@@IceFoxTrainSpotting I disagree considering that 7/8ths of mania was old stages. the new stages we did get were excellent, I would appreciate more of them.
I spent YEARS looking for a tango version of Marble Zone 'til I found out Sonic Mania's unreleased version *is* electrotango I'm in tears, it's gorgeous
Tango is a musical genre originating in Argentina, which is danced in pairs, embraced and with exaggerated steps. It is always played with bandoneon, piano and in some cases, guitar or castanets. Over the years, tango has evolved and changed its instruments, but the bandoneon has remained. What SEGA did here I loved, as a good Argentine that I am, I would say that SEGA did a more than acceptable job
This makes me imagine Sonic as an energetic stealth game, using classic sneaking and high speed to blitz past ebemy sightlines before they even realize you're there.
This song really draws me in. I listened to this once last year and it was so stuck in my head, but I couldn’t remember where it came from. I thought it was a Professor Layton song lol. Glad I found it again.

I'M in love with this classic redo of Marble Zone Act 1! Is sounds like one of those romantic tunes that you would have to dance to from Rome, Italy or Argentina. This is the sort of thing I would expect to hear after a couple have just been hitched, Love this!
Composing and arranging are different things, Masato Nakamura was the composer of the first 2 sonic games. That being said this arrangement is the arrangement we always needed.
So I checked and yep, Tee did make a Marble Zone composition and this is it but it was made in 2011, before Mania was even thrown into the development phase
