Saint-Raphaël is bathed from southwest to east by the Mediterranean Sea. To the west and northwest is the associated commune of Fréjus, to the north, the Forojulian hamlets of Saint-Jean-de-l'Esterel and Saint-Jean-de-Cannes. At the extreme north-east of the hamlet of Trayas, is the seaside resort of Miramar dependent on Théoule-sur-Mer.
