Thank you for showing us that resort. So pretty there. Only thing missing is Starbucks coffee 😂. Hey bring your own next time, there is the coffee machine there

Thank you so much for sharing! My friends and I are booking for early February and I’ve been looking at a bunch of different reviews. Many people have said the beach wasn’t nice and the hotel appeared old, is that true? Your video shows it looking pretty great. Is the area safe in your opinion?

Hey! We went there back in January. Stayed in the Hideaway Diamond Club. The room was great and the staff were bending over backwards to provide service. The best part of Diamond Club was that the butler would make dinner reservations for you (no waiting in line at the restaurant to make your own reservations). Plus that part of the resort was a bit quieter.
The beach left a lot to be desired - tons of seaweed. But the sand was white and it wasn't too much of a challenge to secure a bed or lounge chair (at least where we were). The staff would come by and check-in to see if we needed drinks or food.
As for the coffee, there was a little cafe, near the shops and tour operators that, made decent americano's and latte's (and they had some great non-dairy options). It was better than the buffet and restaurants. You could also get ice cream and pastries there.
If you're looking for excursions, then definitely look into Isla Mujeres. We took a catamaran sail, did snorkeling and had lunch and drinks on the way over. The beach and the water are amazing there.
I also recommend getting private airport transfers, if you can fit it into the budget.

It was definitely on the older side but it didn't feel run down. I actually only went to the beach for the wedding, my husband and I preferred being at the pool. The beach seemed nice but I also have nothing to compare it to, it was my first time in Mexico. As for it being safe, I don't know if I can comment only because, again, first time in there and I don't have anything to compare it to, but I definitely felt safe at the resort! We had a really good time. Hope this helps!
