Hello, how do you run PHP within a html file on Ubuntu linux in visual studio code, I have been looking all over the internet for that. When I try to require_once a php file into html the opening < becomes oddly shaped and the imported php is not seen when I load the html page, thank you.
I have error
"Not Found"
"The request resource /index.php was not found on this server

I have two folders in home both containg php files while executing them through vscode files in one folder aste running properly but files in other folder are not

This does not work, the path is still unconfigured. Also, the settings.json file is a totally different than how it looks in your tutorial. First you get an error that the path cannot be recognized. If you disable the @builtin php as the php elephant app suggests, You get error "PHP not found" when you do this. Maybe this used to work but now it is outdated.
UPDATE: I removed visual studio code from the software center and installed it using the command line, than it worked.
