That cosmic spectacle even made me tear up because how well they build that up throughout the 3 eps and it was so symbolic to how this sacred meteor shower helped our rebels escape. Man I love Star Wars so much.
Andor realized Skeen was just a stone cold liar. He lied to not just him, but the whole group. Didn't even think twice about killing Val either. Andor knew he would have killed him as soon as he landed the ship and kept the money himself.
Absolutely incredible episode!! - The ones who died were Nemik 😭, Taramyn (Former Stormtrooper), Lieutenant Gorn (7 years), & well Cassian had to put down Skeen after hearing that 😡 R.I.P Nemik, Taramyn, & Gorn: All True 💙 Rebels who gave their lives during a heist that Massively funds the newly formed Rebel Alliance 💙 I’m so excited for next Wednesday!
Cassian is going to run...on his own with his 170,000 credits (the 30,000 is what he paid the doctor for his ship). While on the run, he's going to read the manifesto that Nemick wrote. He'll probably go back to Ferrix (not too sure). Maybe he gets caught, some how (after he's read the manifesto)...for when he reads it, feeling the passion that Nemick poured into it...he will become a "true believer". Loving EVERYTHING that is happening on this show. It is the best product that LucasFilm has made...since Disney acquired the Star Wars franchise. Truly amazing on EVERY level. The cinematography is EMMY award winning. The writing is on par with Aaron Sorkin. Ah, the directing...top notch. AND, the acting. Wow. You really couldn't ask for more...in our opinion. Thanks for your reaction. Cannot wait to rewatch it, then ponder on all the story threads till next week. This is going to be a VERY long week. Ugh.
There are more scenes in the trailer on Ferix. And Bix gets interrogated by Dedra. I think Andor will go back to Ferix to check on everyone and some how share his loot with family and friends. He will check back in with Bix. Luthen will try to reach out to bix on the radio. I believe Luthen, Val and Mon will try to recruit Andor again. That is why you see Vel on Ferix in the Trailer. All roads lead back to Ferix. The Dedra and the ISB will go back to the source for Andor. Also... Andor will come back to check in. But he will see all the heat and storm troopers and some fight will ensue. In Idle times, Andor will become inspired with the Manifesto and will become committed to the cause. Awesome and show and loved the reaction.
Never jeopardize the mission while Andor is around. 😂 Seriously, amazing episode. Was not expecting how some of them would die, neither Cinta's fate. Also loved Luthen's laugh at the ending.
My heart was pounding out of my chest throughout the last 15 minutes of this episode! The writing and directing was honestly some of the best I have ever seen not just in Star Wars but in any spy thriller tv series. And I’m so happy that they portray all these characters as being completely grey. With the exception of Nemik.😢
3:30 Skeen is buddying up with Andor trying to get on his good side because he needs Andor to pilot the ship later for what he pulls at the end... So glad Andor waxed his sorry a$$
Things I've learned from the show .. never join a team with andor... never show weakness to andor.. never show your true intentions and never get in a fight with andor
How they handled Nemik's death was perfect. He grew as a character *even more* -- facing the action rather than shrinking from it, with his body giving way literally saving them all by navigating the ship through his physical pain. As much as I hate the guy in the end, Skeen was right -- Nemik is the reason they're doing all this. I'm reminded of Kanan's death in Rebels, facing his end and choosing to give his all to save his family. This episode was a 10/10. Perfect everything. Most gorgeous Star Wars I've seen in a long while. Can we always have space battles take place during the Eye? 😍
This episode was immense! I haven’t felt Iike this since chapter 16 of the Mandalorian. But this was better because it didn’t rely on the nostalgia of old loved characters. It was just… immense 🤩 I enjoyed your reaction/review, take care guys 😊
Not just that thought in the back of our heads that he was going to die, but the circumstances: Throughout the show, Cassian has a habit of sniff-checking his drinks, as though someone in the past tried to poison him. The first time he _doesn't_ do that is when Nemik hands him a drink at the start of the episode. Cassian _trusts_ Nemik, and when you think about it, Cassian killed Nemik, albeit indirectly, and by accident.
Can't lie, my anxiety levels were through the roof with this ep! The visuals of the eye were just majestic 😍❤ Oh oh oh the whole tie fighter sequence from launch to ... was just magical and great source material for cosplay/model makers 😁 Yeah gotta admit i loved this even though I had to pause a couple times to let loose an expletive, grab munchies then back into it 😒
Exactly the same bro!! I am actually against a lot of feminazi shows but this show really shows how a woman can be a strong and motivational person perfectly!
This show is so good love how it portrays views from many different angles the director of this show knows what he’s doing I’d say this is the best show that came out this year and probably even a few years prior
Just remember the universal line in all the movies: "I've got a bad feeling about this." Works for every situation. Good episode, looking forward to what happens next! Loved your reactions,Wendy!
Star Wars has always been great at balancing sci-fi spectacle with mythical awe (the asteroid chase from TESB, the Holdo Maneuver from TLJ, almost everything from SW Visions, etc.), and the Eye chase scene proves it.
Fantastique épisode!!! I guess the next few épisodes Cassian is gonna go back on Ferrix to be with is "mother" and friends but because of the heist the Empire / ISB is gonna oppress the population more !!! And Cassian will read the Manifesto and be inspired to strikeback by joining the Rebel fully...
Loved this sooo much. I'm pretty sure Imperial retaliation will include Maeeva, (hope not but they got few targets to use their anger on), also he was seeking her sister since ep1., guess who's got connections to find her.... And in the meantime Andor got some reading to do.... Also the white haired ISB officer girl will want to push for more info, the other's will want the hunt for themselves and deny it, and my bet she will contact an information source they can't restrict her access to.: the fired corp officer, with info in his head. He can be a mindwashed, trully evil (i.e. dedicated) ISB agent....... Wonder if Cinta just walked out of the base.... she was quick to shoot the imperial engineer, she is full of hate, she might even shot the family..... (hope not). Poor natives gonna be oblierated, and they will shot it through Cinta's eyes who is left behind at the planet. Also the Rebellion rises.... got more money........ need to hide it in charity organisations, etc.... Hope Bail Organa will show up too......This is how it all began.......
7 Rebels go in. 3 come out alive, but one of them bails and the other one stays behind, making it ONE Rebel to successfully deliver the cargo. For Vel this has gotta suck. They won but at what cost?
This was a great episode. Delving into the grey areas heavily. The heist only partially succeeded, and at a huge cost. Cassian straight up murdered Skeen, who could have just been testing him. Nimik's death was tragic. Cassian is turning his back on the rebellion. The Empire is gearing up to dole out presumably horrible consequences. Overall, rather bleak. Incredibly well done. Definitely feels like a Star Wars midpoint. Like finishing ESB, but before starting RotJ.
a bazillion months ago (before everything got delayed by Covid), somebody who was reviewing/reacting to Rogue One commented about the upcoming Andor series. He said 'Does anybody REALLY care about Cassian Andor'? Well, I gotta say, I guess a LOT of people do.
For all the people who were complaining how this show is slow, boring, blablabla... Well, for one, I'm glad the writers actually let us spend time with these characters so that when they inevitably have to go, we actually FEEL the hurt ! I would have loved to see Finn... I mean Taramin be an actual ex-stormtrooper with an actual plot going on, or Lieutenant Gorn would have made for a fine officer in the Rebellion. Or how Nemik could have been one of the intellectual beating hearts of the whole Alliance (well, I guess his manifesto will do the work for him). Screenwriting wise, this show is as spectacular as its visuals (that somehow remind me of Dune, for some reason. Maybe the sheer scale of it, so much more massive than anything shot in the Volume) or its music and acting. All these 4 crucial elements of filmmaking just finish to coalesce together in order to cement the artistic identity of this show in the entire Star Wars universe as something dark, serious, grounded, morally gray, and tragic... and so unique ! No pew pew (well, some) every 5 minutes, no mystical bwoosh vwooosh to save the day. Only pure skills... and luck, which as Skeen said, is the one thing that rules this galaxy ^^ (It's only now that I type these words that I realize how close Luck and Luke sound). This show is the Game of Thrones level series Star Wars needed to get out of its funk (despites the Mandalorian's best attempts to revitalize the franchise, but massively hampered down by Boba and Obiwan), and goddamn, does it feel good ! Now the Galaxy FINALLY feels far far away, vast and filled with unknown and tension, far from the Skywalkers and Tatooine
Wow....Maybe when Andor reprograms K2SO, he makes him out to be like his buddy who died in this heist. I mean K2SO seems similar to him. Could you imagine, if using his manifesto, Andor programs K2SO to sort of have him live on in a droid, at least in some kind of form. That would make K2SO's death in Rogue One even more impactful.
WoW, what an episode, up there with the best heist films merged with WW2 movies such as "Where Eagles Dare", I get big vibes concerning the latter, perhaps Gilroy is a Big Fan of the Eastwood-Burton classic. Andor keeps impressing like this, HoD has major competition for Best Drama Emmy We go back to Ferrik, becasuse the trailer had scenes with Denise Gough's character there along with that Prefect Dude and Riots. Probably security video of Cassian from Aldani sends Densie to Ferrik.
Andor paid for his way into the rebellion: 1) He could have stolen the money himself. And has a whole town if not planet of people who, if he paid, would likely cover his 6. The option was clearly there, he (from wisdom and/or lack of greed) didn't pursue this option. 2) He returned the kyber crystal, also worth a lot of money, but also holding sentimental value to its owner, Kassein honored its value by returning it. 3) He kept his word and made the mission succeed. 4) He honored the wish of the dead young man and took, and will supposedly read, his manefesto. Andor probably can be found anytime he wants to be by the rebellion if he keeps either looking for his sister or keeps contact with any of his friends, but particularly the woman who lost her boyfriend in episode 3; both seem very likely. Also, Andor may find that earning money from the rebels to be enticing solely from a financial standpoint. Consequently, he may seek out who knows about him, what are they about, and how can he earn more money from a cause he may find to be worthy of his talents and efforts.
If only Disney took the time and care for shows people actually wanted BEFORE they made this show nobody asked for.... they would have a LOT more people watching this show right now. I know I wasn't looking forward to this show, but it is just fantastic. Wish all the other stuff was up to par. Mandalorian, Rogue One, and Andor are probably the only good things Disney has put out with Star Wars.
Thanks Wendy and Dustin 👍So…the ones who did not make it were considered traitors, if looking at it from the empire’s side 🤔hmm, interesting. This episode was so intense; been dying to see how others reacted to it as well; and you’re the first! 👏😃 Oh…just realised; except for one. So much in this episode!! 🤦♀️
Dustin, I think Cassian gave the kyber as a test for Vel? 🤔 and maybe a test for Luthen as well? 🤔🤷♀️That’s how he proves he is a rebel at his core? And he has Nemik’s book now too 🙈Brain explode 🤯🫠
Pretty sure we will go back to Ferrix - we saw the Empire establish a headquarter there? And we'll also be back on Aldhani because we still have to see the massive star destroyer arrive there, right? I'm so looking forward to it, a great series with awesome characters and magnificent visuals!
I just finished this episode and yes I was on the edge of my seat I didnt want it to end feeling like I was apart of it like come on get it done and go, and I knew someone in the team was not apart of the team andor being more and more the guy we know
For me when Vel hands Cassian the notes from Nemick, I think it would have felt better if she would have said something a bit more. Like “He thought you could use a compass (or a path). Something to alludes to Nemick still helping him after his death.
I was hoping everyone would make it out alive. How do you convince people to join when only 3 people survived? Also, No question about it, Andor shot first.
I don’t know, i was thinking about this after watching this episode, but I think that Dedra Meero with the Empire might be Andor’s sister. I think that is why she might be so heavily invested in this investigation. Her lack of back story and her strange motivation is just off. And it seems that with the way this story is being told, the writers would’ve introduced us to her already and that plot point is on a really slow time released burn that we won’t find out until the end of the season.😅. I also think that each 3 episodes are like sections with its own them. Section 1 ep. 1-3 are Andor’s backstory. Section 2 ep 4-6 is the heist. Section 3 ep. 7-9 are the fallout and investigation. But on the last section ep. 9-12 will bring elements from all 3 sections and we’ll see everything converging and each episode will be a banger and action heavy with little slow burn elements and we’ll also see returning characters like Bix. It’ll create this rising tension filled crescendo with fireworks at the end.
@@ISavant You're right the actress is not blonde. In some of those shots, maybe it was the lighting, but she looked blonde. FYI just because the actress is not blonde does not mean she doesn't get hair coloring for roles.
I feel like skeen wasn't even necessarily lying about his brother, but he thought the mission was a failure, he just lost a bunch of friend/comrades, andor says "what about your brother" and well his brother's dead, so "i don't have a brother" makes sense and he thought fuck it, might as well take what i can and get out. still a betrayal but i feel like it came from hopelessness rather than just being conniving. but i may well be wrong.
Nothing could have prepared me for how beautiful The Eye would look.
Same! I need 4K images yesterday!
10:30 Skeen fails to provide covering fire for the ex-stormtrooper guy and that's why he gets killed... what a snake!
Wow I didn’t notice That man nice catch he was thinning out his soon to be enemies
Nice catch, seems like he did take one shot at an imperial to make him think he would cover him, and then he stopped and let him get killed.
Give the writer, director and editor a raise - Immediately
Please!! This is the kind of dark gritty Star Wars I have always wanted absolutely brilliant show!!
this!
That cosmic spectacle even made me tear up because how well they build that up throughout the 3 eps and it was so symbolic to how this sacred meteor shower helped our rebels escape. Man I love Star Wars so much.

This episode will go down in SW'rs canon history. It Was that good
I said the same thing earlier.. this wasnt just a great episode.. something shifted
Absolutely incredible episode!! - The ones who died were Nemik 😭, Taramyn (Former Stormtrooper), Lieutenant Gorn (7 years), & well Cassian had to put down Skeen after hearing that 😡

One of the most tense moments of tv this year without a doubt.
Seriously man this show has been way better than rings of power and even house of the dragon it’s soo good !!
This episode was immense! I haven’t felt Iike this since chapter 16 of the Mandalorian. But this was better because it didn’t rely on the nostalgia of old loved characters. It was just… immense 🤩
I enjoyed your reaction/review, take care guys 😊
We know Casian ultimate destination so learning what he got up to to get there is just so ... more please 😁
Let's be honest we all like nemik and know that he gonna die somehow, but damn i thought he gonna survive when Doctor help him but nope.
I felt the same way! I really thought the doctor would repair him and he would die later.
Not just that thought in the back of our heads that he was going to die, but the circumstances: Throughout the show, Cassian has a habit of sniff-checking his drinks, as though someone in the past tried to poison him. Seriously I haven’t gotten like that for a show or movie in years my feet even my feet where sweating hahah
Same here! My anxiety was through the roof beginning to end. 😱
Man o man! I haven’t felt that level of anxiety and excitement for a show in minute… I’m excited for what comes next.
Exactly the same bro!! I am actually against a lot of feminazi shows but this show really shows how a woman can be a strong and motivational person perfectly!
poor Mothma getting no-one turning up for her talk to the senate - and then the news hit and they all leave.
This show is so good love how it portrays views from many different angles the director of this show knows what he’s doing I’d say this is the best show that came out this year and probably even a few years prior
this episode was such roller coaster.
definetely the best episode (so far) without a doubt.
That flight thru the eye scene is basically Star Wars meets Mad Max Fury Road…amaze-balls
Wow! I cannot believe we got this quality of a show from Disney Star Wars I am actually still stunned been thinking about the show since I woke up 😅
Just remember the universal line in all the movies: "I've got a bad feeling about this." Works for every situation.
Appreciation comment for actor SULE RIMI as the Lt Gorn. His performance was stunning and a key piece in the plot. Great actor!
"ONE PATH, ONE CHOICE, WE WIN, OR EVERYBODY DIES!"
The episode was 🔥🔥🤙🏻😁
Fantastique épisode!!! I guess the next few épisodes Cassian is gonna go back on Ferrix to be with is "mother" and friends but because of the heist the Empire / ISB is gonna oppress the population more !!! And Cassian will read the Manifesto and be inspired to strikeback by joining the Rebel fully...
Just like 'The Magnificent Seven' - only three survived 🙂
Loved this sooo much.
I'm pretty sure Imperial retaliation will include Maeeva, (hope not but they got few targets to use their anger on), also he was seeking her sister since ep1., guess who's got connections to find her....
And in the meantime Andor got some reading to do....
Also the white haired ISB officer girl will want to push for more info, the other's will want the hunt for themselves and deny it, and my bet she will contact an information source they can't
restrict her access to.: the fired corp officer, with info in his head.
Blood pressure check on this episode. So good. Just loving this show.

Anyone catch the "Climb" that sounded just like K-2SO
a bazillion months ago (before everything got delayed by Covid), somebody who was reviewing/reacting to Rogue One commented about the upcoming Andor series. He said 'Does anybody REALLY care about Cassian Andor'? Well, I gotta say, I guess a LOT of people do.
I call it Rogue Onesday 😆 and sorry Wendy. I knew at least one team member was dying. I didn’t see that many going.
The manuscript that Nemick left Cassian will change him into the rebel he became.
For all the people who were complaining how this show is slow, boring, blablabla... Well, for one, I'm glad the writers actually let us spend time with these characters so that when they inevitably have to go, we actually FEEL the hurt ! I would have loved to see Finn... CLIMB! Famous last words for people and droid friends of Andor.
With names like Greedo, Sidious and Maul etc in Star Wars, i shouldn't roll my eyes at 'Doctor Quadpaw'. But i did. 😄
but all those names feel like actual names, quadpaw just feels lazy and doesn't have the same ring to it like the others.
OMG. The heart rate on my Fitbit is off the charts.
Just....wow. 🙂
So freaking good, wasn’t a massive fan of the slow burn but what a pay off, epic! Great reaction guys
Great episode. 9/10
WoW, what an episode, up there with the best heist films merged with WW2 movies such as "Where Eagles Dare", I get big vibes concerning the latter, perhaps Gilroy is a Big Fan of the Eastwood-Burton classic. Andor keeps impressing like this, HoD has major competition for Best Drama Emmy
We go back to Ferrik, becasuse the trailer had scenes with Denise Gough's character there along with that Prefect Dude and Riots. Probably security video of Cassian from Aldani sends Densie to Ferrik.
Andor paid for his way into the rebellion: 1) He could have stolen the money himself. And has a whole town if not planet of people who, if he paid, would likely cover his 6. Better visuals than….any of the sequels, BOBF, and Kenobi? What a masterpiece of filmmaking
If only Disney took the time and care for shows people actually wanted BEFORE they made this show nobody asked for.... they would have a LOT more people watching this show right now. Just so good!!!
This is actually my favortie arc in the series. People may like the later one but I really like all the characters and plotting and action going on.
Love your reactions! Thanks for posting. Your reactions mirrored mine
And It looked like Skeen let the other guy die by not covering him.
I've been watching lots of your reactions and just realized I had forgotten to sub.... so now you have another sub.... congrats to 61 700 subs. :)
Thank you!
I think it was a test, from the Scarsdar Character because I think he knew there was a trader or someone on the mission that was going to take it all.
Thanks Wendy and Dustin 👍So…the ones who did not make it were considered traitors, if looking at it from the empire’s side 🤔hmm, interesting. This episode was so intense; been dying to see how others reacted to it as well; and you’re the first! 👏😃

Well, I think he’ll go back to Ferrix and see how the Empire has clamped down there while he was gone. And that’ll get him pulled back into the cause!
Lets goo🔥👍🏻😄
I think Andor is going to read that manifesto and completely turn to the rebel cause leading him to reach out to find the rebels.
I’d laugh to if I knew that I had a hand in ripping of the entire imperial senate
if skeen lied about his “brother”, what other things did he lie about? i’m glad he’s gone!
If youre not a main character in Star Wars, then you can bet on if you get shot once it means RIP.
14:06 Okay...Han Solo...or Cassian Andor?

It’ll create this rising tension filled crescendo with fireworks at the end.
how? dedra is white. cassian's sister is not.
@@ISavant Cassian's sister is blonde
@@calarencrow7480 she's played by Bella swarc who is definitely not blonde, or even white, you need to get your eyes checked
@@ISavant You're right the actress is not blonde. In some of those shots, maybe it was the lighting, but she looked blonde. FYI just because the actress is not blonde does not mean she doesn't get hair coloring for roles.
@@calarencrow7480 you're still gonna pretend that cassians sister gets a random nonsensical race swap?
You will sleep when this done…
I washed yesterday
Cassian shot first!
Are they the first ever gay couple in SW'rs?😃🥰
Gorn died. It's not a mystery, he's dead.
Getting really tired of seeing the guy who played nemek die in both of my favorite shows 😢
I feel like I’ve seen him on something else but idk what hahaha
@@lorddaquanofhouserastafari4177 he was James on the end of the f**king world 😢
Noone will get This but the show ended like the killing joke but with a single character instead of two laughing at the news
