The love for these series has grown over the years exponentially. Kinda hating myself for waiting this long to buy them. Thanks for the info even though you'd think someone like me who grew up in that time would know that there was TV series beyond the original 2 mini-series but had no clue. Thanks for the review dude
So how about a review of the disc? Is this worth the upgrade from the DVD? Or is it a DVD to Blu-ray transfer? I sure hope it's in higher definition than the DVD!
To underline those well stated points compare on RUclips: SDCC 2019 Kenneth Johnson Discusses " V The Original Miniseries " Blue - ray from Warner Archive; put on the Net by Joe Vanourney I tought this make a good scientific reference point
Great review ... and it would be nice if they do convert the master film copy of the 19 episode TV series to Bluray 1080p I know they have a Standard DVD of the complete 19 episode series but I'm holding out optimistically , hoping they will make the conversion to Bluray.
Thank you. I agree completely. They could master the TV series and put it on Blu. The DVD is pretty old, so it would be nice to have an upgrade to 1080p. Maybe depends on how well the first and second mini-series sells? I think I'll hold out for the Blu Ray too.
usualy things that hard to find officialy on blu ray like these are mainly bootleg transfers from vhs or dvd with poor sound mixing and stretch picture quality that you can avoid them .

Does it really have great hd quality for modern tvs?
It’s okay. It’s an 80s tv show so it has its limitations

It has the Beastmaster in it, that alone makes this officially bad ass
Thanks..really great Blu-ray review of this..I believe “The Final Battle” has made it to Blu-ray as well. Can’t wait.
You're welcome! Yes, you can get The Final Battle on Blu Ray now. It's really cool!
The first episode of v the series Liberation day was very creepy and powerful!!!!!!!!
Hope the series is put on Blu Ray!
@@omegablu6881 it should be as a matter of fact i think it is available on Amazon
So it is the miniseries, then the final battle and after that a tv show right?
Yes, then came a very short-lived tv series.
Even my parents, that hate sci-fi, watched it in the 80s.
I remember watching it with my dad.
