Ive been loving flying the thai F 5. When i cant find a target for AGMs i usually go hunting Ka 50s. I find the AIM9s struggle locking them sometimes. Or i just end up being to close😅
Saw this one between the squad vehicles and immediately told my friend who is new to the game to research that thing (as soon as he is done with leopard since we playing german tanks). Seems like a great squad vehicle yeah. F5E is already decent and this gets pyton 3

Considering that if we got far enough the upgrade of this thing F-5TH super Tigris would be a hell of an opponent considering what it can do and carry like the derby or python 4s or 5s and considering gaijin don’t mind giving planes weapons they never got irl they can push this thing up to 13.0 easily with the derby and python 5s
I've seen people doing that a LOT lately - J out to try and deny someone a kill rather than take the L. Its the worst poor sportsmanship I've seen in the game, and its happening a lot ....
@@TimsVariety Most of the time it credits someone with the kill at least. On the other hand it's infuriating seeing someone nose dive into the ground to avoid letting anyone get the kill credit bc they're a sore loser. They really need to just give kill credit or something for those instances...

Yes, its notably better when the history segment is later in the vid. I still think the video flows MUCH better with it at the beginning though, so I haven't made up my mind if I'm going to make it a permanent change or anything. I may end up just moving it later in the vid for shorter "quick" reviews, covering minor update versions of planes I've already reviewed. The JAS-39C for example, where I've already reviewed the JAS-39A, and the real-world history/context is just an update to info I've already presented elsewhere.

This thing coming into the game couldn't have come at a better time; when it dropped, I was heading out towards Bangkok in a week (for my first excursion out of my native Philippines). The fact that this is the answer to Japan's Rank VII grinding question makes it even more attractive for me (as well as the interesting factoid that Thailand's current ruler, King Rama X, is legit qualified to fly these along with F-16s and 737s). And you've probably heard this from other commenters, but I definitely do prefer getting hit with the historical yapping first (it's basically the one reason I even watch you at all compared to other WT creators haha).
I had a whole section in the 'history' segment discussing King Rama's pilot background, but had to cut it for length :-( Really interesting guy to read about.

I think you forgot one of the most important bits of information regarding the radar which is that it doesn’t have IFF so it cannot be relied on in sim for that.
Rather than list everything it doesnt have, I just mentioned its 2 targeting modes and that it has no other advanced features. Combined with the stat card shown in the corner, the lack of IFF should be fairly obvious.
