I think you need to do an uppdate on this video since so much has changed 😊 am currently trying to decide between theese two and there are no good comparing videos out there that are about the current versions
Yes, that's definitely planned for the future. :) Generally though, the Summit is more for jogging and really rough conditions, and if you don't need it for these things, then the Elite 2 is a better choice. :)
No, for that you should at least get the Summit, but the best is to get a 3 wheel / fixed wheel model made specifically for jogging. Check out this video, if you haven't seen it yet, there's a section on running strollers: ruclips.net/video/XAIXvAjLOQk/видео.html
The seat can be adjusted to both upright and lying positions, but the upright position is probably a little more reclined than on some other strollers. I can testify from my own children though, that the seat is quite comfortable. :)
Im wondering which one of these I should get. I live in the city and use busses quite a lot, rarely a car. So how big the stroller is folded isnt the most important, but Im stil curious as to how much larger the elite is folded than the GT? I imagine it isnt much of a problem though since you can pop off the wheels should you be a little cramped for space. I do however plan on doing quite a lot of walking with the stroller. Mainly in the city area, but there are park areas with uneven terrain and bumps. I have a bugaboo cameleon 3 which is good for going shopping and such (and its very neat and small on the bus), but it isnt really the best for snow or trail walking (even with the rough terrain tires, I find them a little frurstrating cause you either go for the terrain tires or the small ones, so if you go from trails to a mall its quite cumbersome using the fixed tires). I figure the babyjogger strollers will be better there as I can lock the wheels if I want and have them swivel if I want. I like the all terrain capabilites of the elite, but Ive seen online its quite a long stroller? Which makes me think it might be to big to bring on buses? How much longer than the GT is it?
They are more or less the same size other than the wheels, but the GT is not really that good in terrain. The City Elite is roughly the same size as a Cameleon 3. If you don't mind the forward-facing seat, you will notice a BIG difference with the elite vs the Cameleon 3: way more stable, easier fold, and way more rugged / terrain capable. The City Elite is one of my all-time favorite strollers, up there with the Bugaboo Buffalo.

@@BarnevognverkstedNo I tried the city elite and ended up selling my Bugaboo Cameleon all together, I like the elite better in almost every other way. Easier fold (Even with the Bassiney), takes up less space the few times I do use a car, front wheel suspension is better, easier to stear one handed on uneven pavement and gravel (cause of the bigger wheel). I love it. I wish it had some sort of seat like the multix bag from TFK, but Its a small sacrifice for how great it is in other ways. I find the TFK to be quite cumbersome to fold (Its like 5 steps or something, and it often got stuck when unfolding, also dont like the canopy or how you do the recline , at least on the joggster Twist). Its also hopeless to get to the storage when baby is sleeping, the elites elastic sides make it easier. Love the magnetic peekabo windows too, and the huge canopy. Ive also tried the city mini GT, Its good for travel i would think (Its lighter). It handles more terrain than most other "travel" strollers imo, but not as good as the elite. The elite also feels more stable, not as prone to tip over. The elite also does good on snow. I wish it had suspension in the back too though, but my little one never Wakes up Even though there is a bit of shaking. I know the summit X3 and Thule urban glide and such strollers have better suspension, but I dont really need that large wheels or airfilled tires. Would be extra Wright and bulk for no reason, I dont jog. So Im keeping my elite. Its a good all around stroller. Good for city use, but also walking on trails and terrain.
The city elite and the buffalo are both discontinued. 😭 makes me wonder if they were to “well made” and the companies weren’t making 🤔 Since these are both discontinued, do you have a trails recommendation?
You're the second person to say this about the Eite, but it's still available on Babyjogger's website (at least the Swedish version), so it may just be a regional discontinuation. The TFK Adventure 2 is good as well, if you can get ahold of it, a little less convenient to fold, but solid quality for off-roading.

Can the child only be laying down or is that the most upright position? It doesnt look comfortable to sit in..
