Good luck with GSM!!! I went 12 rounds with them over the large Engage their flagship knife with the Atlas lock 2 years ago and they still haven’t resolved the problem. I’ve been buying coldsteel products since the 90’s since GSM took over well 🤬hope you have better luck than I did. Hate to say it but coldsteel is not what it used to be.

Since you gave away the company....which knife was it? Curiosity....I had their knives for years and not hit a snag. That being said, bad knives do turn up. Not gonna go fan boy on ya Donnie. Lol. I've seen Bucks fail and break into 3 pieces. I'd still give a Buck a chance. The occasional Friday night special as I call it, slips through QC. They m8ght test one out of every 100 or 1000. Or whatever their protocol is. By Friday night special, I mean it's Friday night and dude's brain is on getting a beer or laid or whatever...pick your poison. Three different models have had failures for me that showed very substandard HTs
