1:59 so sounds like an Obituary groove...rock on. 8:32 is an awesome groove. Anywho, there's some quality stuff on this vid, are these national or locals?. Just moved into the area, any good resources you can point me to finding good Syracuse local music? Know of anyone looking for a solid guitarist or drummer? Any help would be appreciated - thanks.

It seems this music is making a come-back. used to see this stuff back-when in NYC, mosty at CBGBs, Agnostic Front, Cro Mags, Token Entry, ect but it seemed to pretty much came to a halt. Later, bands that claimed to be Hard Core, were...NOT. So, other than this, I only heard Down to Nothing and Hammerfist and a few others, so, what else can I check out thats not "post hardcre" or EMO or Metal-core shit? Fuck, sometimes I get this techno shit when I put a search on hardcore.

Nah man, it never came to a halt. It's just that it stopped momentum amongst outsiders. Which was fine with the people who were there from the beginning. When those people lost interest and moved on to the new flavor of the month, it cleaned house and got rid of the fly by Night fake fans. If you were a real fan, you knew where it was. The bands were there, the shows were there. Yeah, a7 became niagara, but the people were still there. Todd youth ran it until his death, RIP, but the music always continued. In the words of Todd Youth, hardcore will never die.
