I ordered 5 of your mini sticks. Used 4 of them w aiders and I must say they are awesome. They bite into the trees so good . I had to use them on a smooth tree and they where solid. Glad I ordered them
This is very frustrating and I'm just watching from my office. It is a testament to your generosity that you share the info knowing that it will be more difficult for you to hunt. Also a testament to why it is good to keep quiet. Again, kudos to getting folks motivated and educated.
Dan love the building project, it’s coming along real nice. Love the opening Segway with the camera thief hahaha I was rolling on the floor laughing! Good luck out there. Keep up the great work. 👊🏼👍🏼 we will all be anxiously waiting the next video buddy!
Every time I watch Hunting Beast I get so pumped to go hunt myself! Every Hunter should have a good buddy to recount hunts or strategy it makes everything so much clearer. Not that I'm opposed to Hunting alone because I have for years. Ofcourse always really satisfied when my strategy does pay off but I think Hunting collaborations and discussions are essential. Thanks Dan and everyone @HuntingBeast for sharing the experience & knowledge 👍!
Hey dan I did exactly what you teach and litterly found the exact same thing! Pretty sure i was about a week off. Thank you for all the videos I really enjoy learning from them. This year I'm gonna HUNT LIKE A BEAST!!!
I was in Ohio for the opener and saw more trail cameras than deer. Once I found a spot to hunt a kid comes in to check his cameras. Very eye opening experience.
I saw tons of pressure just driving around on the central Wisconsin public spots. I also noticed a few trail cams in the spots I hunted opening weekend.
Always good watching you hunt Dan and the new fellow is a good friend Dave would appreciate you teaching another awesome guy to fill in for him BEAST style keep up the good work I mostly can't wait for your video's there some of the best I watch.
These are my favorite hunting videos hands down. Being a public land hunter from Michigan, I can relate with your tactics. Thank you for walking us through each hunt and explaining all the little details. That's what most of the other hunting shows are missing these days. Can't wait for week 2!
No worries. Most of those guys with cameras out will give up after a week or so and you will have less pressure. But you know this and I am sure you will keep adjusting to the differences in pressure. Good luck hope you get the one your after.
I highly recommend RADIANT FLOOR HEAT. I've got it in mine and it's literally the best thing I ever did. I've got a 30 x 40. I do have natural gas where I'm at, rather than propane, but I know others who use propane. I am in Michigan.
Hunter sign is everywhere around me. Went to a 250 acre property and counted 11 tree stands and 1 ground blind bunch of beer bottles and garbage around it. And you have to take stands down out of season so they are all sitting there illegally claiming all the good spots
Good video I notice at the end of the video when you two was talking a kennel in the background does one of you have rabbit dogs kennel is like what I have
Basing this comment strictly off the caption…..see what happens when you show people what to do? Lol public land hunting is the new trend. If you don’t public you don’t hunt bro! That’s the consensus. And when guys get on here and show people how to hunt on public 🤷🏼♂️ can’t be mad about more foot traffic.
Around 20 minutes while dan was going over the trash and all the bull an ad popped up and said “mobile hunting will never be the Same” dude wasn’t kidding.....
Word to the Wise I wouldn’t pour that apron until after all that gravel settles good and hard. I love the grave! My kind of humor. And congrats. I’m 51 and just got a nice shop 2 years ago. It’s a great feeling. Congrats!!!
I got a cell camera I set in June, I had 5 shooters biggest was 170 and multiple smaller bucks hitting this oak ridge point. We just had a riffle doe hunt before our bow season I wish the DNR would eliminate it went on for 10 days and I had two hunters make their way down by my camera. The spot went dead after their visit of hunting around my camera, it might suck but I actually learnt something how deer will not tolerate you in their core space. It’s been 3 weeks and the smaller bucks are just starting to come back. Dan, I feel you on the hunting pressure I got other areas I pre scouted to play the chest match.
I have so many spots that I want a camera in that I wont take in until I hunt. Even if its late oct. I feel if its not in there in summer dont stink it up trying to get a pic.
I had a buck on public in September that was way back. He was like that spike as in these smaller bucks usually get the shittiest bedding spots. He was a triplet yearling a year ago with 2 sisters. This year he has a yearling 7 point rack & his yearling brothers this year r both forkhorns. They r much better yearlings than he was but he's put on quite a bit of weight. The way I know this is that I do 6 weeks of scouting in the late winter & these deer like safety in #'s & survive the late winter together b4 splitting up into different areas in the spring. But I've had this happen in this staging area a few times now. I wear clean camo in full & I get video on the ground @ 10 yards. They r so interested in whatever moved them there ➕️ they r upwind of me so they catch their breath b4 moving on. This place used to be better b4 Covid & the deer sometimes have to run quite a distance to avoid dog walkers. Many people show up there & never see anything while I'm passing young bucks. They give up after hunting community holes & with a bike I avoid & go further back until the early November gun season where everything goes but that doesn't mean deer go anywhere. They r usually in their little pockets that I won't approach w/o a perfect wind & a hourly forecast.
I just purchased a home with land put in a mineral and food site soon after well I was dumping food on ground and then I put up a cam and a feeder and the bigger buck that was comeing in ever day like I watched him with binos alot has still not been back are seen since.........
Leaving stands on public is in my opinion a dick move. Unless you are elderly or can’t use a climber or a saddle or a hang on it’s kind of a dick move to just “claim” a spot for an entire season on public land. The cell cams everywhere I get that is also intrusive I wouldn’t be against only using them before and after season.
You need another cross for the ASS HATS littering the woods! DAN-plz do a review of the Leafgum boots when ya got some miles under them. A heartfelt THANK YOU from western NY! I’ve learned more in two weeks from your vids than 10yrs of hunting and I thank you!

Dan your always welcome in nw ohio I need a hunting buddy and I know I could learn a lot I’m 46 and I hunt public in nw ohio get ahold of me invitation sent👍
Another thing Dan you taught everyone. How to get way away from parking lots and other hunters go far back and overlook spots ,So know you can hunt by the parking lot lol👍

@@kylemartinson722 Early season NY public ain't too bad because we didn't pass crossbows yet for all of archery season. The day that happens it's going to get rough.

Blame the crossbow for most of the early pressure. Many rifle hunters have transitioned to crossbow. I really don’t know how anyone can argue that crossbow hunting has transformed the archery season and not for the better….
