Art is about expressing yourself. There is nothing wrong with making something you feel. Also people appreciate those honest feelings. Because honesty is something which is rare in this world.
The best timing: I clicked on the video, read this comment about honesty and then look up at the video only to see a simply piano ad where some actor talks about their story with the piano. Honesty at best.
So my art teacher turned down a flipbook I made last year. I made one that You inspired me to make. You inspire me so much. You helped me that day because when I got home, I just binge watched you. You are so happy and motivational. Thank you. I am working on a flipbook about a shark without his right fin, but he still finds a way to get around it.
I’m a musician and one of my faviroute quotes is by Beethoven-“to play a wrong note is insignificant; to play without passion is inexcusable” and I think this transcribes over to anything really. Keep animating and living life with passion 🙃

When I saw that flip book it reminded me of my sad times and how every of my friend helped me get throw it I also I love the honesty and the thoughts about how you can be sad Becuase we all have a sad moment in our life but when I saw this I was happy and made me know that every thing is going to be ok
Im am a person that just needs to be sad when I feel down, and most people ik try to fix it but it ends up making me feel worse. Why is it difficult to quote a Bible verse? I quote any ancient literature that I find to be appropriate in the moment, especially if the message teaches something. I think of Confucius’ writings all the time haha.

@Pizza Maria I guess that is what I find odd... how does quoting the Bible have anything to do with faith? You could quote any ancient book that has some wisdom to it... or if the quote has a good message. Since Andy comes from a Western background (presumably ), it doesn’t surprise me at all that he would quote a book more dominant in that culture.
The creativity is strong with this one. That's what quarantine does to us, we feel isolated and lonely. But, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. We all believe in you, we just have to get through this. We are humans, after all. There is nothing wrong with expressing yourself through art, that's what it's all about

Omg when I draw, I draw for hours upon hours.. when I finish drawing, it's like 5am and I need to get ready for school. I don't like doing a lot of work (I have a massive hw pile) but my friends always says "wow you're so 'opposite of lazy' for drawing so much" and I'm like..no.. I'm lazy af, I just like drawing Idk why it doesn't feels like a chore.. it's like playing games.. some people play games everyday and get to the highest rank and a lot of people say wow to them about how determined they are when they're just doing what they love and they're good at it
Being sad isn't bad, it's just an emotion no one likes. Sometimes you NEED to cry, it helps let loose of what's stuck inside. No one should be ashamed of crying or embarrassed about it... Everyone does it even at the most strangest of times. Please never be ashamed to let loose of some sad emotions. Life is life, it's hard to understand that sometimes but it's true, either way, left or right front or back there will always be a reason to cry, be sad etc... It could be that your being bullied and being told no one likes you, it's not nice so you want to cry. Think of the tears like them words just leaving yourself and going to find someone else. Edit: The last few days I've been in highschool, I have found it difficult. My phone has also broken and that's sad, I have been struggling to find a new one. So I just want to let tears out. It's difficult even the slightest things are. Please never be ashamed of the feeling of being sad... There will always be someone who likes you. Stay safe ❤️

The creative zone is hard to find but when your in it, it is awesome like you said! I think this is one of my favorite ones you did. I feel like when you tell a story with emotion from the heart it speaks more powerfully than one that might have been more pleasing to the viewer or the one you weren't into making it and felt as if it was a job or something. it's great to express your feelings. never feel like u have to make positive things all the time, that's not as creative as u could be! u should express your feelings in any way possible, from watching movies and crying your eyes out to making flip books! keep up doing what u do best :)
You cant have happiness without sadness. And sometimes the best thing to do for a friend that's sad is just sit with them. I really felt this because I suffer with depression and let me tell you when a really bad depression day hits me its hard to do the simplest tasks, and sometimes I wish someone would sit with me not asking questions or trying to "fix" what's wrong because a lot of the time there's nothing to fix. This little flip book made me smile today because that's how it can be and that other figure is how people should react more to people who are depressed. To anyone reading this that may need it today, there's nothing wrong with being sad or anxious it happens and for some it happens more then others never think you're broken or wrong and dont be afraid to ask for help if you need it. 😊

Hi, I'm an aspiring animator. I've been animating for a couple years now, and I intend to pursue it as a career. If you have any advice on improving animations and/or going into that field, it would be much appreciated. You are such an inspiration, as well as the reason I got into animation. I'm sorry to hear that you've been going through a tough time recently, and for you to still post the video even though the animation was outside the "norm" took courage. This was a great video, with a great message. Keep doing what you do as long as it makes you happy.

Thank you for that verse. It was what i really needed. Recently my friend died in a car accident and it’s been really hard to get over. And i found that being around his family and weeping for him with them made it more bearable. So thank you. I will weep with those who weep. God bless you for that.

I'm actually glad you posted this. I been feeling sad for 3 days in a row bc of depression. I seen this and was like "let's see what he has to say." So I watched and it actually helped a little bit.
