He goes to the time chamber, gets stronger, fights imp cell and beats him handily so much so that he again, in his arrogance, lets imp Cell absorb 18 to become perfect Cell because he thinks he can still beat him. He gets his ass demolished and essentially dooms the entire universe because of his arrogance. You'd think at some point he'd realize just because you beat the person who was stronger than you before doesn't make you the strongest ever. He never learns this despite it happening over and over, I mean it happened like 4-5 times on Namek alone. Goku is confident because he knows when he can't beat someone, like during the cell games. That being said, I like Vegeta way better as a character than Goku.

Leslie is the perfect example of how a high end home cook can outperform a mediocre chef he was cocky and abrasive but his skills were undeniable the fact they kept putting him in the pressure tests was evil to anyone that had to face him
Leslie was always my favorite no matter how much they diss him about his attitude. Most of the time he was provoke, other times he was confident as a cook. But the one thing they could never deny was how much of a good chef he was. He was on the pressure test more than any contestant has been and survived the most. If that doesn't say anything, I don't know what does. His experience shows and I know he's portrayed badly on the first half of the season but came on top on the later half. Too bad he didn't win. Still an amazing chef all the same.

Leslie was always my favorite no matter how much they diss him about his attitude. Most of the time he was provoke, other times he was confident as a cook. But the one thing they could never deny was how much of a good chef he was. He was on the pressure test more than any contestant has been and survived the most. If that doesn't say anything, I don't know what does. His experience shows and I know he's portrayed badly on the first half of the season but came on top on the later half. Too bad he didn't win. Still an amazing chef all the same.
