I too suffer from Plantar Fascism from decades of being a runner. The only thing that *really* helps me is rolling foot on a lacrosse ball till I find the tightest area, then holding it there and putting as much of my weight on it as I can tolerate for a 10 count. You may cry, that's perfectly normal.
The other thing is a foot massage in Hong Kong (there are places on every block, ppl walk a lot there), and it's the most delightfully painful experience. You might also cry, that's perfectly normal.
