In this video I'll show you how to make a wooden toy train with the wagons for my locomotive of my previous video, go check it out.
Edit: The video says 'for charity' but I decided that it takes to much time to make a train, so I'll make other toys for charity!

My father in law made name trains for all of his grandchildren. My husband and I would like to pick up the torch and make them for our grandchildren. I’d like to think it would make him happy and proud. The name trains have always been favorites of our children and their children really love them.
It’s wonderful that we can watch you its like getting help from beyond.

Question - How did you get the windows so straight on the caboose? I am having issues with them not being in line with the one next to them. I did a center horizontal line and then vertical lines to get my X. However, I am still finding that a hole is a mm too high or low. I am using a hole saw in my drill press. I noticed you were using a spade bit (don't currently own any). Is there something I am missing, or is it just a matter of practice?
Thanks for watching Jeremy! I draw a line to align them, just like you are mentioning. And yes, sometimes it's hard to align them, but I'm okay with that haha
I made this train for my grandson who is two and a half years old. He is amazed with it.

Yes, I'm very happy with that! They gave me a bandsaw, will make it a lot easier to make more toys :D (I hope to have more then 70 this year :D).

Yes it's a really nice bandsaw! Yeah, right now I'm at the phase of searching for easy models to make! So the number of toys is still zero right now haha. But need to start somewhere....

Very nice little train set! Just curious, did you glue the couplings on the 6mm side? Or are the couplings separate or loose? Thanks!
Thank you very much! At first I didn't glue the couplings, but after a little thinking I glued them on the front of each cabin.

Do you have a video on the jig for your belt sander? I'd like to do that in my shop....
Hi, I'm sorry I don't have a video about that jig. But it's not that hard to make that. You can find other videos about using a beltsander on it's side.
