Wow I like this “xxx revisited” series! A lot of ships got buffed as the game version updated. “If you have too many ships😂like me, you would always be pleasant after every little update”
I got honors with that piece of....Ship a year or more ago and it was like hell! I still have flashbacks with her. Doesn't matter how much they buff her or how many wonders you tell me about her.... I'm not going back, No Sir! Ever since I sold her I'm a happier person.
Some improvements but unfortunately the buff can't fix the horrible fire angle of the rear quad turret. As an aside, KGV probably the most butchered ship in the game (battle cruiser) compared to real life - where it had the heaviest protection of any BB built (bar the Yamato) but with weakish main armament.
Great video as always Terry. Hey I’ve been having this question on my mind for a while and would really like your best guesstimation on when you think they’ll offer the epic commanders? I’ve been really wanting to get Jesse B. Oldendorf for the USA because his unique skill Crossing the T (-3% dispersion and +10% citadel damage) and more excitingly the APCS+ 🤩. I haven’t found a single video or Reddit post covering him. Vermont was my first t10 and tbh it was probably because I lucked out and got Dewey super early on making the line quite enjoyable. I used your exact commander load out too and you’re absolutely right about APCS making a noticeable difference. Dewey’s Deck protection + is also pretty nice as I find myself able to tank quite a bit more at longer ranges. But I’m just imagining Vermonts guns with APCS+ and how monstrous they will become. And from what I understand this Jesse B. is the only US commander with APCS+. Now the 7.5% doesn’t sound like much but it is an additional 50% to the original 5% and since it’s the Vermont well… oo boy! I would have to sacrifice Dewey but after watching your Minnesota video the other day I decided to take her out for a spin and forgot how much I enjoyed her, so much so that I forgot I bought the historical camo. I think I actually got through Minnesota faster than I got through the Kansas lol. So I would just switch him over. Anyways, could you provide any insight or at least when you think they might (re?)introduce him. Thanks Terry!
Sorry to go off topic, but with regards to the turret bug; I caught my Cleveland’s rearmost secondary turret being effected by it. Checked the other American cruisers with the same guns and the same arrangement and found them working properly. I don’t think the turret ‘bug’ is a bug at all. I think it is intentional, sort of a ghost nerf on certain ships.
❓ By "turret bug", are you guys referring to the issue with some of the center mounted main guns on ships like the Atlantico, where the central main gun turret will erroneously start trying to turn around to the opposite side, unless you keep your UI display pointed 90° perpendicular to forward? If I am viewing my screen at any angle forward of 30° to 45° off sideways, the G*d d*mned center turrets start turning backwards and around to the other side! That particular turret bug doesn't happen with 4-turret battleships like the Ismail and Bismarck though.
@@HighlanderNorth1 Yes, this is the one. Typically it’s the middle turret(s) (including the Atlantico, Amagi, Hyuga etc), and some ships with three front turrets have the third turret affected as well. And with some ships, like the Ochakov, it affects all five rear turrets - absolutely maddening on a destroyer that typically needs to be constantly manoeuvring. [edit] that should of course be the Okhotnik with its seven single barrel turrets, five of which are at the rear of the ship, rather than the Ochakov…
@@kardy12 Thanks. I wanted to make sure we were all on the same "bug" page. I've also heard of a bug that involves some of the older WW1 era battleships with secondary guns mounted in sponsons sticking out of the sides of their hulls(instead of in smaller turrets sitting on top the hull). I'll have to dust off my Brooklyn and see if it's 3rd front turret remains pointed in the right direction.
Question: So no CCs choose the XP elite bonus. BUT... Do the other bonuses get you through a tech tree grind faster?? Especially if the ships arent that great?? I know actually testing that theory and examining actual numbers would be a huge effort. Ive fallen in line with everyone else and havent chosen the XP bonus since I was a newb, but Im still not sure if its the right choice... Thoughts???
The King George V when I started to play it was hell. The ship was pretty terrible, especially in it's dispersion. I did rapidly learn I had to get close though, to make it work. And at close range, it was something I could work with. I also did play firing HE at BB's at long range, but mostly didn't bother shooting CL's at long range cuz it would be either a semi-pen or a miss. Now, the ship is looking very fun to play. I'd rebuy it tbh, and maybe get the Duke of York along with it, since I have been impressed by the ship (historically and also because of it's AA). DOY looks like a good ship to play. I stopped my grind in the British BB line at the Monarch, but I wanna get the Conqueror.

🤔 Huh... But where can I find this "Triple X" battleship you speak of?
i'm waiting the Tirpitz revisitiation
Once a Tier 7 BB I like but with the Update and buff, might a comeback to this ship.
I always bring my maxed out commander to lower tiers just to get that extra edge 😅

Nope it's a confirmed bug and wargaming is working on it

It’s been affecting ships for, what, at least a year now? How long can it take to fix it?

I never thought KGV was that bad
Though Duke of york is better in my opinion
Super video ❤️❤️❤️❤️very nice 👍👍 my humble request please can you play with conqueror?
Lion next week, and then Conqueror
RN BBs are like vanilla ice cream... On the up side, it's ice cream😕...
Everybody's gangsta until some pan asian destroyer shows up
