kills. I am interested in whatever type of player benefits me and the team the most simultaneously.
Initially started as a sentinel, eventually drifted over to omen as mainly a controller, I play the epic roboswedish man from time to time as well if we need an initiator however
QOTD: I've been playing CS for years and decided to try out a Duelist like a year ago.
Since today I've been a duelist main and in love with using Raze since she's fun to use and always manage to get easy clutches. 💜
Neon & Reyna are the only characters that fits my playstyle: chaotically aggressive, fast moving, self-sustained
other Duelists pale in comparison, so does the other classes.
I think saying the other duelists are pale in comparison is mostly true, but Jett is the exception to that. Neon and Jett are VERY similar agents, it's just that Jett's abilities "combo" better. If you truly like playing Neon, you'll like playing Jett.
Only exception might be if you really do mean "chaotically aggressive," and I do suppose a Jett is less chaotic.
Started playing recently, and my main is Neon, because after playing Titanfall 2, my play style is really aggressive, fast and chaotic. Altho I took a break from FPS games for half a year so I'm relearning aiming, and with such a playstyle it's hard to do.
I'm happy to have played Initiator. I've been using Phoenix as an Initiator and not a duelist, I flash for the team, I cover flanks with my wall of fire and moly, being an Initiator is one of the most fun agent role for me.
I like Omen for his C ability's movement freedom and lurking capabilities and KAY/O as his kit is between a duelist and initiator, as I can entry with his flashes too and gain intel with his knife.
Icl phoenix looked sick and his voice lines is jokes as well so I just stuck with him
I started out on controller with Omen but now I am heavily leaning on duelist with Reyna, as I'm just better with attacking enemies and doing flanks to take out enemies one by one and control my situation better
I started off as an initiator ( Skye) and for the time being, I hated getting info for my team because it sometimes meant i would have to abandon the safety of the group and lurk. My aim being terrible considering Val was my first PC game made everything worse.
Almost a year later i am now a duelist main (Reyna /Jett) my aim drastically improved and i realized the invasive fighting style was my thing. Considering my aim far better than my game sense going in my for entry and then holding site to the best of my ability is really the best thing I can do for my team.
Nice Thanks for this
QOTD: Started as a Sentinel (Sage). Now I'm practicing Controllers mastering Viper, Omen, and Astra when it comes to smoke location depending on where my team wants it. I tend to play Omen more as a duelist tho
i think omen more like duelist than controller cause his skill can outplayed them so hard
@@kawachi2309 especially when his ult and teleports are used in a smart manner. He works well on Bind, Split and Icebox
Started as Controller with Sage but the moved to Skye, love her utility (flashes, information/stun and most importantly healing my team)
Sometimes I miss self healing and/or revives but it's worth it.
Just sometimes disappointed with flash duration/ effectiveness with Skye, as the deploy and holster time leaves me open a lot when I don't have someone to cover me.
When I started the game the first agent I played was sage because it was the only person left and we needed someone for icebox. After that I have become a controller main, I love the positioning of smokes and have especially fell in love ( no irony intended) with viper. I love how she can drop her smokes and split sites into manageable chunks. Overall I just really like controllers
So I started playing on January, and I started with Sage because usually in games I like being supporter. However, I soon learned that controllers could also kinda be support because they block off places and routes to help teammates. So now I'm a controller, mostly with Viper.
I started as duelist with Yuro, bc I thought "teleporting must be so OP" . Yeah well that didn't work out.
Nowadays Viper is my main.
Sad that you forgot about omen
QOTD: I started as a Sentinel(Sage) and continue to play her. Knowing now that sentinels are supposed to deny entry to sites I may shift gears and play as an initiator as I’m not aggressive in nature but rather supportive
I also started as duelist but switched to a controller when I started lurking with omen
I started out as duelist, but i picked up sova in a ranked game and got super addicted, now i play initiators and i’m able to play kay/o and sova now (with a little bit of skye)
Started with Killjoy and became KJ main. Then tried Cypher and now I am a Cypher main.
OMG samee. I got soo used to cypher i feel handicapped when i play other agents without my trips and camera. I mess up games where i don't get cypher 😭
QOTD: Started as a sentinel with Cypher and I have never stopped using him.
I started playing valo this week with my boyfriend, tried every unlocked agent, and tbh I just sit so well with Sova! I love the info he gives and I know very well to use it, so I'm trying to perfect him as best as I can, after that, I might start learning Raze because I don't think she is difficult but we will see. I know I need to learn more champs for future just in case someone insta-lock it
I started maining controllers, specifically brimstone, when first introduced to Valorant because his utility was similar to cs:go’s utility with his smokes and molly. The reason I tried him out is because a friend told me not to pick him since “he wasn’t very good” so I naturally picked him. It is a coincidence that controllers actually fit my playstyle.
Gonna be completely honest started as Jett as a noob then thought omen looked cool and unlocked him so now I mostly use Omen and skye with an occasional Reyna in unrated
QOTD: I saw Omen a while before I started playing and said, “yeah he looks cool I’m gonna play him” and the rest is history
that was me with yoru lol
@@toocsick2142 yikes
@@jacknugent4324?
New to tact shooters so went with duellist as it’s simple but recently been learning controller and I’ve really been enjoying Astra.
I started with Omen and now main him and Killjoy :)
QOTD: I started as the guy who always dies first, so my team knows where the enemy team is located, and I'm currently playing....well still the decoy lol
True 🤣
QOTD: Started as omen and viper main, but made a new acc and started playing skye and yoru. Now a yoru main and then skye.
I started as a duelist, and still am. It just fits the way I play. In the beginning I didn’t know what role I was and just kept picking kj. But then realized I was using her like a duelist. Now I main Raze and I love it. I love rushing in but also creating opportunities for my team and getting quick surprise kills on the opposing team
Wow, I had exactly the same experience. I started off with Phoenix until I got Kj and I was just so bad at playing her tbh. After I unlocked Raze, no other character suited me as well as her.
I started to play in the Beta, with Omen only, but it was only there, now i’m back to the game and trying to unlock all the characters to discover wich one i like the most
QOTD: Started with Sova, then switched to Jett once i felt more confortable with my aim, then switched to KJ and Viper (map dependant) with Skye as my backup pick.
QOTD: Went from Cypher to Killjoy, never stopped playing her.
I main Cypher and Kay/O
The duality of "Screw you, stay out of my house" and "Screw you, i'm raiding your house"
Started with Sova because of tutorial, decided to try KJ and Cypher and loved KJ a lot. However I am really comfortable in all the initiator class.
So now I main KJ pretty much all game and only use Sova or Skye when needed
QOTD: I play omen cuz of the outplay potential, and no one picks controllers in low-elo
Started out with Sage and still really like playing her, but I'm more of a Duelist player now (Jett, Reyna) which is a bit of a headache because people just instalock duelists in comp, so I still get stuck playing Sage if I don't want a 5 duelist team
That sounds familiar😂
qotd - I started out with duelists like jett and reyna because hard pushing has always been my thing since the start of call of duty. But as I played more, and with friends I realised playing as a team is more important than getting kills and mvp'ing all the time.
I now use initiators like skye and kayo cause their kit can help the team and they can act as part time duelists too.
I started off with initiator mainly sova now I go between sova and jett I love having information on my side
QOTD: Started as a sentinel maining sage ... now playing the controller role using Omen
QOTD: When I started I always loved playing Duelists (Jett,Yoru), but I was really terrible at it and got flamed by not only toxic opponents but toxic team mates as well, so I tried out Omen.....
Haven't looked back since
I started as an initiator and I still am, I like them because they are good for pushes and are quite aggressive. I also use controllers like omen and brimstone sometimes.
Started playing with a mix of Sova, Viper, and Reyna. Learned how to be slightly better with five agents (Viper, Reyna, Yoru, Omen, and Cypher). And figured out I loved playing Cypher.
I started off by playing Sage, but it kind of dropped off, because I felt there are better players than I am. There always are.
When I got to unlock my level agents, i went for Cypher and Skye. They seemed sympathetic and i generally fell in love with their playstyle, although I often blind my teammates while playing Skye and mostly rely on the spycam and tripwires while playing Cypher.
I habe unlocked a couple more agents, but they are not my style at all, I think.
My next goal is KJ, but I'm afraid if it won't end the same way as with Sage. 😐
Now I tend to
When I started out, I used to play either Jett (duelist) or Sage (sentinel)
Depending on who I was playing with I would play one of the two
Now I play Reyna (duelist) or sage
And if either are taken then sova
But my main option is Reyna and I'm pretty good at it
And insta lock reyna's who don't know how to play her piss me off (yes, I did meet a new player who insta locked reyna today)
Me, I had started (for the literal first day) with sova, because of how easy it is to support your team with a drone and a well placed recon bolt + pretty decent site clearing with shock darts
I then went on to play yoru from my free agent for the first few weeks since I just liked the idea of confusing people and teleporting, flashing, as being invisible
From there I was on RUclips and found a sick omen clip and was thinking about how omen looks funner and that not being a due list meant I could help the team much more with bad mechanics
Started with lurking Omen and a bit of Reyna, now a Sova and lurking Cypher player
started a sova main, now I run sova/cypher/viper dependant on team comp and map and other factors
My first was sentinel with KJ, currently loving Neon
I started as initiator. I started playing skye and sova but after like 2 months not getting out of bronze or silver i realized it was most of the time because of team. When you play an initiator you are supposed to help duelists open the sites but when your duelists are peeking mid every time - dying, or just staying behind and not doing anything you are pretty much "useless". After it i tried neon which i hated at the time because of the players who plays her, i absolutelly fell in love with her. You can execute a site in a few seconds pretty much alone. Now i am gold and i hope i'll hit plat soon. I am playing pretty much every role now but neon is deffinetly the n1 for me now.
I started playing Brimstone and then mained Cypher. But currently I maim Kay/O and has seen great results with him
Started with duelist (pheniox Reyna and raze), but I have found alot of liking for more agressive plays with omen and astra.
i started out w sage. now i play mainly raze n killjoy. i love entry fragging but i also love kjs play style n util
When I started playing val, I started playing as Phoenix, then as I started to know more about the game, I checked all agents and the agent the suits and will do best with is Cypher so I worked to unlock him and now I am a Cyoher main
I started with Brim and Sova, and found comfort in limiting chances for inaccuracies and enemy retakes through Brim's mollies and smokes, AD through ult, and support through stim. Sova's just a great info gatherer through recon and drone. I work best by funneling options and limiting my enemy's chances to complicate encounters for my team's more aggressive players.
This takes me back to CS 1.0 and 1.6 days where I'd rather save and just buy armor and nades, smokes, and flashes for my team. Of course my mechanical skill isn't where it was back then, but hey I've always understood efficiency and sacrifice for team wins.
I usually don't sub so quickly but video was good and super helpful
I started with Sova but then moved onto Chamber and finally I stuck with Jett. I learned that I can be super good with a sniper and at times I may stay in the back just a bit but at others I go straight ahead. It’s a flip of a coin for me but I’ve noticed that I do a lot better with Jett then the others I’ve used.
As soon as I saw how big Sova's sonar arrow range is, i realized that i just wanted to play him forever, you can play him as an initiator and gain info, as a sentinel and set timed charges with shock arrows, and as a duelist because of how fast you can take the bow out and put it back for wallbangs and such. In my opinion, the whole difference between every role is kinda muddy, and there are really only these five important roles in the game that agents in most game-given roles can take: *smokes* (controller+ sometimes Jett and Cypher), *flashes* (shared between duelist/initiator) *info* (shared between sentinel/initiator), *heals* (Skye or Sage) and *mobility* (duelist)
Started with Phoenix. Got okay with him. Then learned brimstone and that is where things turned better for me. I am now learning sage and sova
Started as a sentinel (mained kj at first cus i saw a kj in my very first game killin it and i thought she was cool) but quickly realized i didnt know how to use any of her util to hold down a site and didnt know any lineups nor did i know where to strategically place her util in a way that wouldnt be discovered right away by the enemy team. Also tried viper since i loved her design and character but i also didnt know how to use any of her util so i was useless to my team whenever i played her. Now i main initiators like skye, sova, fade, and kay/o which is a way more comfortable role to play for me as i like gathering info on where the enemies are first thing in the round, informing my team on where they are or arent, and assisting my teammates by being beside them
my favorite agent is omen cause he looks cool and being a controller really suits me lol
in my previous fps game, i always use my smoke
QOTD: I started with sentinels, mainly between Sage and Cypher. I have always liked being able to heal teammates, so I flexed to Skye as an initiator who could also heal. I also found myself trying to fill the controller role, leading me to play Brim since he was the simplest for me to understand. Since Chamber's release, I went back to playing him mainly but realized that the team was then missing a controller a lot of times. I ended up watching this video to try and see if I should just become a controller main.
I used to play sentinel, as this is a role I normally played in siege, but I quickly found that initiator was a lot more my playstyle
Started by playing duelists like jett and phoenix, because you've already unlocked them. Nowadays im more into the initiator role with agents like Sova and KAY/0
I started as an initiator (Sova), now I'm an initiator and controller (Sova, Breach, Omen and sometimes Viper)
Started off with Pheonix, then switched to Sage as I felt like I’m a good supporter. Now my mains are Brim on Ascent, Bind, Split and Haven and Viper on Breeze and Fracture, Clutching most of the time.
I feel calm when situations under my control.
I tried to be a duelist main before I realized I was more fond for controllers to. Now finding a main I tried to be Omen but I have a love for Viper
Started out as a Jett main. Tried to play sage but I'm usually aggressive in FPS games so I switched back to duelist and now I play Reyna
i started off playing phoenix for a bit (although i didn't really use my abilities) and quickly unlocked killjoy. playing with sentinel as your first main roll really gives you a lot of gamesense quickly, and killjoy definitely helped with that. after that i unlocked raze, who i was able to play as a more "background" duelist with her nades. i played a bit more slowly than a duelist should since my aim was/is not that good, but it's fine :). since then i've also unlocked chamber, skye, kay/o, breach and almost got neon! i now play sage more than any other character, and i enjoy playing many different characters, but i prefer playing a sentinel above anything else! i love being the "backbone" of the group, even with meh aim :)
I've come back to playing Valorant after years of playing other games like LoL. I used to play Jett and Sova before, so I tried to primarily play Jett this time around since I remember really liking her kit. The thing is, I'm new to FPS, so my aim and movements overall just really suck. I also found myself trying to provide cover w/ my smokes for my team rather than actually dueling anyone... as a duelist. I played Jett until I could get a free agent card as I honestly really like her character design overall but know I just suck at her. That's when I found Fade. I STILL suck w/ aiming, but getting the enemy team's positions as well as blinding them is so much fun. I began instinctively following the most skilled players on my team as I know they're our win cons and would probably do well with some support. The only reason I haven't really played Sova yet is I don't really know any lineups for any of his arrows. That said, I plan on learning how to play the Initiator role with Fade and Sova. They provide so much utility and I know I won't carry my team with kills XD. If I can provide my carries with the information they need to succeed, that's all good with me XD.
