    Remember to fix on the side panel glazing strip to the bottom of the glass before screwing it all together. The video does not show this being done 😠

    Hi.
    Great video, we were pulling our hair out with the provided instructions or lack of. One question, if you know the answer or can cast your opinion-: why is there a rubber recessed strip in one of the long corner vertical channels, that connects the end fixed glass panel, to the frame, that has the sliding part of the shower front?
    It makes no sense to us, we couldn’t see a point to it and it was throwing us off.
    Thanks. Dave.

      It's a magnetic strip for the door to close to.

    • @Panrider4
      @Panrider4 3 года назад

      @@teresahappe9458 It’s not magnetic - it’s hard rubber and the door doesn’t close to it at all. It is completely superfluous and just helps the confusion when trying to follow the printed directions. They quote 1 - 2 hours to erect - what a joke. It took 2 of us most of the day!

      @@Panrider4 I'll take a look next time I'm at my daughters. It took 2 of us most of the day too. She is really happy with it now.

      @@teresahappe9458 My mistake Teresa. You are partly correct as the door ‘cushion’ that contacts the aluminium post contains a magnetic strip (hold a safety pin/ hair clip next to it.) Also the ‘hard rubber’ I mentioned hides another magnetic strip buried in the aluminium post ( hold a pin/clip to that to see.) So it is actually a very clever way of keeping the door closed.😀

    Can the green provided anchors be used to install these shower doors in a fiberglass shower? IF so, what size hole is made in the fiberglass for the anchors? The drill bit provided in the anchor bag is approx 1/8". I don't see this working to well.

    Can someone please tell me why I can't get the rollers to adjust to a tight fit ,I have a gap of 5-8mm bottom rail and wheel after I have fully adjusted from top roller wheel hinge

  • @Panrider4
    @Panrider4 3 года назад

    Doesn’t show the fact that the top rollers can be adjusted or the fitting of the seal on the bottom edge of the end panel.

    If you fit your shower tray up to the wall and then tile down to the shower tray like you should, you will have no tolerance, in other words the shower enclosure will be on the outside edge of the tray on the end panel and this was using Elegant shower tray and enclosure, just very poor manufacturing

  • @dennispaul83

    Really disappointed the shower tray 900mm x 700mm was installed to the wall and tiled down to the tray as it should. This means there was an overlap on the panel structure protruding past the tray, and 20mm adjustment was not sufficient. Poor, and wasted my money.
