I can't understand how the Conor fight will always be there if the Conor fight isn't even here now and the Conor fight has just been a figment of our imaginations for the past 2 years.
Connor is looking at the money going out in Saudi Arabia and will be itching to go and get some of it, he’s got 2 fights left on his UFC contract, he will fight out his contract.
Because Conor will keep pretending to want a fight Chandler can have other fights and when he feels like it Conor will still be there craving attention and avoiding fighting
Connor wants an easy big money fight, Chandler isn’t an easy fight. Lose - lose if you’re Chandler lmao

Why does Chael think that people like Izzy?
Because he looks at the numbers when he does an Adesanya video. And people like Adesanya so the numbers are high.
I like Izzy, him losing to periera 3 times then coming back and knocking him out was inspirational.
Never once did he said the people like Izzy, he said, Izzy and Suger understands the marketing game. I’m not a huge fan of all 3 but they make UFC more interesting, they pull numbers.

There’s a lot of reasons to dislike Izzy but at the end of the day I enjoy watching his fights. And yeah like everyone else says he helps make the sport more popular which is the more important thing when this sport is so young and is still growing and gaining new fans everyday.

Definitely not true. First of all, Conor is either near the end of his career or may be done entirely. Second, when RDA was scheduled to fight Conor but opted to pull out, that fight was never rescheduled.

Chandler beats any UFC fighter who is not in the elite category. Patty pimplett, Bobbie Green, Jim Miller, Dan Hooker etc
I don't believe he entered the UFC just to fight mid carders. He wants to be UFC champion. That is his problem. Chandler can touch the UFC elite but he can't beat them. Conor didn't just come to fight mid carders either. He wants to be UFC champion one last time. instead of risk being beat by almost elite Chandler , he will probably pivot hard to jump the line and get a instant title shot like cejudo did.
@@kev30631 in order to be a champion he would have to fight real contenders. He is instead sitting out for a money fight that may or may not happen. This is not a champions mindset. He is a stepping stone for up and coming fighters imo
Before it landed on chandler. Now and down the line it should be chandler because of TUF and because of the work he already put into the fight.

If Conor really does have a jacked toe, there ain't NO WAY IN HELL he's beating Chandler.... who's been training for 5 years straight! So, in fairness, Conor failed the "Tuff-guy" contest for sure...but not the "Comon sense" test. He also failed the "Don't break your F+CKIN' TOE BEFORE A HUGE FIGHT TEST!" 😕

I think Michael Chandles needs to hold on to the McNugget fight. This should be an important message to anyone out there chasing after a big payday instead of doing what you’re supposed to be doing.

It's always there in the sense that a mirage is always there. You can see it, but you'll never touch it. If Conor fights in the UFC again I'll be pretty surprised. If he does any more than 1 more fight in the UFC I'd be floored.

Conor's next fight will be against someone he can slam dunk win against. That is not Micheal Chandler, So it probably won't be Chandler.

I just can’t for the life of me understand why Chandler would continue waiting on Conor. He’s so focused on “Red Panty Night” that he’s missed out on what could have been 3-4 black panty nights by now. I like black panties, sure maybe not quite as hot as a red night but, as my dad always told me “Lower your standards, you’ll get a lot more 😺”
I don't think Chandler just wants to fight a "body". He wants a match up with stakes and a clear advancement to grander opportunities.
You then avoid getting slotted as just a guy who opens a ppv as a first match or is a UFC journeyman midcarder.
@@kev30631 I’m not sure even beating Conor would give him any clear advancement to bigger opportunities tho. I mean Conor wasn’t doing well before the leg injury, he looked on the downside of his career. Now add in 3+ years of inactivity, a diet of whiskey and blow and a ton of steroids and weight gain. I really can’t see him coming back batter than he was before the injury.

I remember another chael 101, a fighter should take the fight that offers the biggest reward with the least repercussions. If you're connor that is the trilogy with diaz. At present day chandler is more dangerous than diaz and connor knows this from the TUF show. Connor can afford to wait for safer and better paying fight with diaz. Connor is also probably thinking legacy and wants the win. The win against diaz would be a bigger statement for his legacy. The chandler fight is much more risky and does really nothing for connor when compared to the diaz fight.
Conor is going to fight a Diaz (Nate or if Nick wins) because they don’t kick, they have the ability for box office numbers and they won’t wrestle McGregor giving the fans a better fight.

If Conor is aiming at fighting in the Sphere, then it would be a mistake for Chandler to stop allowing himself to be strung along. We are at the tail end of how much further Conor can drag things out. It's down to the healing of a pinky toe. The added sales of being the first match in the sphere and maybe the only one ever held would, I think, surpass that of the original PPV ticket. Even I'd like to see what that thing would do with such an event. And seriously, Conor could find anyone to take Chandler's place, even a 9 year-old girl would say yes to taking Conor's punches for as many millions as it will pay off. Chandler currently has made it through the selection process, gotten the nod of approval, and fits the fighter size required. The only thing better would be a steroid free-for-all and the best Dagestani from Khabib's gang.
So if I were Chandler, I'd hang on. If they need to resign anything, maybe he can add something in there to recover potential income over missing 6 fights.

neither Izzy nor Omailley will be the face of the company...Izzy had the potential early on until people noticed how weird he is and how most of his fights aren´t exciting...Omailley got exciting fights but no charisma whatsoever no matter how much he tries to compensate with his appearance...Pereira is more of a star than both of them only issue with him is he´s probably not going to be around much longer

I considered Izzy to be the face of UFC since October of 2019 after he beat Whittaker for the title and stopped being the face of the company in September of 2023 when he lost to Strickland. Izzy fought about once every six months and always called for the toughest fight. Too bad Izzy is 34.
It's a shame almost all of the really good fighters are so old now. Alex P is an awesome, active fighter who's willing to get in the cage with top contenders often and puts on great performances. There's nobody young in the UFC that has star power because they lack at least one of the following: fighting ability, personality and activity.
