    i’m going crabbing on saturday, thanks for sharing this! usually i don’t get as much as i used to, but it’s a fun thing to do! i also throw my leftover bait to the seagulls 😊

    Thanks for posting this video. My father took me fishing on the piers at Robert Moses State Park on weekends way back to the early 1960s, during the late spring through the early fall. Before the causeway connecting Robert Moses to Long Island was completed, the only way to get to Robert Moses was ferry service from Captree or if you were a boat owner. The fishing was very good with flounders, blowfish, and blackfish caught in good numbers. The fishing back then was much better than it is now. Captree hasn't changed much since those days. The Captree fishing boats fished close to our location on Robert Moses, underneath or close to the causeway.
