But how in the world did you actually get the steering wheel off the car? I can't turn the wheel because the battery's disconnected, but I can't pop the little tabs unless I can turn the wheel because the steering column is in the way. Do I have to remove the plastic panels from around the steering column to get at this thing?
I know. My question: is there a way to safely remove airbag and replace the badge and there wont be any error shown by the ECU and the airbag will deploy in case of accident?

They are glued into place, and there is a going to be a spot remaining, so there is no real way to debadge it

@@569Sniper You just have to unplug the battery for about a half hour and then the airbag can be removed, and re installed.
