With all respect to Smith and Dolidze, a win doesn’t do a massive amount for either of them. Still weird that they talked about every main card fight other than that one though, for sure.
Lopes is absolutely right - beating Ortega is certainly a #1 contender fight. But I believe he is biting off more than he can chew. I don't blame him for taking it, I'd take it too - but there is varied levels to Ortega and my gut says Lopes will find out and take an L finish. But that's okay, that's the name of the game... and if Diego can win, then my goodness - the world is his oyster and he'll deserve the next shot at the belt. I like Lopes for sure, very curious to see if he can make it happen. If he does, I can see him looking to get it done very quickly within the 1st or 2nd round.
