I upgraded to 8GB ram and I got the 240 SSD now just following your video,. Its so superfast now after upgrade thanks again. Hope you make more videos.
@@NaweenTripathi i bought both ram and the ssd online here in Manila but the item looks like made from China. Its cheaper here. the 8gb ram cost me 27 us dollars and the 240 gb ssd cost 27 us dollars. I just followed the video i did it by myself.
I have one of these I bought in 2015, and I did these upgrades soon after. It came with Windows 7, but I immediately upgraded to Windows 10 as it had just come out in July of that year. It never performed as I wished, but I always loved the physical size of the machine for my writing. This year I put MX Linux on it, and it's an awesome little machine now. I love using it and I'll keep it as long as it still works.

I am no computer person! I followed your directions and successfully replaced and upgraded the RAM. I also bought the 240GB SSD, but how would I put the operating system back on it? This is my moms laptop (she is 75), so I can't really upgrade the operating system because she won't know how to use it.
