Yeah, they used the main theme from 3D land in this level, and also the spinning platforms and basically the entire level just reminded me of that game. It’s so underrated, deserves more love!

This really looks like an official Nintendo level, but even better, it was a lot of fun to see you try it!

I drew a custom Mario kart track a few years ago named cloud top garden and I thought I was really original with the name. And then I saw this custom level in this video and yeahh... Still think my track looks really cool
I spent my 7-year-old days playing this game. This level is a great game and although it is pretty straightforward, it has a lot of great design. Good job JuPaHe64
Honestly? To me this looks completely different to a Nintendo level. No clear enough theme, just random bits from other Nintendo levels stuck together, and weird decoration as well.
This level seems like it is from super mario 3d land, not 3d world haha (other than the mystery box and green stars and such, but I mean aesthetic and graphics)
2:58 you definitely would have died there if I didn't link a switch kill to the greenstar to disable the death area once you collect it I'm surprised Nintendo didn't code in that you can't die once you have the green star and are about to be warped out 6:03 the idea actually comes from New Super Mario Bros Wii and it was supposed to make it's appearance in Bowsers Castle but back than I wasn't sure if the effort of placing all MoveKeys individually or writing a script to do it automatically was worth it, especially when you have to use odyssey editor, (it's a pain to setup and check links in that program) with Spotlight I could just put the generation code into a general purpose debug function, that way it was super easy to see if my generation code was working and if not what to tweak, I plan on adding the feature to Spotlight officially, but I've said that about a lot of things so... Anyway thx for playing and for the shoutouts

i was looking at the sections of the video and at the end was thanks for watching and the bouncing on toads head in bowsers fury witch got me so of guard and i died of laughter
a thing i would improve is consistency. there is one spinning block near the start, then a moving platform section for a while, then near the end the level remembers it has a spinning block theme. i would also move the last green coin to the bottom of the slope, so u dont miss the actual green star. i would also use the mechanics to reach the goal.
Gotta go fast! Should be a Sonic level lmao. Actually that’s a good idea for a sonic game. Arcade-like timed challenges where you have to go fassst. Mystery box sonic.

Yeah the first parts feel really basic and flat, whereas nintendo usually start off their first level by trying to teach you the basic moves
