That story of the "Little Girl lured into the Woods by a Witch" sounds an awful lot like Candy Cadets version of "Cassie lured into the Pizzaplex by the Mimic"

Candy Cadet's story is probably still referring to Vanessa. Her "revenge" is most likely coding and implementing the MXES Program, to seal away the witch, which is actually the Mimic. That lines up with the "She escaped but had scars" thing, where unlike Jeremy she actually survived encountering Glitchtrap, but she was mind-controlled into Vanny.
Probably make sense but there is more to the story (SO SPOILERS)

Candy cadet's story continues as it mentioned the woman who's now older. Wanting to seek revenge from the witch enters in the woods and encounters a boy who seemed willing to help her.

She has a therapist too so it makes sense « scarred for the rest of her life » and the boy is Gregory. She wants to escape with him and even if Gregory is very sus in the game again she wants to escape with him.

Think about it, the young woman, (Cassie) when she was a child, was lead by a sweet voice (The Mimic, using Gregory's voice) through a forest (The Ruined Pizzaplex) without hesitation. But after seeing the witch (The Mimic), the young child (Cassie) fought to escape, almost got burnt (Most likely got badly injured after the elevator crash,), but was scarred (Felt betrayed by "Gregory" but wasn't aware that it was infact The Mimic who cut the elevator!)
Later, she lived on to grow up, but way later decided to return to the forest (The Pizzaplex Basement) to get her revenge on the witch (Who Cassie might still believe is Gregory who tried to kill her!)
So could this be foreshadowing a future installment to Security Breach's story?!?!?!?!

In the files, the voice lines from the mimic posing as Gregory are labeled as „grimic“ or something, a combination between gregory and mimic, not sure if it’s actually grimic but I digress. Gregory‘s voice lines are labeled as „gregory“, and in the elevator scene, the voice lines are labeled as gregory, indicating that it was actually him who cut the elevator. Though the files could be misleading us

FNAF is always something where the fans will dig DEEP to figure out hidden lore and every little detail about the story, so maybe they purposefully kept the name as Gregory for the whole elevator ride. that would make sense since that weird glitch and doubled up subtitles felt too intentional imo.

At the start of the game, I thought you might be playing as Cassie's dad. Now, I think you might be playing as Cassie herself. Candy Cadet's story talks about a girl who was lured into the woods by a witch because she didn't distrust her, which could relate to Cassie being lured by the Mimic. She seemingly died in the elevator, but Roxy's voice post credits indicates she might have survived. Maybe now that she's "wiser", she's gotten to that room in Pizza Sim to get revenge.

I am still ongoing watching the series but all the animatronics here are shattered, not ruined. So I wonder if the character you play is Cassie’s dad or even Vanessa (after she was released from Glitchtrap by Gregory).

I think Candy Cadet is 100% taking about Cassie in the story about the girl and the witch. It specifically said the young girl got lured in by a sweet/soft voice (I.e. the mimic taking Gregory’s) voice) and that she escaped with a scar (probably gonna have some trauma and scars when your bestie drops you and the elevator you’re in to ☠️) and that she went back for revenge when she got older and smarter

Can I just say the sound design in this game is INCREDIBLE? The sound effects and music sound so ominous and creepy and I think its really well done!!!
The single thing that would make me freak out in this game would've been accurate surround sound, sometimes like in the food level I'll hear chica right behind me and then ring the bell and I can still hear her talking from behind me. That and sometimes it can be hard to tell in for example the Helpy first aid levels which direction the animatronic is coming from. Idk if it's just my PC or what.

Sheesh! A lot of these hard mode levels make me wonder if these are really actually happening or if it's all memories of an old worker/technician who never left his post or his job and just kept working and getting "exploited" for all he's worth.
Also, love that the new "Lefty" animatronic's name is "Carnie"! That's a nickname given to the game managers running the booths for the games at the carnivals (literally "Carnie" is short for "Carnival"). He seems to have been retired from bigger things to just Fazerblast.
Loved how they brought back Sister Location for one final set of nightmarish custom nights, all remade in VR! This seems like it'll take a while!

Help Wanted was awesome, but after binging your playthrough I think the sequel is actually better. I feel like the world's bigger, more immersive environment, bringing back some underrated characters, and personally I love how the minigames look and how diverse they are. Really makes you feel like a Fazbear employee.
I think the puppet plushie being the reward when you type in the 1983 code might give us a clue on one of two things. The first being when the Puppet might've been made or the second being when Charlotte is killed since it has the purple tears on the mask and in the graphic novel of The Fourth Closet is Charlotte's grave which has 1983 as her death date.
I missed it somehow and the video is long I'm struggling to find the scene, when exactly does he get the Puppet ragdoll?
I'm watching through again and I'm still not seeing it. I'm guessing he either got her last episode or around here 22:30 and didn't show it for some reason?

I wonder if we’re playing as Cassie’s dad. After all, Cassie can’t come back home bc she’s trapped, so it makes sense her family would look for her. Maybe her dad knew she was going to the pizzaplex, so he went there to find her? Or had a feeling she might’ve gone there? And maybe a lot of this is because of the vanny mask maybe messing with his head, making the vr world and real world hard to tell apart?
It does seem like it’s really tying into ruin, with the ruin animatronics and things such as Roxy’s arm being present. In ruin, Roxy fought off the mimic, and could’ve lost her arm. And the story candy cadet tells definitely relates to Vanessa, it seems like most of her story is told through the vr games instead of it being like up and present with her telling it to us, or with us actually seeing it happen. But also the whole “being lured by a friendly voice” could relate to Cassie.

The fact that we can take off the in universe VR mask in this game within a game is just crazy. Help Wanted is already the most meta game in the series, but this one really shows us how meta they are.

Sounds like Cassy to me, lured into the Pizzaplex by the Mimic using the voice of Gregory, a boy who would help sooth her when she felt upset. Gregory then betrayed Cassy and got dropped down an elevator shaft (which would cause injury or scarring) and when she grew older she would come back and get revenge on the Mimic for luring her or Gregory for betraying her.

Everyone is focusing on the Candy Cadet stuff, but the thing that really stands out to me is how Carnie repeatedly says "You look like someone who has kids." which might actually be a really important detail. Specifically I think it gives us an idea of who we are playing as and this line shows that it isn't Vanessa. She's too young, in the low to mid-twenties range at most. You wouldn't make that kinda remark to someone around that age. Rather if we think of someone who has a kid and is conspicuously mentioned in the series while simultaneously being strangely absent, that would be Cassie's dad. Someone who we also know was a mechanic at the mall and would have gone through the training in the staff only minigames.

Wow Hard Mode gives Ruin vibes since everything is completely destroyed but ngl i wish there was an actual Sister Location Custom Night where you would choose whoever to deal with and good to see Candy Cadet once again.
The story of the girl being led into the forest by the witch kind of reminds me of Vanessa from the movie. Where she found out about her father’s horrible actions and was scared mentally, but when she was older willingly went back to help take him down with Mike.
Alternatively it could be the story of Micheal Afton, the witch being the sins of his father (the scars being the nightmare animatronics?) and going back willingly when he was told to look for what was left behind

Hearing the Hard Mode song for first FNAF Help Wanted again just made me uneasy yet again. That song creeped me out so much back then and it hearing it now produces the same feeling. I love it!
To be honest, FNAF, and this game has been the one silver lining this whole year.

I think Candy Cadet was talking about Cassidy not Vanessa. And in the next game Cassidy will got back to the PizzaPlex "dont ask how" to get revenge on the Witch "A.K.A. the mimic" who lured her down their with a Voice "A.K.A. GREGORY" you see what Im going at.

I think the candy cadet is my favorite storytelling device in all of fnaf. It is so simple and not that scary but all the stories are so grim and just vague enough to be sinister. Except for the ones that are just sinister tho but I got really excited when they brought him back in ruin and when they brought him back here
I feel like the second story from Candy Cadet sounds like it could be Baby/Elizabeth? Since she does make appearences. "who when she was little, was lead into a dark forest by a witch and was almost beaten" (maybe the witch is the mimic, being used in older animatronics like Baby since she does have some AI and voice mimicing, kinda a reach tho) "she had fallen for the friendly voice without discernment, and was lead astray" (Elizabeth being killed by Baby?) "she had escaped before being thrown into the oven" (Pizza sim? Or maybe Sister Location, then Pizza sim or something) "but would have a scar for the rest of her life" (her being scrap baby and/or something else) "when she had grown, she sought revenge on the witch and entered the forest again willingly" (Her going "back" to the Pizza Plex/original location to seek revenge against the mimic) "this time with the confidence of age and experience" (obviously it has been some time since Elizabeth became Baby so she has possibly "matured" a bit and been learning)
Although it lines up pretty well with it being vanessa too, luring her into his trap through Help Wanted, mimicking someones voice to get her to trust him or something maybe (he does say "hello? Can you hear me" which is what tape girl says, so maybe if tape girl is vanessa then maybe when she was playing, the mimic was using Jeremys voice or something? She obviously escaped before anything bad happened, but she would've probably been mentally scarred or something from it. Only confusing part is the "when she had grown" part since she was seemingly already grown when she was originally posessed and even if she was a bit younger she stayed posessed until she was at least a young adult. I'd assume it's just a euphemism or something since the whole thing is like a retelling of events that have happened.
I'd like to mention tho for anyone who is interested enough to be this far into my comment 😅I feel like Help Wanted 2 could be like a sequel to Security Breach, but a prequel to Ruin? Obviously that depends on who we play as in HW2 (I'm putting bets on Gregory, idk if there is an answer or not I still need to play a few more levels) but in the hard mode Roxy makeover, at the end we put the same faceplate on her that we see on her in Ruin, and I seen a bunch of people thinking at the time that they changed the design just to work as a security node and there is no canon reason for it Steel Wool just did it to better fit the story, well now we have some proof that whoever we play as in HW2 might've been who put the faceplate on her, so now the question is how did she become a security node? Was it "our" doing? Did someone do it after the fact? Assuming we are Gregory, it would make sense that we purposefully made her a security node as to make it a little less easy to deactivate it all. Now I know that the mimic has allegedly been down in the ruins of the pizza sim place or whatever for a very long time, but I'm theorizing that MXES was definitely made by Gregory and Vanessa, mainly because of the fact that the Pizza Plex got built. Before all that the mimic had little to no influence on the outside world, but once HW came out and the Pizza plex was build, they started using the mimic program again, giving it a link to the outside world and influencing people to try and help it escape. Assuming we play as Gregory in HW2 he's already now aware of the danger of the mimic and his influence on the Pizza Plex, so he starts putting security nodes around the place, and I assume one of them is very obviously the faceplate we put on Roxy.
I think that story might be about Cassidy, actually. She was killed as a child by William Afton, and after her soul became one with the puppet animatronic she set out to get revenge on William (forcing him to live through ultimate custom night)

The theater level with shattered Chica in it was genuinely terrifying for me, the way chica lurks about and the eery environment just adds to it. I feel like glamrock Chica is so so so underated dont get me wrong i love Roxy and the others but Chica was actually the scary one in sb and ruin and made sb feel like old fnaf agan. Surprisingly sb is one of my fav fnaf games bc im a sucker for the 80s lol! Also shattered and ruin Chica have amazing designs and are perfect for setting the horror vibes,so yeah im just saying Chica is terrifying in vr and i hope more ppl see how underratted she is. In sb she barely had any personality apart from on stage and when she was shredding in her room, or when she eats the garbage lol and thats all!!!z

I think Vanessa was scarred by William Afton as a kid, or has some relation to him. This is why she joins Fazbear Entertainment. But, she gets intruiged with glitch trap, and ends up being taken over by him.

I haven't seen the rest of the episodes yet, nor have I seen any of the theories that are currently being thought up, but as of 3 minutes into the video, I'm wondering if the protagonist is actually The Mimic. Maybe you play as The Mimic that was trying to learn all these skills and understand things from the past in order to mimic other characters, such as Jeremy. Maybe that's why the achievement is called 'Remember Jeremy'? No idea! Just a quick thought!
