I'm a USC fan and I was never impressed by Caleb. His body language on the sidelines would bother me in losses. Like he gives up and checks out. My NFL comparison for Caleb was Cam Newton. I think he's going to have some big highs and big lows and be out the league by around 30. Caleb is 6'1, when are teams gonna learn to avoid these smaller QBs.

Is it the OC fault Williams is clueless at reading the blitz. Most of the day Williams had time and missed open guys or held the ball so long because he can't read a defense in 5 seconds and then eats a sack. Maybe the kid just isn't good. Did this guy ever think of that? Talent doesn't make you good if the brain can't use the talent. Right now, Williams's brain is empty. He may end up being great. I remember when Danny and ALOT of other "Experts" said that The Bears was the best possible destination a rookie QB could go to? With that receiving core and that defense. Now, it's "OLine sucks, coach sucks, lost the locker room, run game sucks" and I agree, OLine is not great but then why tf was it the "Best" location in the beginning of the year?! Surely we knew who these guys were... Alot of scouts said Caleb's ceiling was higher than Jayden but Jayden was more pro ready.. So maybe Caleb has a crazy 2025 season, but this year, he's been atrocious even by rookie standards and a first ovr pick! Nix, Daniels, and Maye are doing better..

Idk why people can’t just realize Caleb isn’t any good. He’s DEF not generational and he can’t play within the structure of a play. If u watch tape he has guys open that’s he’s not hitting. Even if he gets an incomplete rather throw it than scramble into a sack. Drake Maye and Jaden and playing WAY better than him……..
