Very true!!

The parents are gorgeous, so naturally their daughter is! And they are emotionally very healthy and loving! You have to be in this type of world🙂 And the daughter is extremely wise/ intelligent
Such beautiful people, I think having an intact family with mom and dad like GOD designed helps children be emotionally healthy and happy.

The daddy has too much swag and he’s handsome 😂😂 you guys are a very beautiful family☺️

People like to talk down about the younger generations.....But in reality THIS young lady is what it looks like when you actually raise your kids well, the problem just lies in too many of us not growing up in healthy stable loving homes with adequate guidance is all.
Did you know Black is a very powerful color. It's the only colour that can blend in with everything and looks beautiful. She is so pretty.
Thanks❤️
@cruz carchevy most definitely!🥰
Actually there's no such thing as race, race was developed or used to divide people and actually the start of racism.
Black isn't a color it's the sum of all colors

I love this episode! 😂 I have been married to my husband since 1995 and we have seen it all! Our mixed children have been told they look Hispanic! I have always taught my children to be themselves and always remember that they are unique and shine with that! Thank you guys! Your baby is beautiful! Keep up the good work! By the way...lol I’m black and my husband is white!
Hey👋🏽
Thanks for watching and for sharing with us!!!🥰❤️
Hispanic is not a race so you can’t look Hispanic lol most Hispanics are mixed race
I can relate to that people say that my daughter looks Cuban but she’s actually just black-and-white
As a biracial person with biracial children, I support this channel. Everything your daughter touched upon I had those similar experiences growing up. I mostly had people assuming I was Puerto Rican.
Thanks for watching and the support!🙏🏽
Descendant, after much rejection and discrimination my daughter is really struggling with being biracial. She says I can never get it.
How u had biracial children?
@Beauty B Well, considering the time I came into existence, my identity was selected for me. Adopted into an all Black family, Black was the race I identified with, even though genetically I am half white half Black. Having children with the mothers who are white well...I guess if going the percentage route, that would make my children a quarter Black and three quarters white, semantics.
@@500blockboy2 she probably has a mixed race boyfriend or another ethinticy

I remember my professor ask students to describe themselves. Each person identified their skin tone. 🤔 I thought before we entered this world, we first a humanbeing.
Its unfortunate, that individuals are seen based upon complexion. Many people have different ethnic backgrounds.
The word Race was created to divide individuals.
If you compare a "white" individual with a sheet of white paper are they actually white?🤔
I was the only biracial kid in my school besides my siblings. Growing up I was thinking that we are different, but I now know that there’s only one race in the world! A human race🌎💫😇 we all cry when we are sad. We smile when we are happy. We age when the time pass.

This was such a lovely conversation. I an African, husband Italian and raising our children in Italy. I recognise that people are going to treat you differently depending on where you are.
Thanks for watching!
There is a very big difference in day experience of a biracial person in the United States versus Europe, a lot may come down to the fact that in the United States we have the African-American community versus the African community which is distinguished separately.
Wow what a bs answer considering w….e supremacy controls how one lives and gets seen in today’s society

OMG this video was such a breath of fresh air! Hearing your daughters perspective on growing up biracial was so relate-able, on so many levels! I’m also biracial, my mom is Black and my father is Mexican and everything she mentioned in the beginning has been my entire experience as well 😅. It’s sometimes frustrating that people want to know my race or background first, before even asking what my name is 😩. Growing up looking predominantly Hispanic but feeling and being raised predominantly by my black side has made me soooo confused at times. Like I definitely identify with my black side more, and honestly forget that I’m half Mexican. I think it definitely falls on which parent or if both parents brought you up with educating you on their cultural practices/ beliefs. As I’ve grown older I’ve gotten even closer to my black side, and have found solace in educating myself on black history :). Maybe one day I’ll spark interest in digging deeper into my Mexican side, but until then :) like your daughter mentioned we’re humans first 🤍.
So glad to hear you were able to relate and benefit from the video. Yes it can be very frustrating when people always want to know “what” you are. It’s like, I’m human🤷🏽♂️
Some is just people’s curiosity but others may have some ill point behind it all. You also made some great points because a lot could have to do with how you are raised, meaning if you only had 1 parent or both. Definitely could make a difference. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! Thanks for watching!!🥰🙏🏽❤️
Great convo! I am Indian American (my parents are from India) and people always ask "what are you?" ... i really dislike that question but wouldn't mind AT ALL if people were to ask me the correct question which is "what is your ethnicity/ethnic background?" I love talking about my background but I think asking someone "what they are?" Is kinda dehumanizing.
Yes!! Exactly!! Great point!! Thank u for your input!!❤️
IKR. It's almost like asking what breed a dog is. People are a piece of work.
Yeah, I’m sure it can be annoying.
If that’s you in the thumbnail, then, even though it can seem like an ignorant statement from them, it could be confusing because you could EASILY pass for a person of African descent as well.
I don’t know if you are of Dravidian descent but MANY Dravidians can pass for some East Africans, that is because Dravidians come from East Africa originally. There’s an even older small population of Black people in India in the Andaman and Nicobar, Sentinel islands who have been there for over 70,000 years.
@@kingofhearts1072 i dont mind being mistaken for another ethnicity (it happens all the time lol) i just dont like the way some people phrase the question. Asking "what are you?" is different to me than "what is your ethnicity/ethnic background?" .. even if it isnt meant to be malicious it just comes off negatively to me. Yes actually I would be of Dravidian background! My parents are from the southern state of Kerala in India 🙂

I'm biracial and I get the same questions, but I just answer the question. My mom's white and my dad's black and then continue on with whatever the conversation is. I take no offense at all with questions. It's understandable, because people are curious and I'm more than happy to represent the best of both world 😀
Carla I think that your approach is the correct one...the young lady in the video seems to have a chip on her shoulder and tries to act smart with ppl when asked about her nationality...ur not going to make many friends with that attitude. I certainly would not want to make friends with someone that acts so defensive.

Interesting video. My mom is Scottish and Irish and has pale skin. My dad is Irish and Sephardic and has a dark complexion. As consequence of my dad’s family’s looks that I inherited, 90% of the people I meet think I am Italian. My mother-in-law would occasionally make quips about me being Italian, I would tell her I wasn’t. One time she got kind of cross with me when I corrected her, she called me a liar. I just ignored her comments after that.
The “what are you” comments came when some friends from college met my dad. He had brown skin but white facial features. It bothered them because they couldn’t figure my dad out.
I can definitely relate. Funny thing is I am black as can be but the fact that I'm Latina confuses some people, and I have been told by black people that I'm not black. Lol! Cultural education definitely needed in our society so thank you for bringing this conversation to your platform.

Latina is not a race. It is an ethnicity. A lot of people are very ignorant.
Latina isn’t a race , anyone can be a Latino so thoes people don’t know shit
For the longest time people thought I was mixed and asked me “what am I?” Growing up I didn’t really think much of it because I knew what I was, am, I am human like she put it. I’m light skinned but that never mattered to me nor the people I hung out with. I hung out with everybody, every race every type of person. I love all of my friends and color never really mattered to us. I’m in my twenties and I still believe there’s a chance for some people to see that this hate fight is pointless. We are human, that’s all that should matter. Hatred should never be an option.

First time viewer and i loved your daughters insight and maturity.I have the impression that biracial kids got the bigger insight on wanting to be seen as humans becasue they dont pinpoint on where they 'should' belong between the colors. After he finished shopping he came up to me and said “I thought about what I said and I’m sorry that if I came off wrong, I didn’t mean to make it seem like I was racist in someway cause I thought based on your looks that you were Hispanic.” I never take to offense to it and I told him that I need to learn Spanish and creole since I live in south Florida!

Those people are ignorant because Hispanic isn’t a race you there isn’t a set standard for what a Hispanic person to look like . You can be any race and be Hispanic

I'm just seeing this video for the first time. You guys are such a great family. It was great to hear your daughter's perspective. I'm older than she is, but could definitely relate to her experiences as I am also mixed race. I can't tell people how many times people assumed I was of Latin American ancestry. My kids have very different experiences as well based on what people assume about them from the way they look. Thanks for sharing and good luck to all of you!
Thanks for sharing your perspective and for your input on the situation. God bless you!🙏🏽🙂
What a beautiful daughter! Great! Mixed raced couples are great! Power to you from Germany!
Yeah in Germany it is' nt such a big Drama... my huband is from the Ex- Jugoslawia and i am German ( for shure) ....we have 2 kids and you can see some differences... but: we life our lives in freedom... i'd whished he could give more colour than nose..( 😅) but that is fine..he knows that..we have two healthy kids... that is enough....it is fascinating, to see the face of the mother in another colour .....it is so Great! and: beautiful!
I've dated Black, Hindi, Hispanic & White (Jew to Gentile) and married Mixedish. Folks are folks. Your daughter's correct people constantly have the questions or statements of "what are you...❓". Especially, when they see my eye color and our daughter's - our daughter's and husband's skin color. It's all about the context of when and how the questions are presented.
Context! Exactly💯
